Es un hotel familiar con un ambiente tranquilo para divertirse y descansar en familia. La limpieza en general es buena, la playa impecable y me encanta que el área de alimentos está confinada, es decir, no puedes andar comiendo por la alberca y otros espacios. Siento que le falta un poco de mantenimiento (la pintura, salas de estar, baños piscina). En nuestra habitación a pesar de estar limpia salió una cucaracha y había detalles de limpieza en la regadera. El personal en general muy amable salvo algún mesero y barman. En más de una ocasión se les agotó el Bacardi blanco y la escusa resulta inaceptable pues en un todo incluido, has pagado por las bebidas y alimentos que corresponden. Por último, lo visité hace años cuando no era de la cadena de hyatt y me gustaba más. Ahora el personal encargado de vender el programa de lealtad resulta molesto, te atosigan y persiguen. La política de check out tardío ha cambiado de forma poco favorable al huésped. En general Ixtapa es un super lugar para pasar el invierno con un clima envidiable y una limpieza en las playas que destaca.

Sin embargo, durante mi estadía, había mucha gente y el personal parecía insuficiente para atender a todos adecuadamente. Además, el área de albercas estaba muy saturada. En cuanto al edificio, necesita mucho mantenimiento. Uno de los salones habilitados como restaurante tenía la alfombra muy sucia. Los elevadores son lentos y se ven muy deteriorados. Los vidrios de las áreas comunes también estaban sucios. Estos son detalles que no cuestan mucho dinero arreglar, pero que afectan significativamente la experiencia del huésped.

El hotel está bien, muy bonito y la comida muy rica, lo que no me gustó es que la alberca para niños la abren hasta las 10am y la cierran temprano a las 6pm es muy poco tiempo para los niños, al menos en mi cuarto no había plancha

En general es bueno, las áreas limpias, las habitaciones son cómodas solo con algunos detalles de falta de mantenimiento, el acceso a la playa es muy cómodo y las albercas limpias, el personal se esmera en una buena atención. Los detalles en contra, si es temporada alta hay que hacer fila en los comedores, particularmente para desayunar en el buffet, la comida cumple, sin llegar a ser muy buena, el restaurante italiano es rico, pero la carta es muy limitada. Lo peor, el horario de las actividades, a las 5:00pm ya no hay actividades de juegos, tenis, etc. ya que a esa hora se van los animadores, la alberca la cierran a las 7:00pm, por lo cual después de ese horario no hay mucho que hacer para niños y jovenes. Para adultos solo el Bar.

El lugar tiene varios años de construido y se nota en las instalaciones y cuartos, necesita una renovacion, contactos fallidos y muy pocos, cortinas viejas, sin detalles para el cliente, y lo mas absurdo si quieres wifi en el cuarto hay q pagar extra!!! Si no ha sido por el personal q se desvive en darte buen servicio, tal vez veria otra opcion.

This resort is in a perfect location. Easy quick walk to shopping, other restaurants, groceries. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The SunClub is a nice touch for selective drinks, snacks and seating. Raymundo and Simon at the swim up bar are the very best. Lots of activities and entertainment if you chose.

The restaurants are not staffed to properly accommodate the volume of guests. The pool was dirty and the floor of the pool was damaged in several areas. Many wanted to play water vollyball but the balls were waterlogged and extremely heavy. For a large resort to NOT replace a $10 volleyball is a bad look. The maid staff was very friendly, and hard working. The restaurant servers and the food truck employees were doing the jobs of two people, which made service very poor. The food quality is a bit less than average, The bell hops, and doormen were great. The servers working the coffee bar/snack stand were all very nice. The property needs to be refurbished, the only redeeming quality is the hard working staff. The concierge was excellent!

Poor maintenance of the building as same quality of food plus rude employees very disappointed with their attitude bad food and drinks. All the equipment in the pool area very poor condition. Same in the rooms bath towels disgusting. Over price to get that kind of service.

Muy poca variedad en alimentos y en la cena de año nuevo se escuchaba más la música del hotel de a lado, la separación que hay en el baño con la habitación muy mala, nuestra reserva era para 4 personas y nos ponían 3 toallas, teníamos que llamar y solicitar una.

