Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa

The staff was very helpful nice

Was put in a room a long walk away from reception (short drive) which was particularly close to the loud highway. On top of that the walls seem paper thin and I had a very loud snorer on the other side of the wall. Add this to all these fine print charges like a $35 daily resort fee for things I will never use (other than internet that is a given at any hotel) , $20 p/n parking fee on this massive property with parks everywhere and many other charges it all added up to a particularly distasteful stay which I am not used to being. Hyatt Gold Passport member . Needless to say I thought it was poor value and I will not stay again on my next year’s trip to Monterey.

The location offers great privacy. The lobby, bar, coffee shop, and pool area excellent. The buffet was great but you'll have to pay extra for omelets or other specialty dishes. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Great location and staff was great. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. Definitely would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Amazin grounds, playing area for kids. Great for families. Very decent breakfast.
