Very clean rooms and hotel. Convenient restaurant and bar on-site. Easy parking. Guest Services could have helped a little more when it came to booking the same room instead of making us move to the exact same kind of room.

I was extremely disappointed with the way my reservation and room at checkin were mishandled. And, to be honest, I have NEVER written a review like this. I think, however, that is important for management and any future guests to know. I called at 3am the morning of my prepaid, non refundable reservation to advise the staff that my wife and I would be arriving close to midnight after performing a wedding and driving 3 hours after that to this location. I was assured the room would be held and available. Upon our arrival at 11:15 pm, I was told the room was NOT available due to the fact that the previous front desk clerk had "given it away." My suggestions for a substitute were rejected. My suggestion for a small Senior discount on an alternative room was rejected. After 20 minutes, an alternative room (handicap accessible) was provided..... (not desired). The room was barely clean. Many coffee spills and other spots from a previous guest were still on the floor (in other words, unmapped). Every item on the "Buffet breakfast" at 8am (except to make a waffle in the waffle maker) was room temperature... and disappointingly quite tasteless. This was our very first visit to this brand hotel. It is highly doubtful we will ever return.