El lugar tiene varios años de construido y se nota en las instalaciones y cuartos, necesita una renovacion, contactos fallidos y muy pocos, cortinas viejas, sin detalles para el cliente, y lo mas absurdo si quieres wifi en el cuarto hay q pagar extra!!! La estancia estuvo muy bien todos muy amables , la comida y bebidas muy bien, instalaciones bien. Lo único malo es que tratan de venderte membresias y te hostigan demasiado. También nos tocó boda dos noches y no pudimos dormir nada por la música deberían de respetar a los demás huéspedes , si vienes a descansar asegúrate que no haya boda. La limpieza de áreas públicas no era muy buena. De ahí en fuera lo demás muy bien

Ha sido la tercera ocasión que usamos está propiedad, y siento que algo cambio respecto a la última visita, la red wifi no era buena, los alimentos muy repetitivos, el personal muy amable pero hubo dos días que estuvieron muy saturados y no se acercaban en ningún momento a nuestras mesas a ofrecer bebidas, pero lo que si estuvo fatal fueron las camas de una de las dos habitaciones que usamos, los colchones en mal estado y para querer "arreglar" pusieron dos pedazos de esponja que lo único que hacía es que se hundiera la cama. Ojalá arreglen estos detalles. Y bueno, mi reconocimiento para el concierge Cristopher que me ayudó a resolver algunos detalles al momento de mi registro.

En general nuestra estadia estuvo muy bien, solo a mi consideración 3 puntos a considerar el 1ro es desde que llegas te empiezan a hostigar sobre tomar una platica para hacerte socio y pareciera que te andan cazando para que asistas, lo mejor es decir que no manejas tarjetas de credito para que te dejen de molestar con eso, lo 2do es que hay muy poco personal en los restaurantes, los meseros te tratan muy bien pero el servicio es muy lento y mas si es a la carta hasta casi 40min de espera después de haber ordenado los alimentos y lo 3ero la chica que atiende la cafetería durante el día te trata como si le estuvieras pidiendo regalado, de mal modo, no te quiere explicar nada y te entrega las cosas a fuerzas... de ahi en fuera todo muy limpio, personal amable, bebidas, habitaciones comodas.

Durante mi estancia de una semana, contraté el servicio VIP, por lo que esperaba una experiencia de mayor calidad. This resort is in a perfect location. Easy quick walk to shopping, other restaurants, groceries. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The SunClub is a nice touch for selective drinks, snacks and seating. Raymundo and Simon at the swim up bar are the very best. Lots of activities and entertainment if you chose.

The resort had great staff!!! The staff was very attentive as soon as we stepped out of the taxi we were greeted by Richie after that we check in with Karla in the VIP area as Expedia customers we had exceptional service. Our concierge Oswaldo Diaz gave us excellent service and arranged a romantic dinner for us on the beach. We celebrated 30 years of marriage. We had our own personal waiter (Margarito) for two hours on the beach. He was wonderful and made us feel very comfortable. We ate at Da’ Mario two nights we had one of the best waiters Jose Luis Rogar. He went beyond and above from start to end. All the staff were friendly and attentive.

Upon arrival you are greeted with smiles and helpful staff to gather luggage and help you to check you in. English speaking friendly staff in the front of the hotel. Unfortunately you are then inundated with staff required to offer you specials and deals they offer through the hotel, and do not take “no” for an answer easily. Throughout the rest of your stay anytime you walk through the front to the elevator to get to your room, you will be offered deals and promotions. This gets very tiresome over a weeks time. The hotel itself is dated and was constantly being under repair in various spaces throughout the hallways and ceilings. The amazing part about this hotel is the staff and food. I am vegan and was worried about not having choices during my weeks stay, But I had nothing to worry about. The chefs prepared special breakfast, and dinners for me everyday upon request. The food was always fresh and delicious. Served with love and care. The staff there was amazing and I’d love to give a shout out to the people who made an impact during our stay. Al llegar recibimos una agradable bienvenida. Y al principio de nuestra estancia todo fue agradable. En cuanto a los meseros de la alberca, estos hacen una gran distincion entre los extranjeros y los nacionales, ya que pareciera que solo ellos existieran porque solo a ellos atendian. En cuanto a otro personal del hotel, pareciera que nos estaban cazando para vendernos su membresia, una vez que aceptamos dicha cita y nos hablaron, estaban casi sobre nosotros para que la adquirieramos. Creo que solo cambiaria esos detalles. De ahi en fuera el hotel es bueno, bonito y tiene un ambiente completamente familiar.

