We arrived early and the check-in staff was very gracious and helpful with getting us checked into a room and locating our Marriott membership account. The room was very clean and adequately furnished. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable for sleeping and there was no extra blanket. When we asked for one we were brought the thinnest of all blankets - which we had a laugh about. The hotel lobby/bar decor is odd and not very inviting. The food (bar & restaurant) was surprisingly good but the service was inconsistent. All-in-all it was a good stay and we will return.

The front desk service was great, but the bar table service was nonexistent - we had to repeatedly go to the bar to place all of our orders and no one ever came to our table to provide service, even though we were there for a couple of hours. Then they tagged 20% onto our bill for the services we didn’t receive. There were only 3-4 tables occupied, so it certainly wasn’t because they were busy. It cost us over $90 for 4 beers and two sandwiches with fries. The only saving grace was the young lady providing the music, she was very talented.

The on site parking is an issue. We paid for the overnight parking $50 per night, but when you show up to park the parking is very limited. The staff said that there is nothing that they could do, but we could pay an additional $63 a night for valet parking. Part of their parking lot is rented out to another hotel (can not park in these spots), majority is valet parking, and the there are 2 levels approximately 20 spots that are open parking. The entrance to the parking garage is also under construction so only one way in/out.

Parking was expensive ($74/night), and valet took over 20 minutes to retrieve our car. The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in—my back and neck were so out of whack that I needed a massage after my stay. Sleeping was really painful. Everything else, however, was wonderful—beautiful, clean, and very well-kept!

I really liked the room because it was clean and well furnished. I had requested a quiet floor/room and was assigned a room at the end of the hallway and didn't hear any noise from neighbors. The only had two issues while there. I was surprised that the room windows weren't more insulated because up on the 12th floor, I could clearly hear traffic noise. Additionally, out of five elevators, only one was working so there was a wait and the elevator was always packed with people and their luggage.

We were in town for the Apple Cup and a Mariner’s Game. East location to get in and out of. Easy walk to the stadiums, BUT all uphill on the way back just FYI. We were on the freeway side so it was a bit noisy with the traffic but not terrible. Very spacious room and the staff was very friendly. You do have to pay to park which is an extra $50/night.

Zero hand towels in bathroom. Parking $60, which seems excessive…We got 24 hour parking in a nice garage around the corner for $26. Room was clean and good sized. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Lumen Field.

We picked this hotel solely for the somewhat “affordable” parking prices ($60 a night). The hotel doesn’t limit the number of people that can park so when we came back on our second night, the garage was full. We were pushed to use valet but even that was full. We had to park on the street, which thankfully nothing happened to our car, but the stress of that and not knowing if we’d get a parking ticket and being worried we’d have to move it was just too much. We were able to get the second night taken off since we didn’t use the parking garage, but the whole thing was a mess. The hotel was completely sold out because of the concert we were there for and for a cruise that was docked in Seattle. The person we spoke to initially was training and we feel that given how busy the hotel was, they probably shouldn’t have been alone at the desk because we were also given incorrect information about if they could hold our luggage which caused unnecessary worry all night as we had to modify our next day schedule. Luckily it all worked out and in the morning the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I will also said the beds weren’t the most comfortable and the pillows were about as structured and supportive as using a balled up blanket or sweatshirt. I don’t think we would stay here again just given all the factors, but we are glad it all worked out.

Hotel is right off of the freeway so there is the noise. Our room was dusty, remote for tv didn't work and couldn't reach back of wall to unplug the tv to turn it off, tried calling the front desk and room phone didn't work as well.

The room was a good size and mostly clean - there was a dirty sock remaining from the previous customer and one of the tiles in the bathroom fell off as soon as we walked in. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and everything else was great. Decent price too for a downtown hotel.

Our room had old mask and the toilet was dirty. I will not book again. Over all the room was not clean at all. There were dirts from previous customer. I paid high price for dirty room. Came with high expectations because it was first time booking this hotel.

Coffe maker was dirty and hadnt been touched in months given the dust and bad creamers. Lotion in bathroom was obviously used from previous guests as it was dirty with makeup or something. Bathroom curtain had old shampoo on it. Same color as what they provide. Unacceptable for over $300 night. Service was pretty good from staff otherwise.

