This is a good place to stay in Provo. It's conveniently located (you can walk to some restaurants, but you'll definitely want a car, although parking was limited and crowded). It's clean and comfortable. However, it's beginning to show its age and needs a refresh (furniture old, a few permanent stains, big dents in fridge, etc). It's not bad, but you can feel its age creeping up on itself. Breakfast was good, the fitness room was great and the suites are comfortable. Good value for what I paid. Front desk service and friendliness was awesome.

The swimming pool area was one of the cleaner pool areas we've been to in a long time. That was nice! The breakfast items offered weren't great, too much of the same thing every day, and it would be nice to have some good gluten free options.

It was frustrating that the rooms are advertised as being able to accomdiate many adults having 2bedroom options for rooms. However the beds were smaller than queens (my mistake for not verifying), they charge for cribs & rollaway beds, the shampoo and soap were completely out in the bedroom attached bathroom, only 1 roll of toliet paper was provided, and there were questionable stains all throughout the room. The hotel itself is older and the staff was great, but the stay overall was very medocore considering local hotels nearby. The neighbors shower was so loud it woke me up at 5am. Both alarm clocks wouldnt stop going off at 6 in both rooms. Then the poor breakfest staff only had 1 women handling the crowd on a sunday morning. She was trying her best, but a weekend crowd really should have had at least 2. Things were repeadity empty. Additionally, for the size of this hotel and its advertiment of large rooms, the hotel pool was very very small, only able to allow 16 people. There is also no hot tub.

No daily room service and that was not communicated at the time we arrived. The rooms are significantly smaller than promoted or advertised. The swimming pool was not working when we got there. They charge extra fees based on the number of people in the room. We reserved a two-bedroom suite for six people. So even though the rooms were designed for six people they charge you extra per person for anyone over two people. Therefore I consider this deceptive advertising and pricing.

Because of the snowy weather, we couldn't enjoy the outdoor patio and the fire pit. Our family decided to enjoy the pool but they told us that the pool wasn't working this month. We reserve the room with non-refundable seeing they have an indoor pool. We should stayed another hotel.

We switched rooms 2 times, the first room had hair in the shower and dirt and hair on the sheets. The second room unfortunately also had hair in the shower, the sheets were cleaner but still ended up lying down a blanket on top of them.

This hotel was incredibly dirty. Our baby’s hands and feet were completely black after crawling on the carpet in our room for an hour before dinner. Also, there was unused dishwasher detergent all over the dishwasher. The mirror in the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and had hairspray all over it. There was no even a handprint on the door frame to the bathroom.

The price was very good. The rooms were well appointed - we loved having a full-sized refrigerator (with freezer, of course) and sink. Having lots of desk space was wonderful - we could put all our luggage there and pull from it when we needed stuff. Breakfast was very good. The scrambled eggs were made just the way I like them. They even had BYU Creamery ice cream by the pint for sale at the front desk mini-store. The Residence Inn is half a block from the Provo river walk. We enjoyed gazing to the "waterfall" and getting exercise walking along the path. Be aware that breakfast is very popular, so one may wait a few minutes to get a free table, especially if you have a large group that wants to sit together. The kitchenette in the room had pots, pans, serving spoons, paper towels, etc. Even a pitcher for water in the 'fridge. But there were no utensils. We just popped over to the breakfast area and got some (metal :-) spoons, forks, and knives for our room. Always wear socks in the room (room 139). The rug was very grimy. Walking around in bare feet quickly left black grudge on the soles of my feet. I doubt the rugs have ever been cleaned since they were installed.

Shower tiles have black molds, asked the front office to gave it clean but still remained. Towel rack fell in the middle of the night. Dishwashwer leak water when used. AC unit very noisy you can hear it all the time. Carpet srains. Breakfast thesame for my whole 5 days stayed.

Found 3 different bugs in our room. The desk was not cleaned. Breakfast was limited and they had trouble keeping it stocked and clean. It was fine to sleep overnight but I would not sleep there again or pay the cost of this hotel again.

We had high hopes for this property. But when we got to the room we were let down. It was extremely dusty and cold. When we went to pick something up that had fallen behind the sofa bed, it was disgusting! Food, dirt, and garbage. The main bed was fine. BUT the pullout was not. The mattress should have been replaced years ago. The extra sheets, pillow and blanket for the pullout were not clean. The blanket was so lightweight that it didn't do anything for warmth or comfort. The shower head nozzle needs to be soaked in de-limer as it was super powerful, but very sharp. We appreciated the soaps in the hotel, as they were not super strong with scent. The breakfast was very high in grains and sugar. We appreciated the real eggs. But the yogurt was non fat, which means high sugar. They only had ripe bananas one day. We were not able to eat the provided breakfast as it was mostly grains, and we can't have those.

We were in town for a family reunion last weekend, and stayed here. Loved it!! Not many hotels are quiet, but I didn’t hear anything from our room. The rooms are huge. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was excellent, 7 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The beds are a little hard and the sheets a bit rough, but for the price acceptable. Be aware that the beds are Full size, not queens.

They were doing some construction/maintenance on a door above and it was noisy late into the evening. (After 11 pm) which was really annoying with trying to get some sleep. The AC unit is noisy and was inconsistent in keeping the room at temp especially at night The breakfast they ran out of scrambled eggs so didn’t get any one of the mornings. Other than those 2 items it was a good stay overall.

This place works best for families or shared room but separate beds. We arrived at 3:30 pm and housekeeping only had one room cleaned. It had a nice view of the parking lot. We killed six bugs crawling on the windows and two on the sheets in the middle of the night. I awoke with a bug bite. Small pool was occupied with children and teens. Halls were hot and dirty. We never received a room key. "Hot" breakfast was cold. Other than that, average stay.

Key fobs were down and we had to be escorted to room every time we wanted in which resulted in us usually waiting and waiting. Room was one with a kitchen yet no forks, no spoons, no knives, no glasses. Wasn’t impressed by Marriott at all. Fail! They didn’t even attempt to try to remedy the issues.

This property is NOT what I would expect for a Marriott. It was dirty - there was mold in the shower and toothpaste on the outside of the bathroom cabinets. There was some sort of black/brown substance on the door frame and door that I will not attempt to identify. The beds were uncomfortable and pillows were flat. We were VERY surprised at the price, and that a 2 room suite had only one queen bed in each bedroom. It was not a good value. The staff was EXTREMELY rude, also. Our room was not available until 4:50pm (check in was already late at 4pm), and the key cards deactivated at 10:15. When I approached the staff, they were not helpful and quite frankly rude.

The employees we encountered at this property were fantastic! So nice and kind, going above and beyond. The cleanliness of the room was ok, bathroom floors were sticky, there was an item under the bed, but sheets felt clean and overall, it was fine for our one night stay. Breakfast was great- excellent selections, gf options, fully stocked until the end! Bathroom door didn't completely close and a couple updates could be helpful, but pool was fun and nice and overall we were fine with our stay.
