Location, location, location. Hotel staff was really friendly. Hotel was top notch clean. Pool was a little outdated but its a older hotel. Overall 4 out of 5.

Location is great. Only complaint was ice machines were not working on multiple floors, the Super Bowl game was a challenge for all of the guests due to not being able to hear the game due to lobby music( they said they did not know how to fix if nor did they even try) and the $60 per night valet parking was kind of high.

Just for one night to meet with family. Took us a while to figure out the elevators because they weren't explained, but we eventually figured them out. Hotel was clean. Breakfast buffet was like no hotel buffet ever before-- very fresh, good QUALITY, delicious food. Fruit was beautiful and ripe. I'd love to know the brand of sausage. It was super tender and tasty.

Great location to River Walk! We enjoyed our stay - the only thing we didn’t like was how certain elevators were designated for our floors and no buttons in elevators. It was confusing. But the hotel was over Al great beds and pillows very comfortable!

The pool is a bit outdated but everything else was up to par. I like that there is an onsite laundry machine available that really helped a lot with our family of 5!

It wasn’t the cleanest hotel we have stayed at. I found ants in the restroom and hairs on the couches that were not ours. Towels smelled dirty even tho they were “clean”

Unfortunately the room we stayed in, the carpet smelled horrible. We tried switching rooms , but they didn’t have anything left. And the next morning we woke up to notice the very white sheets were actually dirty and look moldy.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is large and held a lot of people on NYE but we still never heard anything when we went to bed. Housekeeping was great. Right on the Riverwalk but not at a particularly noisy end and it is attached to a mall and several restaurants which was convenient. We’d stay here again.

I was there for a work function. The staff was extremely helpful. The bed was not comfortable (for me) and when we arrived the room was pretty warm but it was clean and I was also able to get an early check in. The bar was amazing and so was the food from the restaurant.

AC did not work, asked front desk to check it while my family and I went for dinner, and came back to the room being even HOTTER. Called the front desk for them to check the AC again or for fans because it was uncomfortablely hot. The fanks took a while to come up as we were gettinf ready for bed. Had the AC worked the money spent would've been worth it, but unfortunately that was not that case.

This was the quietest hotel room I have ever stayed at! Absolutely no noise from the halls or outside, and there was plenty going on. I was here for a work conference, and it was also fiesta time. The only noise was in the lobby, but the rest of the hotel was so quiet. The room was clean and comfortable.

Our second night there we kept hearing an awful banging sound (imagine your washing machine when it is off balance). We called the office at 8:30 pm and were told someone would come right up. No one ever came. It turned out to be one of the elevators. It was deafening all night long. Three kids and no one slept at all.

Good customer service, it took so long for hot water to get to my shower that I could have walked down to the lobby from the 31st floor and took a hot bath in the bathroom sink, then walked back up to my room in the same time.

The property itself was fine. Looked modern and was very clean. The bed was beyond firm and not comfortable and the pillows were flat. The shower water pressure was minimal. The customer service was great but I don’t think I’ll stay here again.

Despite contacting the hotel multiple times days prior to arrival, we did not receive the floor placement we requested and were placed on the opposite end of the building on 27 from the lounge located on 26. we attempted to have this rectified through the online chat system, but nothing was provided by way of relocation or compensation. One in our party had a broken foot and the other was a special needs adult. Being on a different floor and far from the side of the building with the concierge lounge made the day more difficult than necessary. We do not plan to visit the Marriott River center in the future.

The stay itself was good but really upset me is related to the reservation. My reservation had an upgrade option for $5 that included free valet parking. When I checked in at the hotel the front desk didn't have it on their end. The clerk said that's ok, I'll remove the valet charge. After my stay when I got the email bill, I was charged $50 for the one night valet charge. Infuriating on a couple levels. One, that Orbitz reservations and Marriott communications were not the same, and two, the clerk said she removed the charge, but didn't. Makes me feel like if I hadn't looked at the bill, they would have got away with it. How hard is it for what you book online to be the same as when you check in?

The room was excellent, and the service from morning front desk staff Dante and Jasmyn was both sweet and professional. The morning waitress/hostess at The Tributary on 07/09/2025 was also very attentive and kind. However, I am giving 3 stars due to a few concerns: there was no complimentary parking, with a $50 nightly fee, and no complimentary breakfast—both of which are commonly offered by comparable hotels, not even a complimentary bottle water in the room. Additionally, I had an unsatisfactory experience with the evening front desk staff regarding a lost item. I misplaced my sunglasses in the lobby, and the interaction with staff appeared inconsistent and unhelpful, raising concerns about how lost items are handled. I understand it was my fault for misplacing my belongings, but they were very sketchy.

This hotel is close to the Alamo and shopping. The convention center is walking distance. Plenty of restaurants walking distance. Over all a great place. A little expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

Amazing Customer Service!!! We arrived and received Mexican Candy, Complimentary Drinks, Free Tour Ride of the RiverCenter and Credit for eating in their restaurants. It is near restaurants, tourist attractions and a very Inviting Atmosphere!!!

Had breakfast from the hotel cafe and healthy options were very limited. Rooms were clean and minimal items for guests. There was one water bottle in the room for $6 and that’s all. No items by the bathroom sink whatsoever.

The front desk clerk who checked us in was awesome. Very nice and the rooms are nice. But when we ordered from the restaurant, it took forever to get our food! We sat there about 15/20 minutes just waiting for a server to come even acknowledge us and take our drink order. When we finally got our food, one of the orders was wrong, we were missing an order. Again, it took forever for them to bring the correct order and bring the missing order. Server did not come around to see if everything was good or we needed something else.
