Sequim Bay Lodge is passable—clean enough, very spacious, if dated, rooms. The sheet/blanket for the king size bed barely made it over the sides of the bed so it felt uncomfortable trying to stay covered while sleeping. The restaurant advertised as on the grounds has variable hours and is not open for breakfast or lunch most days—-hours not listed on hotel site. Worst thing was the very poor WiFi. We were kicked off constantly during our stay and had to use up our data in order to do business.

The rooms were clean and quiet. The only disappointment was the website said they served breakfast items but they did not. Also claimed to have a pool which one was on the premises but it was empty.

Noticeably aged but clean, although the pool was not maintained and has fallen into disrepair. Room was clean but shower wasn’t working quite right (knobs were installed in reverse, although labeled incorrectly, we at least instinctively knew left was hot and right was cold), not a big deal until you activate the shower, and half of the water flow was still going down the drain and only half was going to the shower. Front desk was in a mood when we checked in. Overall, it was an ok motel but for the price I would have pegged it to be just a teeny bit overpriced compared to other motels at its level. We could have gotten a less pricey motel closer to town if we knew it was this basic… Again, not bad just teeny bit overpriced for its location. But would have second thoughts about booking there again…would opt to be closer to town.

There was no pool “Expedia lied to make money.” No chairs on decks (or anything else), no breakfast or coffee, large hole in bedspread. Bring your own towels (thin and small).

The patio sliding door did not open, I was denied coffee in the lobby, parking in the rear seem insufficient relative to the number of patrons, you're a mile and more from city amenities food etc. that isolation is the cost of lower rates.

Expedia said there was a pool. There was but it was full of brown water Management said that they don't advertise a pool just the 3rd party booking companies. This was a dump. Paid $500 for 2 nights

Carpet had multiple stains and had had stretched so that three lines of ridges (like buckling) that could cause one to trip. Door jammed and difficult to open and close. Could go on but suffice it to say an average Motel 6 would be a substantial upgrade.

Our room was incredibly dated and not very clean. Somebody pruor to us had shaved in there was hair in and around the sink which is kinda gross. The carpet in the room was coming up off the floor causing a raised crease almost the entirety of the room. The towels looked like they were bought when the lodge was built. I think they were supposed to be white but I almost felt more dirty using them to dry off after my shower. The fride sounded like cummins diesel motor trying to start. The beds were pretty terrible as well. We were in sequim for a wedding and the sequim bay lodge was roughly half the cost per night of any other hotels. You get what you pay for and I would not stay there again, or reccomend it to anyone as a good place to stay.

Walked in, no heat. Turned on heat and got blasted with enormous amounts of cigarette smoke. Carpets felt slimy. Whole room stank. Got covered in bug bites. Terrible! The desk people were helpful and it was easy to cancel our 2nd night.

I would say the room was just "ok", nothing special. Not bad, as it was clean and bed was comfortable. Not that is matters, but furniture was very outdated. My biggest complaint was the "non-smoking" room had a faint, yet distinct smell of smoke. We opened the slider and kept the door open for a while and turned on the bathroom fan (kept it on the entire time) and it started to smell better. We didn't need the AC, but tried to turn it on just for air flow and didn't seem to work. Parking was good. Poor wi-fi. The one staff person in the lobby was friendly. The best part was the price and the fact that we were able to jump right onto the Olympic Discovery Trail with our bikes. It served it's purpose, nothing more.

This hotel was about what we expected. A lot of deferred maintenance items but everything worked. We prepaid for the one night which was booked for watching the northern lights (amazing!) so we went to bed around 2 am. At 7:45 the phone began ringing loudly ( which we ignored) and then a few minutes later the manager banged on the door until we answered. He told us he had accidentally charged us for the room twice and needed me to come by the office to run a refund on my balance. Kudos for the honesty but a note on or under the door would have served the same purpose and would have let us sleep.

I was very pleased with my visit! We had a calm and enjoyable stay with no problems. Our flight came in late and were not going to be able to make the check-in time and when we called they waited up for us to be able to get us our keys. Great simple place.

It's cheaper than most. you get what you pay for. Or less than you pay for, sometimes. I was in 4 different rooms over the last couple weeks and all of them had a broken lock, deadbolt or chain. And that's not the only problem. Just very weird. They were bent and twisted as if they'd been kicked in. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, although she had a very annoying barking little dog..(Annoying because of shrill barking often) also the older gentleman was the older man that cleans the rooms was very nice. Although I never got my room cleaned or stocked. Probably not his fault. the man that's usually at the front desk (owner?) was down right rude during every contact I've had with him. Condescending and not helpful at all Not worth going into detail, but it's not a good place to stay if you can help it If I hadn't been broke I wouldnt have stayed there and I hope I don't have to again. Btw you save quite a bit reserving online vs paying at sight.

Property was fairly well maintained but starting to show wear, especially the carpeting. Biggest complaint was the wifi - frequently lost connection when large number of users were online. Casino and many restaurants and shopping within 5 miles.

King bed was comfortable and room was spacious, but no breakfast and no pool anymore. Could use a night light in the bathroom, in the very dark end of the room. Also an outlet near the bed was missing the outlet cover and no security bar on the sliding glass door.

There was no coffee in the lobby, the carpet smelled and was dirty, the guy in the lobby was rude and the vending machine was 3.00 for a bottle of water, no food for sale at hotel or vending machine ice machine was broken. The only good part was the restaurant in the parking lot was amazing food ! And the shower had good pressure. We left a day early to go to a different hotel same with the people staying next door.
