We stayed at Ocean Star Inn a couple times when we were in Sequim, and both times have been incredible! The room is spacious, and its dog friendly. They do have a separate section for dog friendly rooms. The check-in was fast and easy. The room is clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. It’s very quiet, and we felt safe being there. There are plenty of parking spots and areas to walk dogs. Price was good for what is offered. Will definitely stay here again.

Other than no elevators everything was very good. The breakfast was excellent, the best free breakfast we have had on our trip (we are on day 8!) The lobby person even offered to help get the luggage to the 2nd floor for us so that was not a deal. clean and quiet room !! We'd recommend it to anyone traveling near this town!!!

Staff was friendly and polite. No elevator but staff carried our bags up and back down for us. We are 73 years old and there was no elevator. Rooms were fine. Glad they served breakfast!

Easy to find, park, and choices for where to enjoy dinner walking distance away. It was super clean, friendly, and the breakfast was generous and the coffee delicious and hot. They even had a mini golf at the side for guests. Rey cute and in good repair and ready to play! Our family of 4 with 2 teens had a great night.

Room was not clean at all. Never seen so much hair in a room. Room is old and requires refurbishment. Also the hotel felt in general aged and smelled strangly. Towels were terrible, did not dry body, it felt like dispensing the water on the body. Overall, I strongly recommend to modernize the rooms and put an emphasis on cleaning.

For a motel this place was really awesome! Very friendly check in and attention paid to lots of details. Great breakfast included (similar or better than chain hotels). Our room was the deluxe queen and it was very spacious and roomy.pod coffee maker in room with fridge and microwave. If you need a comfy room at a good price- this is it!

We were doing a quick 3 day tour through Olympic National Park. Most of the places in Port Angeles that were acceptable were already booked, so we checked Sequim and found the Ocean Star Inn. Check in was quick and easy. We were booked into a second floor unit, but when the desk clerk noticed our luggage, he offered to move us to a first floor room. The bed was average, the blackout curtains worked very well. The air conditioner was loud and it was hard to get the room to stay at a comfortable temperature. It tended to be either too cold or too warm. Parking was sufficient even though the motel was fully booked. The internet stopped working a few hours after our arrival. This was an issue, because the TV depends on the internet for everything, including local channels. The desk clerk gave me the password for the staff WiFi. I was able to reset the TV to use the staff WiFi, but anyone with lesser technical skills would most likely be unable to do so. I did notice that the guest internet was working again on the morning we checked out. The Sequim location does add about 20 minutes to the time it takes to get to Olympic National Park sites as compared to Port Angeles, but there were various supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. The cheapest gas around, by the way, is right across the street at the supermarket.

There was a good selection of breakfast choices, and the coffee was very good. The bed was comfortable. Its location is convenient and there wasn't traffic noise at night. The negative is you can hear the occupants in the other rooms. The first morning there were early risers (5:30 AM) and it sounded as if they were standing in our room talking. It seems there is no sound proofing installation.

Thanksgiving to visit family. We traveled with our dog and we were put in one of the dog rooms on the first floor. It's was spacious, clean and had hardwood floors. It was quiet and we felt safe. Towels were good. Bed was comfortable. TV and internet worked great. I'm a photographer and was working on a wedding and had no issues uploading large files for my client. Would stay here again! Staff was super nice. We worth the price we paid to stay for 2 nights ❤️

The bed was amazing! The room (except the Tub) was updated and comfortable. People above me a tad loud - but nothing that ear plugs for sleeping (which I take everywere anyways) couldn't fix. BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME!. Excellent value for price in the area.

I was really impressed by my experience at Ocean Star Inn. The young lady who checked us in went out of her way to be friendly and make sure we were comfortable in our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable - it had clearly been renovated in the not too distant past. The bed was comfier than my bed at home and the sheets were butter soft and immaculately clean. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. The continental breakfast was generous and high quality. Plus there was a little mini golf course attached! It was very apparent that someone really cared about and took pride in making Ocean Star Inn a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I will go out of my way to stay at Ocean Star Inn again if I possibly possibly can.

Ocean Star Inn is away from the highway and exceptionally quiet. We only heard a couple doors close in the hallway, but no other sounds. We also appreciated the secure wi-fi. The breakfast was good, especially the egg bites, mandarin orange segments, and almond pastry. The only disadvantage was the small size of the breakfast area. I happened to arrive when all the tables were occupied, and it was difficult to maneuver in the serving area. I wasn't able to easily peruse all the options and just grabbed a few items to take back to the room. There isn't an on-site restaurant, but there is a very good Chinese restaurant close by that was recommended by the staff.

Close to Olympic park Hurrican ridge and Port Angeles. Comfortable beds, big room, good continental breakfast, fast check in. Quiet area in the night. Not great phonic insulation between rooms( you can hear the water, fan and AC if used in any adjacent room); but most of us travel to Olympic park and we all get up early. Overall a good stay.

This was a comfortable base for me while I was in Sequim for work. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was cozy, and the bed was comfortable and clean. Love the location too; walking distance to one of my favorite coffee spots in the area, close to a trail for walking/running, and very short drive to downtown. I would stay here again!
