The elevator doors do not open when arriving at your floor. There's a sign in the room that states something to the effect that sheets and towels will be changed after three days to conserve water, unless otherwise requested. With that being said, they only emptied the trash when cleaning the room...didn't even make the bed. After a day out, I returned to my room to find the door wide open. No staff or housekeeping in sight. I also noticed that the bathroom light was out, and the toilet didn't flush. After calling the front desk, a staff member arrived and apologized (nothing was missing in my room). Finally, the continental breakfast doesn't offer decaffeinated coffee.

Very disappointed in the property. Room was ok at best. Hallways and balance of building were dirty and in need of repair. Exterior was unkept. Parking area was full of potholes. Pool was not available due to terrible condition. Breakfast was a joke. Limited coffee. Packaged sweet rolls was the only offering. This hotel should not be a recommendation.

The property was dumpy. Parking situation was very congested. Trains going by all night. Windows didn’t seal and there was extremely annoying wind noise all night. Issues with wi-fi- never was able to connect. We will definitely NOT stay here again.

This place was absolutely filthy. The halls looked like they haven’t been vacuumed in months. Afraid to walk barefoot in the room. Smelled like pot in the elevator and everywhere. There are 4 great hotels near by spend the excites $30 bucks

Got in late from long drive to find dirty sheets and no toilet paper or facial tissue anywhere in the room. Halls and elevator were very dirty as well. Slept 6 hours and back on the road. Terrible for $176.

I couldn't believe how dirty the rooms were, particularly the carpet. The toilet was in bad shape and they had to move me to another room so I could sleep the last night I was there because it wouldn't stop running. The hair dryer in my room was rattling with something broken inside it and it nearly shocked me. I had to go to the front desk to get another hair dryer and that was an episode in its self. Do not stay at the La Quinta ever in Cheyenne, WY. Expedia should give me a refund immediately

Arrived and the front area was being painted or something so it was tapped off. It was raining and there were puddles everywhere. This property must be very old and the neglect is more than evident. The carpet is filthy. The entire 3rd floor smelled like bacon! Our room carpet is filthy, the bathtub is stained, I had to fix the flapper in the toilet so it would stop running and the TV is old. The mattress is passed it’s expiration date, old saggy and sinks to the middle. I expected much more from a La Quinta

You get what you pay for. Place was filthy both the grounds around hotel and the room was gross. Carpeted floor was damp, so not really sure what was going on there but I wouldn’t recommend walking barefoot in the room. Tub and sink didn’t drain. Accessing room from the side door was like walking through an ashtray (apparently this is the designated smoking area). Would not stay again and would not recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable but the hallways and elevator were filthy. The worst I've ever seen. Clean or replace the filthy carpet for crying out loud. The parking lot had standing water 3 inches deep in some areas too.

I usually like LaQuinta. Not this one. The hallway/main area carpets were absolutely filthy. The room carpet was better, but the room smelled of urine. I would never stay here again.

Old, old property. Almost from a previous era. Our 1 bedroom was huge, but didn’t have central air, but rather two portable A/C units. Not nearly enough outlets. It needs a complete refresh, including paint, furniture, and asphalt in the parking lot. That all said, the staff worked hard, with what they had, to make the stay enjoyable.

The hotel met our expectations- clean room and easy check-in. It was pretty loud throughout the night, but we were also very close to the lobby. The breakfast was very disappointing, there was hardly any food and only coffee available. Overall, it met our needs for our one night stay.

This is an old hotel that is visibly run down and in need of a MAJOR facelift. It is near railroad tracks that are massively noisy all night long. I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. I believe the room was overpriced and lacking basic amenities such as a place near the bed to charge a cell phone. There were no bugs, which is a plus. Two guests were performing major auto repairs in the parking lot outside of my window. The lighting is old and dark in the room. Even the elevator left me feeling as if it were going to fail before reaching the floor. This hotel is below the normal standards of a LA QUINTA.

Was in Cheyenne for CFD! Stay was very nice and comfy! The best part was my daughter left her iPad at the hotel after we checked out. The housekeeper returned it to the front desk and we received a phone call to let us. I can’t thank the housekeeper enough for being honest and the hotel for making sure we got it back.

Front desk service was exceptional!! It is nice to be greeted with warmth! My grandparents ran a mom and pop motel during my childhood, and the greeting I received took me back down memory lane… when people had actual conversations! It was a breath of fresh air!!!

The final bill was a mess. I have no idea what I was charged. They gave me the key to a room that had someone in it. We walked in on a person in bed. I put a chair up against the door to secure it for the night. Not a well run place. Couldn’t wait To leave.

Service at the front desk was amazing. But the amazing-ness ended there. I was booked into a room that was not cleaned. Clerk was apologetic and eager to get me into another room. Bed was horrible in the new room, air did not work, but i was exhausted and didn't care at that point. Won't be staying again.

Booked on expedia pre paid and upon checkout i got billed again!! Told the clerk was prepaid but charged me anyway. Now will have to spend time on the phone to correct the situation. Upon check in, was noted by staff that was a prepay but next morning staff still charged me after explaining that it was prepaid. Amount was higher incidentally. Don’t get ground floor in the winter as tile floor is very cold. Room was very clean and quiet except door to outside really slammed hard.

There were so many reasons we were displeased: the room smelled like smoke, the floor was sticky, the sink didn’t drain, the breakfast was so poor and was out of many things. Our bedding had a pink stain on it (don’t even want to think of what left that stain.) The property was located off the interstate so it was very convenient, but it was located next to a boarded up property and seemed very sketchy. It was the worst night sleep I have ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to stay in.

Mixed. Was disappointed there was no refrigerator. Room was good. Front desk service was good. Breakfast was a let down. Cereal, waffles and juice is all that was available. No protein. Apparently ran out of eggs before I showed up. Was never refilled in the 45 min I was in the eating area.

We had planned our trip based on a continental breakfast and it was advertised as having one we asked about the time when arriving late and so was quite unaware of what was going to happen in the morning. No breakfast there was coffee and juice and nothing more. The clerk explained that they had no supplies and that this was a regular occurrence. He also went on to say that the kitchen was under renovations. The accommodation was very close to the rail line which had 4 or 5 trains pass at 4 in the morning. I will do better research the next time.

It was a good stay. The dining area was very small & compacted which made it difficult to benefit from their breakfast due to too many people & no seating. In addition, Staff was rushing to replenish coffee, food, plates as well.

The beds are SO comfy! The shower head was good and strong! The room had a small fridge & microwave. LOVE the Dove products they supply! The staff were SO nice & friendly. The breakfast was PLENTIFUL! Eggs, bagels, waffles, cereal, bacon & of course coffee & tea. I would stay here again!
