1950's resort and conference center that is in great shape. On-site restaurant, coffee and pastry shop, bar, pool, 18 hole golf course and gift shop. Rooms are up-dated. Our room came with a steamer instead of the traditional ironing board and iron. The restaurant's dinner options run from salads to burgers and sandwiches to the typical dinner entrees found in other restaurants. I opted for a burger and sweet potato fries. They were delicious. The menu is geared to adult tastes and I'm not aware if there's a children's menu. Fortunately other more family friendly options are close by We were impressed and as we travel by this area at least once a year, we will be sure to spend the night again.

We were surprised about how big the property was. The decor was nicely done. We ate at the restaurant and had the best service. The food was delicious! We had a poolside room and it was very inviting. The balconies were a nice surprise.

There is a gift store, a cafe, and a restaurant in the main building. All of the rooms have a patio of some sort with chairs and a small table. It is lodges with rooma with outdoor access. The pool is massive and goes up to 12ft deep! It reminded us of a community. The only thing we didn't realize when we booked is there is no free breakfast, you go eat at the restaurant or go out.

For those unfamiliar with Little America Cheyenne - it has a beautiful main building with convention space and restaurants. The hotel rooms are generously sized, and located in five separate 2-story buildings, only one of which has an elevator. If you have lots of luggage or mobility issues, make sure to ask for the elevator building or a room on the first floor.

We arrived early and had to wait for checkin. The Staff gave us access for the swimming pool at the swimming pool there is no way you can dress and there are no towels, so swimming pool was no option. A resort should have these amenities in order. Also there very little to do at the resort and the coffeeshop was closed. We left without checking in. Not resort worthy…

This place has a Country Club atmosphere with rich Western decor. The outdoor pool is big and beautiful. The room was large and very comfortable. The lobby, lounge, bar and restaurant give you that lush feeling of exclusive privilege with out paying exclusive price. I didn’t get a chance to play the attached golf course, but I’m sure it is first class.

Was short but very nice stay. Beautiful grounds and clean, spacious rooms. Was too cold to go in the pool but looked really nice. Had a very nice breakfast. Great value for the price when we were there in the off season (October)

Checkin was great! Front desk staff was really friendly and helpful. Room was large and beds were comfy. The only thing that is preventing us from returning is the cleanliness of our bathroom. Around the shower ledge area it had a few stray hairs and outside the shower ledge area was dusty dirty. There is a cabinet under the sink and unfortunately the previous guest left us some trash and dirty wet towels under there...GROSS! If our bathroom hadn't had these issues then I would for sure return. It left us wondering what else wasn't as clean as it appeared!

Spacious room and comfortable bed, plus it was nice and quiet for a good night’s sleep. We only stayed one night and didn’t use the facilities. Cleanliness could be improved, especially in the corridors, and the bathroom is a bit dated with visible signs of wear.

The check in was great. Finding my room in the dark was a bit difficult. The bathroom sinks area were not clean and the floor had not been mopped. I could see pee drops on the floor from previous visitors. There was a water line break, so we went a full day without any water, no shower, no toilets etc. The hotel offered zero compensation for the inconvenience.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean on the floor, but everything else was clean. It looked like maybe a sponge mop was used and dirty water was left on the floor. Not something I would walk barefoot on.

I did ask for a receipt after checking in and was told that I couldn't get a paid receipt. Weird. Outside grounds are beautiful. The rooms are really dated!!! I thought we had gone back to the 1970's.

What a cute spot! The main lodge is beautiful with excellent service, a gift shop, and dining. Our room was clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the playground and pool area. Parking was easy and close to our room. (Note, no elevators for the 2nd floor).

Our room at Little America was huge - they upgraded us to a suite. While the hotel is showing its age a little, they do a good job of keeping things up. The Western decor is nice, especially in common areas. Our room was clean, but walls are a little thin. There's a very good restaurant and bar on-site. Staff were professional and friendly.

