The entire hotel was covered in scaffolding with thick plastic over the windows so minimal natural light. The side door, temp entrance was rigged to be unlocked. Construction from 8-5. The bedding looked clean but super wrinkled. It was comfortable to sleep in. There was hair on the bathroom counters, in the sink and hanging from the dryer/cord. I was only there for a quick sleep so I just cleaned it. The front desk employee charged me for the room, even though I prepaid online. I thought she was just processing the incidentals. She did immediately refund it.

Undergoing renovation. Does not say so on the website. No lobby, dining room is small. The room door latch did not lock. There was no hot water on the first evening. Had to enter the hotel from the side doors. Definitely less accommodating than other hotels of the same chain. Hopefully when they finish their upgrade, things will be better.

They were in the middle of renovation when we arrived, so no elevator! Minor inconvenience for us, but felt bad for others. They did offer refunds, but no discounts! Room was nice, clean(on the 3rd floor). Bed & pillows were comfy. Only complaints, minor, toilet ran unless handle jiggled & you could hear shower in adjacent room. Breakfast was great, staff super nice considering the circumstances. Would stay again!

The only thing I was disappointed in was the temperature of an indoor pool! It was not swimmable! What’s the point of having an indoor pool if you’re not gonna keep it between 78 and 83° so that it can be swam in?

Unfortunately they were in the middle of construction and it was difficult to find the entrance which was in a side door and down a hallway. The side door was propped open when I arrived around 10:00 p.m. This was a little concerning for the safety of the people staying at the hotel; particularly since you had to walk past a whole row of rooms to find your way to the front desk. Also, could not have been very quiet. I have stayed here before, it's a nice place, construction is inevitable, I can imagine hard to keep clean. It just felt creepy and dirty this time. The staff was wonderful and kept cheery despite being in a work zone and that inconvenience. Not enough parking due to construction company's equipment everywhere so had to park at another hotel and walk over . Look folks, this is a nice place ...usually and I'm sure after the construction it will be even nicer. Just some major safety concerns during this stay due to construction.

First of all we were greeted by a women who was not dressed professional at all. After being on the road for most of the day, we couldn’t wait to get into a nice warm hot tub. Well, it did not work, she had no idea what the problem was and there were really no options. The next day the asst. manager said sorry, but if you’re not a member, I can not give you any points toward something else. So…that’s where it is. The only remaining room was the handicap one with a king bed. It was fine, clean etc. Nothing special about the visit. Except things don’t work as advertised. So - probably will not visit a Hampton Inn again.

The hotel is being painted and the roof is being replaced. The entire building is covered with scaffolding. This is an inconvenience for parking and access to the room. The staff is very friendly and handling the construction inconveniences well. Great location. I would recommend this hotel for the future.

Hotel is under renovation and you cannot use the emergency exit at the west end of the hotel. Our room had cat food by the broken microwave, which would not close and I had to unplug as the light was on all the time with the door hanging open into the room. And who would put a coffee maker in the bathroom. Yum, a little feces with my coffee please. Desk chair was so worn out that one arm had no padding. Probably more but just want to forget the experience.

Pool access was blocked due to remodeling. Wasn't allowed to use the laundry. Carpet seemed to be vacuumed but edges weren't . First room had no hot water coming out of the shower and the drain would not drain. I was switched to a different room which was better, however the overall experience wasn't the best. Also my hotel keys quit working every day, so I had to constantly get them fixed.

We checked into our room it was late and we were tired. My husband got into bed when I notice the room hadn’t been vacuumed and there was an empty Tylenol box sticking out from under the bed. The man at the front desk was really nice and we changed rooms. But the bathroom floors hadn’t been cleaned and the bench had little scraps of paper all over it. My husband was too tired to move rooms again. The staff was nice the cleanliness awful. Stayed there before with never this problem.

I really feel the management should instruct cleaning staff to turn ON the A/C and to keep the air going when people check out. Rooms amelled musty because thermostat was set way way high and fan was off (2 rooms, 2 floors). Trust me, you aren’t saving anything by doing that. Bathroom is good. Common areas need repair badly. Elevator needs a tune up (slow, jolting).

I stay here every time I come to Utah, I love this hotel! It’s even better with the renovations, the room was really nice. I love the breakfast, the pool/hot tub is nice, good cleaning service, quiet at night. The area has many restaurants nearby and Target a 5-minute walk. Free city bus service right outside the hotel. I’ve never even shopped around, I just book here :)

We stayed there for two nights. The first night was fine. Quiet hotel, etc. The second night it rained and the roof leaked into our room. We told the front desk in the morning and the response was “sorry, Expedia will send you a receipt”. While they cannot control the roof leaking, we would have expected much better customer service.

We had a great stay with our dog. Easy access to taking our dog for a walk. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful. If I go to Provo again I would stay there. The only thing that would’ve made it better was if they had more luggage carts. They only have 2 that were being used.

When I had to pay over $200 a night to stay, I expected a much nicer place. The employees were excellent and it was clean. However, the place needs updates, especially the bed. It was very worn down and when I looked at the mattress, it was extremely old. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels this year and never paid over $150 that we’re very nice and updated. With excellent breakfast unlike this one. This was not up to the standard especially for $450 for two nights. Won’t stay again.
