Quality Inn Port Angeles - near Olympic National Park

Very nice service! Very good breakfast. Close to ferry. Hotel is older and the part of the hotel where we stayed was across the street. Two story -no elevator.

Breakfast was great, and the rooms were quiet. The property is more of a motel than a hotel and is fairly old. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but they were clean.

I made reservations to visit Olympic National Park after Labour Day. The Quality Inn Port Angeles. Price was good and reviews were okay. We had 3 people on party so 2 queen beds were reserved. I’ll start off with it’s a motel that is spread out over three properties in the block. The room was on 3rd floor of adjacent building across street. No elevators. For people with climbing stairs disabilities or heavy luggage that’s an issue. Pros: The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean-toilet and sink and shower. They serve breakfast downstairs in lobby-scrambled eggs -biscuits and gravy -cereal- fruit-yogurt - coffee and juices. Decent amount of parking Seemed reasonably safe- lots of lights and it’s on a no outlet street on one side. Front desk were helpful and answered all questions. Price was great. Paid for 3 days what we easily would have paid for two days in some what higher rated motel and the highest end 1 day. They have 2 free washers and 2 free dryers! Cons: The Quality Inn Port Angeles is dated. Carpeting should have been replaced years ago. Fixtures in bathrooms are right out of the 1970’s. No exhaust fan in bathroom…which leads to the biggest drawback: black mold on ceiling over shower. I went to nearby Safeway and bought mold cleaner in spray bottle. Wipe down and redid several times. It was gone but that’s scary. It’ll be back. We won’t.

Really a nice stay with covered parking, walk to fabulous Kokopelli's and Bella Italia restaurants which were both fabulous as well as the Discovery Trailhead

For a chain hotel, we should be told there was no elevator and almost all the rooms are on the 2nd & 3rd floors. My husband and I are in our 70s and my husband has trouble with stairs. The employees were totally unhelpful with the situation.

We arrived late and the staff was more than eager to help us. I have a very large trailer with a big truck in front and they were able to accommodate my parking as well.

The property was great with plenty of amenities within walkable distance – however, there were very few parking spots and very little to do at the property itself without having to go out. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and this is definitely a place to go back for a budget stay

There were dead ants on bed, black color ants on white sheets and pillow case were so obvious, it was unacceptable. I called the front desk, a guy told me this is the season for ants. He said I can pick clean sheets at front desk. When I got to the front desk, a lady there was nice, she got me a set of clean sheets, came to the room with me and saw the dead ants on sheets, she was kind and helped me to change the sheets.

Dirty, dusty with strong lingering smell of mold.

Our room was not thoroughly cleaned. Carpet was stained also it smelled old and slightly moldy. We kept the bathrrom window open which helped. Bath tub was old and stained so we wore our flips flops to shower

In my opinion this property was extremely small, outdated and not very clean. Found someone else’s toe clippings near the bed and just overall felt old and dingy. I would be looking elsewhere the next time we visit Port Angeles. It was also one of the more expensive places to stay in our list of places to consider staying. We chose this hotel due to location and it included breakfast. I’ll be looking at other options for any return trip to the area.

There is currently no Wi-Fi at the property because the owner forgot to pay the bill. We found hair all over the shower (literally 6 different strands) and hair all in the beds. The fridge is covered in red sticky stuff and there’s cup marks everywhere as if nothing has been wiped down

Our tv did not work (no volume). The bathroom fan didn’t work and there was hair left in the shower from the previous occupants.

Great location. Big comfy room.

The A/C in our room was way too loud. It was hard to get a good night sleep. Also the black out curtains were too short and had a big gap between them allowing too much light through into the room. Water pressure in the shower is pretty much much non existent, and toilet would not flush consistently. The rooms need updating. Considering the price we paid, we expected better the room to be in a better condition.

The hotel was convenient to Olympic National Park, breakfast was excellent and we could walk to town for other meals, but the room was very small and cramped.

I had an OK stay. The room and bed were clean, but the walls were VERY thin and I heard every noise from the neighbors. Someone decided to take a shower at 2am and it was extremely loud and sounded like the person was showering in my room. It woke me up and was hard to get back to sleep. Would have had a much nicer stay if it was quieter.

Room was spacious and met my needs for a one-night stay.

King room was clean, but cramped for a three-night stay. Key point to know is that pictures on Hotels.com are of a second floor room in main building. First floor rooms are on the parking lot with no view and no privacy if curtains are open. I understood I had reserved a second floor room, but that turned out to be not confirmed by the hotel. I recommend calling hotel directly to confirm you have reserved second floor room. Apart from that, hotel is clean and safe. There are two buildings - only rooms on second floor main building have views. The hotel is on a bluff above downtown. Public stairs connect parking lot to downtown blocks and the ferry terminal. A Safeway is two blocks away.

All very good, clean, nice bathroom, decent breakfast, v.nice staff, great location. My room was on the ground floor, noise from room and walkway above was very annoying.

Receptionist was very friendly and allowed us to check in 2 hours early so we could go on a tour.

Check-in process was very slow, probably because few people came in for check-in at the same time and there was only person doing the check-ins. Room and bathroom were clean. Location of the hotel is nice. Walkable from the small downtown and eateries / grocery store.

Room was great. Clean and well stocked for bathroom linens. Staff was friendly and very helpful to out of towner for sightseeing. Breakfast is standard offerings but plentiful and hot. 24 hr coffee or juice. Overall excellent stay and would stay again.

The property is perched on a bluff overlooking the downtown, with views to Canada. Ten of course, there's the Olympic Mtns on the other side. But the stairway down to the downtown is right next to the property. Very convenient.

Close to the Ferry to Victoria - and a cute little town. Best part is proximity to hiking trails.

Close to downtown Port Angeles, but you will need to walk up stairs to get back to the hotel. Rooms are angled to view the port.

Weather was great and the place was in a good location. I enjoyed that they offered a great breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and much more.

Quiet hotel just a short walk down steep steps to restaurants, water. Air conditioner was in bathroom, not living room, so a little stuffy, and cycled on and off through the night. Breakfast ok, small dining area for guests.

Good location for walking around & seeing the town. Good central location for road trips. Room was clean & well stocked. Breakfast had a good variety of items.

Our building had parking right underneath the building. It was a quiet neighborhood with quick access to a staircase down the hill leading to the downtown area .

Clean, and breakfast is surprisingly similar with Holiday Inn Express. Good experience with breakfast. The staffs are polite.

The people were very friendly on check in and the breakfast was great, but we didn’t have any hot water for showers. You got about two minutes of hot water and then it went completely cold. We talked to another group and they had the same problem. Not fun at 6am
