The room was HUGE!!! The manager went above snd beyond to help us add a day to our reservation without having to change rooms. Room has nice desk, larger mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Nice size for a longer stay or for a travel nurse. Walkable to several restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

No issues with parking or air conditioning. Clearly an old hotel with a makeover but serviceable. Comfortable bed, and the clerk who checked me in was friendly and professional. I would stay there again.

This is a way over priced old motel that has newer furnishings but old run down details such as the bathtub, doors and windows. There is lots of street noise. No amenities such as a pool, breakfast or outdoor landscaping.

We have now made the Sundowner our hotel of choice in Sequim. They actually keep an entire floor pet free, which is amazing for my husband and his allergies.

The motel wasnt terrible but ended up paying almost $400 for my room. Its like a $60-$100 motel, definitely not worth the price I had to pay. Dishes were dirty, hair and dirt in the bathtub, floors not vaccumed, and the tv is on a wall mount that doesnt move which sucked for the 5 people we had since the tv faced one of the beds.

My usual hotel was not available due to a few events going on in the area so I tried the Sundowner hotel a few blocks away from my usual hotel. Check in was easy but the room was not up to my standards. The main issue was the floor was incredibly dirty leaving my socks brown after a few minutes. I made my complaint and it was fixed but not a great start. I did not like the bed and the bedding had some discoloration that as off putting. I tried to walk to the office to talk to the manager about that, after the floor thing was fixed, but I could not find them s I left a note. They did contact me after the fact to apologize but the overall stay for me was not the greatest. Not the worst by a long stretch, so I would go back if my usual place was not available.

The room was full of a musty odor and the carpet was full of stains! The towels appeared clean but we found hairs all over them from previous use. The ac duct was full of dust! A big water heater was locted at the corner of the room and was completely exposed and dirty! The super tiny bathroom had a bathtub which had dirty spots on it! We would not recommend to anyone, it's highway robbery for the price we paid!

This motel is extremely overpriced for what you get. It is dated, loud and smells musty. During our trip, we stayed at much nicer hotels, including pools, hot tubs and breakfast, for $100 cheaper per night. You are definitely paying for the proximity to Port Angeles/Coho Ferry, not for comfort or luxury. That said, the staff was extremely friendly.

Older Motel with upgrades make this a comfortable, clean option, nice bedding and pillows, but the bed is harder than we like - may be to your liking. Management gave us an upgrade to a King room and it’s huge! Very hot water and great shower pressure. Very convenient for local appointments and shopping.

This was really expensive for what it is: a motel with better bedding. The man who runs the place was very pleasant but there is a plexiglass service window at the office that makes it look incredibly run down. The bed was comfortable and we did have a decent stay but there was also a random dripping noise overhead above my bed - no water damage, just noise - and when I mentioned it to staff they said it's been doing that for six years. Hmmmm.

Wife and I have come up to the Sequim/Port Angeles area once a month since March. Staff was great, easy to get into the room, extremely clean. A/C works, fridge and microwave work as expected, and the property is well lit, clean (parking lot) and feels very safe. Two issues - one, room size (smallest by far; half the size of the next smallest room we’ve stayed in) and the coffee pot has a random leak and should probably get switched out. I’ll notify the staff regarding the coffee pot. Will update after we leave for the day.

Quiet location with very comfortable beds. A place that gives plenty of pillows and the internet was very reliable. Cable TV was amazing, great selection of channels. Rooms were very clean. Only thumbs down is the bathroom is a little small, and the toilets are small felt like a child sitting on the toilet.

Staff was thoughtful. They knew that I was coming in after 9:00 p.m. they called me to let me know to get something to eat because all food locations would be closed by the time I got there. Jimmy was amazing he also came to my room to help me turn on the TV and get it going

I wasn't impressed with the service I received. The guy who helped me charged me a deposit for pets that I wasn't aware were in my friend's car. My mistake because I thought he said he HADN'T brought them. Anyway, at check-in after he charged the deposit, his co-worker charged me again for the aforementioned pets. He immediately refunded the mistake deposit and refunded the original deposit when I checked out. What put me off was his attitude at check out, insisting he saw the dogs (it was dark and the car's windows were tinted..huh!) but when he basically slammed the window closed and ceased any and all conversation, no I didn't care for that. All ended okay. Still waiting to see both refunds hit my bank. Then I will be happy. Won't be going back again, though. You don't treat your customers with disrespect; it's not good for business.

The attendant was helpful and very pleasant. I am unsure if he is the owner but he was great. We were in a downstairs room and while we could hear steps on the ceiling it was never too noisy. A good place to stay after getting off the ferry from Victoria.

A great location and the best deal in town. Might look kinda shabby on the outside, but the room was clean, the AC worked, the front desk gent was friendly and its in a great location. You are sandwiched by tons of great options for outdoor recreation. Don't sleep on this place. Sleep at this place.

Friendly support from the Sundowner Motel management - seems to be a family-run business. Fantastic location as a stopping-off point to hikes in the Olympic Peninsula nearish Seattle, and also very convenient (walking distance) to Sequim town center restaurants, cafes, etc. Older property, but with new furnishings and rate was excellent value-for-money. Would stay again.

We ended up in Sequim not knowing about the big lavender festival weekend. Finding last-minute accommodations was difficult, but we were very lucky to end up at Sundowner. It’s right next to downtown and dome incredible restaurants and coffee houses. This is the only place I will stay again next time I am in Sequim.

The motel was clean, quiet with good upkeep. The owners were very nice people , obviously proud of their property. There were nice restaurants nearby and a cute while small town nearby. A good place to stay if you are visiting Port Townsend or Port Angeles

Nice motel for a one night stay. Jimmy the owner is very nice and accommodating. Room was very clean, bed was comfy. Location is very good. Close to the Olympic National Park. This was our second stay here and I would stay here a third time if we’re in the area again.

This is a great hotel for the price! The service is excellent, the room was mostly very clean, just something had been spilled in the back of the shower curtain. Comfortable bed and pillows and within walking distance of many eating places. I would definitely stay there again.

The people here are very nice, hospitable. We requested a first floor room, and they shifted our unit to accommodate us when we checked in. Larger room, with fridge, freezer, and microwave. Comfortable bed, nice linens. Close to restaurants, shops, gas, etc. Worked great for us!

The gentleman at check in and check out was very pleasant and approachable. Seems like he cared about the client (us) well being. The room were clean but the bedroom door had a hole in it-like someone might have knocked it too hard. Carpet seems needed an upgrade. While we don't know the area well enough, the windows all have wood or bits of wood as stoppers. For over $200 a night, perhaps a free breakfast should be offered.