The property is central and even distance between ZUI and Playa Linda, both of which I like to go when I stay. You can walk across the street for shopping, music and food. The options are great. The transportation is wonderful. So easy to take the bus, taxi or walk. People, staff and locals alike were very nice and willing to help. I would recommend staying.

This is our 3rd time to this exact resort and we love it. Safe and can cross street into downtown to visit other entertainment establishments (Frank's Bar, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. Resort is clean and secure. Walks on the beach are fanastic. Our favorite is they just installed 4 pickleball courts and have one tennis court. Great resort and we will go back next year!

The property was nice the staff was great! Some areas from the outside needed some touch up. With all honesty I did not like the food at all, it was so bland I was expecting Mexican food but it was nothing like I expected it.

En general es bueno, las áreas limpias, las habitaciones son cómodas solo con algunos detalles de falta de mantenimiento, el acceso a la playa es muy cómodo y las albercas limpias, el personal se esmera en una buena atención. Los detalles en contra, si es temporada alta hay que hacer fila en los comedores, particularmente para desayunar en el buffet, la comida cumple, sin llegar a ser muy buena, el restaurante italiano es rico, pero la carta es muy limitada. Lo peor, el horario de las actividades, a las 5:00pm ya no hay actividades de juegos, tenis, etc. ya que a esa hora se van los animadores, la alberca la cierran a las 7:00pm, por lo cual después de ese horario no hay mucho que hacer para niños y jovenes. Para adultos solo el Bar.

Un all inclusive promedio, la propiedad en sí ya es vieja pero se ve que han tratado de renovarla en lo posible. En cuanto a servicio hay miembros del staff muy amables otros dejan mucho que desear. Por ejemplo, las chicas del Kids Explore son súper atentas y están al pendiente, igual que las hostess del desayuno, pero los meseros y la supervisora de la tienda fatal. La comida no es buena pero me gustó que el ambiente fue muy familiar y los niños van primero siempre. No se puede fumar en la propiedad, lo cual me pareció muy atinado por el tema de los niños.

El personal fue amable, se encontraba limpio y en buenas condiciones, la comida tmb estaba agradable no tiene mucha variedad, pero es bueno, las bebidas no eran del todo buenas, si ibas a la barra directamente eran un poco mejor preparadas que cuando las llevaba el mesero, no tienen variedad de bebidas.

Ha sido la tercera ocasión que usamos está propiedad, y siento que algo cambio respecto a la última visita, la red wifi no era buena, los alimentos muy repetitivos, el personal muy amable pero hubo dos días que estuvieron muy saturados y no se acercaban en ningún momento a nuestras mesas a ofrecer bebidas, pero lo que si estuvo fatal fueron las camas de una de las dos habitaciones que usamos, los colchones en mal estado y para querer "arreglar" pusieron dos pedazos de esponja que lo único que hacía es que se hundiera la cama. Ojalá arreglen estos detalles. Y bueno, mi reconocimiento para el concierge Cristopher que me ayudó a resolver algunos detalles al momento de mi registro.

I would gladly and without hesitation stay here again and again.

We had an amazing stay at Sunscape Hotel in Ixtapa! The service throughout the resort was excellent, and the staff truly made our vacation special. A huge thank you to the bartenders Roberto and Christian for always being friendly, welcoming, and making great drinks with a positive attitude every day. Rene was also incredibly helpful and made sure we were taken care of during our stay. We also want to recognize Josue and Adilene, who were both outstanding servers. They were attentive, kind, hardworking, and always made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Their customer service went above and beyond and really made a difference in our experience. The resort atmosphere was relaxing, the staff was professional and caring, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely recommend Sunscape Hotel in Ixtapa to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

The music on the grass was very loud and made it hard to sleep. The only thing that was worse was a night with a wedding on the beach. At 12:00am I finally called the front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Even though it was a Hyatt event.
