Stayed 1 night

We rented a Queen room for one night. The room was freezing with no way to turn up heat. The front door of the room had no weather striping around it so we could see 1/2" of light all the way around it. We could not double lock the room because someone had ripped off the part on the door where the security chain went. We called management at 11:00 to complain about freezing and the door issue, and he told us we had to "come down to the office to explain what was wrong". I guess $199. for a horrid room isn't enough money for him to come to our room to see the problems..........left in the morning furious. Our room was horrid.

The location was really perfect for getting to the port. And the staff was very helpful and quick check-in. However, the rooms are very outdated, and the beds are like sleeping on concrete. Overall for the amount of money spent on the room for the room itself was overpriced but for the location it was perfect..

This place was so Bad we actually couldn’t stay there. It wasn’t clean. There were gang member signs on the inside of the door. There were marks and door frames were beaten up pretty badly on all doors. The toilet wouldn’t flush and I didn’t feel safe. Only a chain on the door, no deadbolt. The trim everything was beaten up. I actually took pictures they look nothing like what you have on this site. $227 wasted!

Bed was comfortable, room was comfortably warm, and shower worked well. At the same time, the $200 price tag, which was a discount via Hotels.com, was unacceptably high. The shower was missing its sliding door, so there was no way to avoid a large puddle on the floor. The only interaction with staff was at check-in, and he was very pleasant. The only “amenity” was free bottles of water. I realize this was a busy vacation weekend, that places were full, and we waited until last minute to book our lodging, but I would expect that if you are charging that much, the basic maintenance, such as a shower door, would be taken care of! When we travel, our room for the night is to sleep and to shower, we don’t need high priced hotels, we’re not planning to spend time much of our time there. The value here, however, was way below the cost!

The lady at the front desk was nice. She spoke very little English, luckily my traveling partner speaks fluent Spanish. The property is very old, it's obvious that there are permanent residents. It was hard to get the door open, it looked like it had been previously forced open. There are no amenities, no fridge, no microwave, no screen on the windows. We booked a two queen bed room. There was one queen upon entering and another tucked into a small room at the back. Carpet and bathroom was grimy, no toilet paper holder, two unwrapped rolls available. Broken tiles on the bathroom floor. We slept on top of the bed with the sheets, blankets and pillowcases we brought with us. The price should be half (or less) of what we paid. The only amenity is the big screen TV with over 100 channels available.
