Short distance from riverwalk, room was clean and spacious. But room could use a bit of maintenance done bathroom had torn shower curtains, shower head seemed like it was breaking from wall. ceiling paint was coming off. AC worked great, beds were comfortable. Overall our stay was ok did have to pay extra for parking fee of $15, swimming pool was nice and clean

Rented for pool and has a sign that said “Pool closed today.” The pool water was green and was the same way when we left the next day. Sign might have been up for days and didn’t look like they were fixing anytime soon. Pool was one of the main reasons got that hotel. Also got charged for parking, even though we didn’t park there. Disappointing.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room key cards weren't programmed or worked correctly. Elevators were slow and shoddy. Also, the curtains were useless against blocking the sunlight and the air conditioner stopped working by the morning.

The location is perfect, if your plans are to go to the Alamo/Tower/Riverwalk while in San Antonio. There is also a great lil brewery close by, and a nightclub within walking distance. The only negatives about it, is getting in and out of the parking lot. It is a bit tight, and backs up into the street. None of the vending machines worked, so bring water, snacks and soft drinks with you.

Horrible, mold everywhere, covers had stains and rooms smelled horrible. People fighting outside in the hallway and went front desk was informed they just laughed and said somone will check it out but no one did. My son was going to make coffee and inaide coffe maching in room was full of mold inside. Just horrible do not go there.

Air conditioning wasn’t very effective but it really wasn’t that hot so it wasn’t bad. The shower had some small mold spots probably cause the vent to keep the moisture out wasn’t working well. But other than that everything was about normal.

There was no fridge in the room. Floors were sticky and carpet in the room was dirty. There was an old bandaid on the floor, and hair ties that were not mine. The shower rod was broken in the shower. I left for a few hours and came back to my room with the tv on. I did not turn it on.

This is a good bang for your buck place to stay near the Riverwalk. Room was clean, theres a fridge, theres a desk and extra chair, a/c worked real good, the water pressure in shower was strong, but the volume on the tv being locked at a certain limit was something I would say wasn't enjoyable. The walk takes about 10 minutes to the Riverwalk and there is actually those scooters everywhere that you can rent outside the front of the hotel and would make the trip even faster. We went around the evening time there was still quite a bit of foot traffic and steady car traffic but it was well lit on the way to and from the hotel. I would say the biggest negative experience with the hotel were the front staff being distracted when first checking me in, I had to come back from the top of the parking garage (that you pay for on top of room cost) after unloading all my luggage to having to pack it back up to go back down to get issued a new room key because they made a mistake & The front desk lady when I turned in my key when departing was not friendly when pointing me to a bowl to "throw" my room key in

Overall a great stay, and close walk to the Alamo and Riverwalk Center of you disregard the homeless loitering under the 35 bridge. Some things to consider, they charge $15 for tenants to park on site, $25 for an early check-in, and the volume on the room television does not go higher than 50% which made it hard to hear.

We stayed there Friday and Saturday Saturday. We were moved to the second room due to issues and Saturday night. We got a bed. The manager Dennis does not seem to care and leave his staff to handle his complaints. We also paid $15 a night for parking and then they sold on the parking to the bar across the street which left us with nowhere. The whole hotel is trash and the manager is denying the bedbugs even though I have over 30 pictures and pictures of the bugs in the bed.

It took an hour to check in and still had to wait 30 mins for my room to be ready. Missed my event check in time for my paid seats at 600pm. Since we were not even in the room until 630pm. The other quest were loud and slammin their doors people yelling in the hallway.

You have to pay for parking. It says a few minutes from downtown, but I would not walk back to the hotel from downtown after dark. The hotel is in fair condition as far as the rooms are clean the staff is OK, but I don’t think I will stay at this red roof fan again we have stayed at the one in Austin in Dallas and those were great but maybe it’s just time for maybe they’re gonna remodel I don’t know, but that’s my opinion

Unfortunately we will not be staying here again. The room smelled of dog/urine and the furniture was old and falling apart. This is in a sketchy area, and I am pretty sure there is prostitution that goes on in this hotel. Spend a little more and stay somewhere closer to the Riverwalk.

I liked that it was close to the Alamodome. We left our car at the hotel ($15 for parking) and walked. Parking lots close by were charging more and Alamodome's parking cost were high. We felt safe walking through the area. It was decently well lit. What i did not like, the ac took forever to cool down the room. We were gone for like 3 hours and the room was still warm. I moved it down to the coldest setting and it finally got cooler. Also ac unit was kinda loud. But we slept through it. We had a room with 2 queen size beds and no way were those actual queen sizes. They were definitely only full size. As we were getting ready for bed, I saw a roach and was able to kill it. I know bugs happen, but i was still grossed out. And the last thing i did not like is that i wanted to use their pack and play but they did not have the appropriate fitted sheets that fit it. My daughter moves a lot and i did not want to chance her getting tangled up. All in all, I would stay here again if I had another event at the Alamodome.

It's had some wear and tear, and our room/bathroom was basic, but the location is great and the value for where it is was wonderful! Our family of four and dog walked to the Alamo in about 10 minutes and the riverwalk from there. It was a great experience!

Parking was easy, just disappointed that we had to pay extra for parking as guest of the hotel. It was in a walking distance of what we wanted to do. The local staff was friendly. The coffee maker in the room wasn't the best, it leaked, but we managed and they always had coffee downstairs. I do wish that there was a refrigerator in the room. The drink machines were TOO EXPENSIVE. That was my main complant.

We have stayed here several times. Appreciate that they have onsite parking and their parking rates are cheaper than most. Don't like that you have to upgrade to get a fridge and microwave in your room. First morning there was no coffee and our toilet was clogged but overall not bad, we would stay again. Not a bad walk to the convention center.
