Enjoyed the fact that this truly an all inclusive resort. They had activities included! My favorite was the bike ride through the national park. The staff were all very kind and attentive. The shows at night were also great and different every night. Really enjoyed my stay!

The rooms were beautiful. The property was very clean. Lots of activities, great for kids. Access so close for Ixtapa Island. The only thing we did not like was the pool deck and the stairs are really slippery, every day we saw someone slip and fall that were just walking. Other than that we would definitely go back.

No hay aire acondicionado en elevadores, area de juegos y algunos restaurantes solo contaban con ventiladores por lo que el calor en estas areas es tremendo, el gimnasio deja muchisimo que desear y la informacion oara acceder a las actividades es cruzada asi es que no pudimos incorporarnos a ellas, las habitaciones son comodas y limpias, el area de albercas esta muy bien aunque algunos camastros ya gritan jubilame, la atencion es buena, todos son muy amables, la playa es muy pequeña y estaba algo sucia, hace falta que le den mantenimiento mas seguido.

Es un hotel excelente para visitar en familia, el personal en general es muy amable, me gustó que en los shows nocturnos al final incluyeron al público, mi única queja seria que dicen tener paseo en kayak y velero y al momento de reservar nos dijeron que no estaban disponibles por mejoras, es bueno hacer mejoras pero deben dejar de anunciar un servicio que por el momento no tienen disponible ya que fue una de las razones que más nos llamó la atención para reservar en este hotel. La comida un poco repetitiva pero de buen sabor, en general lo recomiendo y claro que volvería!

Muy buen lugar para hospedarse y no tener que salir de las instalaciones, hay de todo... la comida buena, siempre hay lugar en los restaurantes que siempre están con excelente servicio y comida. El lugar es muy grande y cómodo. Tienen un show por las noches que es muy bueno, entretenido y profesional

Le hacen falta a todos sus restaurantes menus para niños. Es un hotel que se caracteriza por su área EXTRAORDINARIA infantil en la albercas y no tengan Menus infantiles a la hora de comer más que pizza y hamburguesa hotdogs. Le falta mantenimiento a la albercas. Falta atencion y servicio por parte del personal de recepción y check-out. Las toallas de la alberca huelen a humedad. Sin ventilación en las áreas comunes internas (mil calor, te sofocas). El servicio de limpieza en las habitaciones comienza hasta las 2pm. No hay servicio en la playa de nada( comida bebida etc). Desangelada. No hay indicaciones para el uso total de ls instalaciones. No regreso, pero ya no le platican de su area Infantil. La mejor despues del Crown Paradose de Cancun.

Las cortinas de la habitación 2110, jamás fueron a cambiarlas, no cerraban y viejas. Las toallas de alberca del hotel sucias y apestosas. Luz la que las daba una grosera. Bajó muchísimo el precio calidad. Fue horrible convivir con gente de Michosca

El hotel es muy bonito. Las instalaciones, aunque se ven de los 90s, son muy limpias, super bien cuidadas. El personal muy amable, la comida muy rica y la playa tranquila y con salvavidas super atentos.

Long wait to check in. I had booked 1 king size and got a room with 2 beds. My room did not include the WiFi and employees did not provided when I call reception. For dinner, if we wanted to go we had to book 24 hrs in advanced, sucks!! I was there to celebrate my birthday and with all craps they made me had a terrible birthday. Their drinks are terrible they have all the cheap tequilas and beer. For snacks they only got pizza and burgers (terrible). Anyways! First and last time. If you are looking for quality in food, drinks and a good place to stay, definitely this is not the place.

This place was not at all what we where expecting, our room was pretty run down and air conditioning didn’t really work and the room smelled like mold . As if that wasn’t bad enough the food in the buffets was not appetizing at all not all of it was bad but it was not good either. We didn’t try the restaurants because you need a reservation. And the only reservations they had was really early or super late so we couldn’t do that but we heard from a couple of friends that the food there was pretty good. The karaoke area was cool but the staff in charge of music was extremely RUDE Drinks where fine we pretty much stuck to beer the whole time . When you get your towels for the pool they mark them down to your room number and you loose then they charge you so make sure you keep a close eye on them ours almost didn’t make it back . Also make sure you ask them not to clean your room ,they clean ours when we where out but when I got back I notice money missing from my purse be careful. I will definitely not be going back to this Hotel !

The Azul Ixtapa is a nice property and the rooms are nice. The pools are great. The food is pretty good, not great. However, the beach is very disappointing. The sand is muddy and the water is murky and not clear

Staff was very nice and food had good flavor. The property does need up keeping. Adult pool cement rock falling apart and broken. Definitely need’s repairing. Rooms did not have a mini fridge or coffee maker. No place to keep cold waters. Drinks were not provided in room. It was also very hard to get drinks at the swim up bar. Bartenders wouldn’t acknowledge you.

