Beware, the photos and reviews speak of a breakfast, but I was told that they do not have that at least during the fall in winter months because it is slow. Yet the photos are still there. Reviews talked about work being done in the hallways and stairwells and that is still going on, but apparently progress is very very slow.

Though the room was clean and quiet, the property was dated and there was construction going on as it was off season. The temperature in the room was difficult to control. The thermostat went from 55 to 80F, but once it was set above 65, it went to 80F. Expedia's booking indicated that breakfast was included, but the property changes that amenity with the seasons. This is something Expedia's computers should take into account when you are booking in advance, they should not have picked up the hotel as breakfast included after the close of season date provided by the hotel management.

Staff tried hard but...the heater didnt work in my unit and a few other's (breaker out) so i wore all my clothes and coats to bed ...the water smells and tastes of chlorine (may be a porr angeles thing) and the darn clock tower rings every 30 min...so i woke up eveey 30 minutes. Horid niggts sleep but honestly, they try hard to give you all you need: hair dryer, fridge ,micro, coffee pot there but its an old building and port angles has a LOT of pot smokers so things are falling apart!

The room had a great view of the harbor, spacious and clean, the pillows were rock hard and the bed worn, could feel the mattress springs, parking is a bit tight but many food options were close by. There was a festival going on that weekend so all the hotels were booking at premium rates, the coffee in the room and front office was awful, if not for the view, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for an extended stay.

The view of the port, the ferry, the downtown, and even a peak of ONP were amazing. So was the scary noise made by the elevator! That said, it bills itself as a humble hotel and it exceeded that. I would stay here again.

I hesitate to say the room is dated... as that seems to be the vibe they are trying to preserve; which translates in offering the customer that vintage old town experience. My wife and I thought it was great. Also, compliments to the staff, as the room was super clean and taken care of.

My sister informed me that they received bug bites on her legs, arms, and stomach areas. After seeking medical attention, it was bed bugs. I informed the hotel and received a partial refund for one night. I have advised them that they needed to get professional exterminators to resolve this issue.

The staff were very nice, the first room we were in had a mattress that smelled of vomit and the carpet was so dirty my feet turned black. We were switched to a second room which was better- but they definitely need new mattresses and to have carpets cleaned.

Perfect for an overnight while waiting for my early-morning ferry. My only complaint is that the walls are paper thin and I heard my neighbours cell phone alarm an hour earlier than I was planning to get up. All good as I had to get up anyway and nothing a delicious coffee couldn’t solve! ☀️

Staff were great, helpful and kind. There was no breakfast, apparently I came at the wrong time of year, so watch out for that. Fast internet, which I appreciated for remotely attending my class. The room was small and rather dated, but you can tell they’ve made some attempts to modernize, with usb plugs near the lamps, etc. Nice view of the mountains. The place was very walkable, both to the training facility nearby that I was visiting for, and the main streets down a nearby stairwell on the cliff side. Overall, I wouldn’t object to staying again, but due to the condition of the facilities and sometimes the general vibe of other guests I would probably try to stay at another hotel next time.

This was a lovely unexpected stay in Port Angeles when I missed the ferry to Victoria. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even called me after my stay because I had left an item, and kept it safely for me when I returned.

I was told by the front desk that I didn’t have a reservation, so go to the next door hotel. Evidently, he didn’t even bother to look in the system. The breakfast was horrible since this place only has a few slices of bread and a waffle maker. Only 1 bar soap was provided for two people. This place is way overpriced for its poor quality. Will never ever stay there again.

Staff was helpful. Great bfast spread. Location to frontnstreet was perfect walked to donner. Bathtub was chipped which was no big deal, but water wouldn't drain and shower was low pressure due to more water coming out of the faucet than the actual showerhead. Bed was roomy slept great close to Olympic Park entrance.

We have stayed at the Port Angeles Inn before, and it works well for us as we can walk to the downtown area for meals or coffee and it's very close to the ferry terminal. It's a modest older hotel that provides all of the essentials, and the staff is nice. We weren't able to take advantage of the breakfast that they provide because of needing to catch an early morning ferry.

The front desk staff were wonderful, helpful, and very pleasant. There was no breakfast in April, but they had coffee which was good. Room was clean. Location is great. Unfortunately, they have some undesirable, possibly full time residents, folks who smoke outside the doors, don’t sleep at night but sing, argue and talk to I don’t know who in the parking lot at all hours of the night and early morning. Three of the worst nights sleep between the person below us, the cycling fridge and heater, and the church bells. Won’t stay there again.