The bar was good, although it was a very busy night. There was no breakfast service available for me. I understood from my booking tjat breakfast was included They also charged $12.95 for wifi. Any hotel i have been to offers basic wifi for free.

Excellent stay at the Renaissance Seattle. Very clean hotel, and the staff was all exceptionally friendly and helpful! We were offered water every time we were in the lobby. Breakfast was excellent at The Fig and The Judge! Highly recommend! Also, baggage hold was much appreciated for holding our luggage before and after check in to explore the area. The only thing missing would be a pool or hot tub.

I recently stayed at your property, Seattle Renaissance Hotel, on Saturday July 26-27 and I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received during check-in with one on your front desk staff associates. I arrived at 4:13 PM and was told my room was not ready and to wait for a call when I'd be able to come back to the front desk when my room was available. I received that call at 5:13pm and the front desk staff member, a woman, was not only unhelpful, but also downright rude and dismissive when I told her I received a call stating my room was finally ready. I had called the day prior to ensure an early 3pm check in due to the Morgan Wallen concert my girlfriends and I were attending. She was extremely rude and raised her voice when I mentioned the possibility of receiving a discount or partial refund on valet to make up for this inconvenience of having to wait over an hour to check in AND the fact that my room wasn't ready till after 5 PM. She was hostile and acted completely inappropriate when she told me in a scolding manner that I would not be receiving any compensation and seemed bewildered that I would even ask given the circumstances. After our conversation, she slammed my room key on the counter without saying another word. This is not the level of service I expect from a hotel of your reputation.

Property is nice and have stayed several times there. We had to wait 30 min plus on two occasions in one day to get on elevator. Had to take stairs to 15th floor at 1am because elevator just wouldn’t come. Check in took over an hour with more than 100 people lined up in lobby. Overall terrible experience this trip. May look for a new hotel to stay at for our Seattle trips.

Everyone at the hotel, without exception, was very friendly and very helpful. We arrived early and were able to store our bags for a few hours while we went sightseeing. While we were preparing to leave someone at the front desk, even called the taxi service for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was one of the WORST hotel experiences I’ve ever had coming from someone who worked in hotels for 10 years. We checked in at 6pm and our room was still not ready. Mind you, we needed to get ready for a concert and their solution was for us to use their bathroom to get ready in. We get back at like 12:30 in the morning to check-in after the concert and the front desk guy verifies that I need two beds and we go up to the room and it has one bed. We go back down to the front desk and it’s 1 in the morning at this point and when I tell them it only has one bed, he then questions me and asks if I’m sure it only had one bed. Shouldn’t they know which rooms have what type of bed or how many? They then tell me that they’re overbooked and have no rooms with 2 beds which isn’t my fault since I came to check in at 6pm and was told my room wasn’t ready. They offered free breakfast and parking but that doesn’t solve my problem with needing 2 beds. He then talks to his manager and a suite with two beds magically open up. I verified with the front desk guy that it would have 2 beds and he said “you’ll have plenty of space with two beds and the couch pulls out into a bed as well.” Great! Not! We get into the room and it only has one bed again and the sofa doesn’t even pull out into a bed. At this point, everyone is fed up and two people slept on the bed, one slept on the couch and we got a rollaway bed. Please retrain your front desk agents! They should know room types!!

Very small beds. At times only 1 out of 5 elevators working. Weren’t given enough towels. Very loud noise from freeway. Not walkable to pike st market as indicated due to VERY steep hills. Had to take an Uber back every time. Expected better for the price.

The hotel itself, the rooms, the bar, and the restaurant were all top notch. I have to say that downtown Seattle is not very walkable because it is extremely hilly. On a map it’s close to attractions and we had planned to walk everywhere but there was a 90 degree heatwave and the hotel has to be at least 1000ft. higher altitude. Perfect for nearby businesses but not for tourists.

I think the property is fantastic and well designed. The staff was friendly. The food looked fantastic and the bar was fun. Here before a cruise and I would stay again. The rooms are adequate for a stay, weekend or not and I didn’t have one complaint.