El personal de lobby para el check in pésimo no tenían mi habitación lista y eran las 5 pm. Nadie te da la bienvenida, no informan de las amenidades que tiene el hotel mucho menos de las reservaciones para las cenas en restaurantes que no pudimos ir por que tenían fecha hasta un día después de nuestra salida. No lo recomendaría

Overall I had a great time on trip. The wait staff throughout the whole stay was by far the best part of the stay. 100% super friendly, attentive, and especially one man Santos by the pool went above and beyond. H huh y were ñpfs

Llegué al hotel con mi familia y en la recepción me indican que no tengo reservación en ese hotel (Azul Ixtapa Resort(, que tal vez en el otro hotel (Azul Ixtapa Grand). LLego al "Grand" y me indican que mi reservación era en el otro hotel. Acabé pagando una tarifa mayor a la que tenía contratada para poder hospedarme con la familia (3 habitaciones). Después de hacer el reclamo, hasta el momento nadie de los hoteles se ha comunicado conmigo para disculparse por la ineptitud de su personal en el Check Inn.

El servicio por parte de personal fue muy malo, nos tuvieron aproximadamente 4 horas en recepción, nos pidieron la CURP de los niños lo que provocó mucha molestia sobre todo a los niños que iban cansados por el viaje, nos cobraron de más por cada niño argumentando que un niño apartir de 12 años lo consideran adulto y tuve que pagar tarifa de adulto , cuando yo hice la reservación se considera menor hasta los 17 años , nos retuvieron en la sala de espera por mucho tiempo tratando de aclarar esta situación lo que nos provocó muchos problemas a todos , éramos un grupo de 24 personas niños y adultos, en general una muy mala experiencia por parte del personal que no tuvo ni la capacidad ni la sensibilidad para con nosotros que al final terminanos pagando tarifa de adulto por los niños , en términos generales , PÉSIMAS PERSONAS Y PÉSIMO SERVICIO

The staff was excellent. Yaneli at Oyster Bar went out of her way to ensure our dinner experience was great. Miguel, Bryan, Rafael, and Roger and the cooks at Colores were friendly and attentive excellent service. Nayeli at the archery range was excellent as well. She made it fun and safe. Kudos to all the staff they made it a wonderful stay.

The rooms were beautiful. The property was very clean. Lots of activities, great for kids. Access so close for Ixtapa Island. The only thing we did not like was the pool deck and the stairs are really slippery, every day we saw someone slip and fall that were just walking. Other than that we would definitely go back.

Beautiful resort, however I would not go back, the breakfast buffet was excellent but dinners were poor quality. The staff were lovely and kind but very little English speaking. Location was beautiful but far from any attractions.

En general estoy muy satisfecha con mi estancia en este hotel, sólo quiero dar mi opinión sobre la comida en el restaurante Colores y es que es malísima, tanto el desayuno como la cena, la comida es mala, sin sabor, sin variedad. El restaurante de especialidad Oyster me encantó y me arrepentí de no haber reservado otra noche ahí... la comida es muy buena, la vista inmejorable, la atención excelente; quedé encantada también con la cafetería, los postres y latte's que sirven buenísimo, la comida en el restaurante de snacks es la mejor que he probado de los varios hoteles en Ixtapa que me he hospedado. La habitación excelente, incluso con el aire acondicionado apagado, jamás se sintió húmeda ni calurosa. El único punto malo es para Colores, fatal de verdad.

I will not recommend this property as there is no free wifi in the rooms you have to pay for it & also for room service you have to pay.... there is no drinks in your room you have to pay for that also....food quality is not good too & also for dinner reservation you have to book in one day in advance

Casi todo estuvo excelente: el sazón de las comidas, las actividades (especialmente las de los niños), etc. Lo que no me gustó fue que para entrar se tardaron lo que quisieron pues me entregaron la habitación a las 4:30 y sólo porque me enojé puesto que ya había dado 2 vueltas a ver si ya estaba lista. Sin embargo,a la slida pedía salir un poco más tarde y se negaron rotundamente. El restaurante Oyster bar nos gustó mucho y no así el Costa Azul.

The room, grounds and amenities were all clean and well maintained. The service and staff outside of the front desk were all amazing. We found the people working the front desk to be a little rude and unhelpful. Maybe this was because I do not speak fluent spanish.

The hotel overall was okay. The food and drinks were okay as well nothing special. We arrived around 5pm and could not find food because the restaurants were closed and wouldn’t be open till dinner so the only thing that was left was the lunch buffet by the pool. Stale fries and only 3 hamburgers left. We were a group of 12 and the employees seemed annoyed that we were such a big group. It’s also a very small seating area so we had to stand while we ate because we were not allowed to take our food to the lounge chairs next to the pool. This was the first hotel that I’ve stayed at where you can’t order food while hanging out at the lounge chairs.