I paid for two nights. Couldn't travel and missed my first night. Made it for my second night. Arrived to NO ROOM! They had taken it upon themselves to cancel my entire PAID reservation with no communication with me, and left me without a room because they were booked solid. I had to go elsewhere and spend 3x the amount, and Uber back and forth to Little America for the convention. Very inconvenient. Very poor customer service. Very morally wrong to resell what they'd already been paid for without any communication with me. All in all, they cost my family and I over $200 that we weren't planning on. The manager was flippant about the policy. Offered to refund the night (which would take about a week to get back to my account). Wouldn't bump anyone else to provide us a room, although it was fine to bump us and resell our room.

The hotel was really nice but the service was not good at all. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the property was really great. However, they didn’t tell us that we had to request daily cleaning if we wanted to and the restaurant service was not good. We had a breakfast and 2 dinners where for 1 we waited for more that an 1 h with an next to empty restaurant. When we asked how long did it take, they said they didn’t know and the food was mediocre.

We were just passing thru the night from our roadtrip and found this gem. The area was quiet, comfortable stay and good customer service. I had billing transaction issues a month later( technical problem) and their customer service/front desk team were excellent in handling it. Thank you again.

Would be 5 stars! It is a 4 1/2 star review. I everything was great, but we got no clean towels, trash removal or any other housekeeping services. When I asked about it on check out they said we needed to call the night before and set this up. We were never told this!! Not a huge deal, but a little weird.

Booked through hotel.com and they didn't send reservation to hotel. We waited 2 hours for a return phone call from hotels.com customer Service... they end up canceling our reservation and refunding us. we book directly with the hotel. Reservation desk was so accommodating... gave us a free ice cream cone for our troubles. I will never use hotels.com again as this the second time this has happened to us. .

The inside of our room desperately needed to be updated. Though clean, everything was old and outdated. There was a leak in the bathroom, so there was a puddle on the floor there. We told the clerk. The area around it was fine, but it was VERY confusing as to whether we were in the correct place. Our GPS did not take us to the actual facility. The hotel personnel were very nice and professional.

Right near I80. Nicely landscaped grounds. Great for a mini vacation with very nice pool and 9 hole golf. Beautiful reception area and quality gift shop. Room was spacious with comfortable bed and quality towels. Definitely would stay again.

Though the property is nice and the staff at both the restaurant and hotel are pleasant we did have some issues. One of the issues was with the hotel. The top sheet of the bed had blood stains on it. You could tell the sheet had been washed so there was no chance of contamination but it was still a stained sheet. Secondly, on the night we had dinner at the restaurant, it took well over an hour to receive our food after we placed our order. We kept asking about it and the wait staff said, they were working on it. When we finally received the food, it was good.

Convenient place to stop on the way from Denver to Custer. Rooms were spacious and clean. Gym was small but adequate. Bar was nice for a drink, but the food at the restaurant for dinner was below average, I had the salmon and my husband the meatloaf and both were not very tasty.

The room was ok. Clean. What you would expect from a slightly above average room. The people who worked at the property were warm and friendly. Just don’t eat at the restaurant. The food was almost inedible. The bread was stale (and we asked twice). The Chicken Caesar had no chicken, the wedge salad was devoid of everything except the lettuce. (We had to ask for chicken & dressing). The Bison meatloaf was cloyingly sweet. At that point we kinda gave up and picked at our food. (I didn’t try my friend’s duck because she was picking at it) $150!for dinner (5 people) and nobody actually ate. My husband checked out the breakfast but decided we should go elsewhere. We will try another place next time we are in town.

We have stayed at Little America multiple times in Salt Lake City, and the facility in Cheyenne was just as great! The one thing that we didn’t like was the hotel restaurant. It was very expensive and the main entree was pretty bad. When we complained we weren’t really given any options to resolve it. There are other places to eat a few minutes away…go off site instead to find a great place in historic downtown Cheyenne.

Charming old school western Americana resort; bit of a throwback in a nice way. Staff all very friendly and accommodating. Only caveat, the "avocado toast" at breakfast was very sad no effort attempted. Diced up pale tomato with few pale slices of avocado on dry barely toasted bread with overcooked eggs on top. Took two tiny bites wasn't worth it. Server was nice but she should have asked about it, offered an alternative etc. Our other breakfast items were fine.
