The hotel is in a great place, however the parking fees are very expensive, $26 per day, and the internet is very expensive, although I have registered a membership, the website says it is free, I was still charged $15 per day, the hotel staff said they would take off the charge, but I didn’t receive refund up to now.

Stay was pretty good, hotel was clean. However i wouldnt recommend using the parking garage under the hotel they overcharge you. Parking was supposed to be 23$ a day and i got charged $120 for 3 days. Got completely ripped off

The hotel and staff were great. It was a convenient location. We were disappointed that the attractive bar shown in the Expedia info was closed for construction. It was a main reason we selected this property. They had a temporary bar that was supposed to be open 3-10pm, but was not staffed as of 4pm.

Overall the property was fine. The staff seemed pleasant and helpful but unaware of the true nature of parking at city creek. I should have been told not to park outside of the hotel. It took me over a hour to get my car out of city creek parking on a Sunday and had to pay double the quoted price to get out of the city creek parking garage. Please use hotel parking only

I gave a 3 due to frustration with extra fees. First having to pay for parking, but worst was having to pay for the internet. Our TV kept going off during a movie. It did come back but annoying to watch.

I was a bit put off that they had a section (main doors) blocked off. My bathtub had hair in it. They didn't refill my in room coffee and there was jo complimentary coffee available on the property. You also had to pay for Wi-Fi

First time staying here; Great experience! Extremely clean which is the first thing I evalute When I stay new places, very impressed! Front desk staff was very kind. I forgot a lint roller for my shirt and had a business meeting. The gal at the front desk have me some tape and was very helpful. She mentioned that she often helps guests with one off needs such as mine. Really appreciated her and her service, sadly didn’t get her name. Overall I will Stay here again when I’m in SLC, thanks for being excellent at what you do. It matters.

Upon checking on first room had hair on counter, dust over bed frame & bathroom was dirty. Second room the bed had hair under the pillow and in the sheets as well as shower. Dust over bed frame. I called the front desk and they said they had no more rooms to Move is from. I woke up with a bite behind my ear and one on my hip. I notified the facility & they just moved me rooms & access to the snack bar… upon checking out I noticed them again about the issues and they said a manager would call & offered me a Marriott account for points I said no. He asked for my number and email for the manager. I then received an email that I’ve been signed up for a Marriott account.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, the room was super clean. Being on the 14th roof you could hear all the commotion on the street, however my biggest gripe with this place is the glass shower rail the glass door slides on is not level so the door constantly slides open unless you keep your foot on the track and keep it from sliding open. RM 1404.

Upon arrival, we were given the wrong room number and had to go back to the front desk to get the right room. It was fixed, and I understand it was human error, but still annoying after a long day of travel. The room was ok, not as big as we expected. One of the worst was the barn door bathroom. It gives ZERO privacy. The automatic lights kept shutting off and on in the bathroom. The TV remote didn't work, and the TV seemed to struggle to connect to the internet. The wifi was nonexistent; even as a BonVoy member, it was so slow and would time out. We did eat in the restaurant one time, and it was a good experience. The room was either too hot or too cold with no airflow, so it got stuffy very quickly. The second night, we had someone bang on our door at 1:30 am and wake us up out of a dead sleep, which was terrifying. We called the front desk and told them, but there was no follow-up from management or anyone. The location was great for the convention we were attending, but overall, we just weren't wowed like we have been at other Marriotts. Probably won't stay there again despite several planned trips back to SLC in the coming months.

We were there for a hockey tournament. Early games. We had to be up at 4:30 am to be out of there by 5:15 am. It was freezing in the room so I wanted a hot nice shower to wake me up. After letting the water run with dial on completely hot for 15minutes. The water was freezing. So I tried the sink. Same thing. I called down to front desk and she had no clue why. I said I paid $300 for this night and I can’t even take a warm shower? It was very frustrating. What little time I was at the hotel it appeared to be very nice and clean.

Our room was cold and heater was noisy. I set temperature for 72 but the room started at 65 and never got above 69. The ball room was too cold to stay and dance and the staff couldn't get the air conditioning to stop to heat it up. The hotel has a good location and is safe.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be right downtown! Close to shopping and dining! Our room was very nice and quiet, the only problem we had was with the shower. There’s no shower curtain just a glass half wall which doesn’t help, also the water drains very slowly so your basically taking a bath/shower. With that being said we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for the connivence as we were going to The Hunting Expo. We have stayed here many times. The room was completely overpriced I’m sure because of the events happening with the expo. We had No hot water and no water at times. I tried to shower and the pressure kept shutting down to no water coming out and it would keep going cold when it did start back up. Very annoying. We won’t be staying here again! We will choose elsewhere for our stays in salt lake .

I Have Never Been So Disappointed , 1. Service was Horrible , had to call the front desk about 15 times to ask for clean towels and they were never sent up , also asked housekeeping for clean towels and also never got them , Our Room was never once cleaned even after requesting it 2. Its was super noisy , The Entire Room cieling vibrated 24/7 3. Valet service was always gone had to wait multiple times for up to 20 minutes 4. Had to use the stairs because elevators were down .

This was a wonderful stay, My wife and I were celebrating our 18th anniversary. The front desk upgraded us to a top floor room with a balcony and surprised us with room service bringing up some nice chocolates and a bottle of sparkling juice later in the evening. This was a great place to stay, City Creek, Temple Square, Galvan Center are just steps away.

Great location downtown near shopping and restaurants. Walking distance to everything. Across the street from the old Salt Palace and near the LDS temple. The hotel was also very clean and nice. Our only complaint was with the staff operating the front desk who were too busy talking to each other to notice their customers. This isn’t something I would mention but it happened 3 times in 2 days. Very disappointing for this hotel brand.

This hotel was clean, our room was comfortable and the people at the front desk were friendly. My family would have fully enjoyed this stay if it weren’t for the extremely loud night clubs right outside our window. Everything else about this stay was seamless and we were looking forward to staying here again on another trip until about 9pm. Unfortunately, we were not told about the night life that would disrupt our sleep until 2am. After the nightclubs closed, we slept quite comfortably. But I do not think I will stay here again. It was so loud that we could feel the bass from our beds.

Excellent location in downtown SLC, literally next door to a mall, restaurants, bars, cafés, tram. Rooms are large and very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean. It had a great view of the SLC Valley. Conveniently downtown, so you can walk to anything or jump on the free tram (free for a short distance anyway). Great service. A microwave for leftovers would have been nice. They have both self-park and valet parking. Having Temple Square only a 3-minute walk away was really convenient for our Music and the Spoken Word responsibilities. We'll, for sure, stay here again. Highly recomended.

Location, location, location! But not only that, the room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't count on eating in the hotel restaurant. The food was airport quality. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

Hotel staff was great. Friendly service. Some remodeling going on in the lobby and restaurant. Bar is convenient for a quick drink before heading out for the night. Our room had some rustic marks or stains on one of the bed sheets. Our room was right outside the elevator, which was fairly inconvenient with noise of guests coming and going. The bar on 100 S south side of the hotel had a constant crowd until 1am. Overall great location and we enjoyed our stay!

Front desk service was adequate, but the restaurant staff was inattentive and the (Salt Stone) hostess was totally apathetic and acted as if she was being put out to seat us. When we were seated the servers never came to the table and we ultimately got up and walked out.
