The place is pretty good overall. Only a few things to note: - The door for our room has to be slammed to close and lock. Not sure if that was intended by design. - Having lavender plants around is a nice touch! - There is a slight stench of urine when approaching the stairs. Might be from the beer cans in the trash bin that has been piling up. A simple regular trash pick up would fix it.

Staff was extremely helpful. Hot tea & fresh coffee every morning. Laundry facilities convenient & reasonably priced. Very clean and spacious room. AC unit wasn’t working while we were there. Staff thought they fixed it then maintenance evaluated. Needed a new panel that they had to order. Made for stuffy room. Other than that excellent stay.

Wonderful little property, very, very clean, just incredibly well taken care of and the staff, as others have mentioned, are very helpful and nice. I really recommend this place and will definitely stay here next time we’re in Sequim.

We stayed in the original 50’s building. It was a unique room and we really enjoyed it. They don’t build places to stay such as this anymore. Lots of wood and all in very good condition. The room was also very clean and tidy. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a clean, inexpensive room to stay in while in the beautiful little town of Sequim. Very friendly and accommodating staff as well.

The carpet was totally soaking wet when we got there and I believe that may have been the cause of the smell in the room. It smelled pretty bad like old socks or something. They did however bring in towels to put over the wet spots. The people working however were very friendly and apologetic that there wasn’t much to be done about the situation.

I've agonized about this review. On one hand it's clear they really cared about the room's condition and cleanliness, but they just seemed to be fighting a battle with an older facility. The key letdown was the strong smell of mildew in the bathroom. I never tracked it down so it could have been something simple like the shower curtain (it wasn't the towels!), but it was very off-putting. A windy night contributed to my near-sleepless night. The check-in and check-out clerks were good.

Room was dirty. Stains on carpet. Looks nothing like the pictures in the listing. Mold caused me respiratory issues and bedding made me itch. Front desk would not allow me to look at the room before checking in — you have to roll the dice and pay before you can see what you’re getting. Will not stay here again. Especially when they want some customers to pay a $150 deposit.

We slept well. It was a bit dusty. The thermostat was difficult to use for the heat. The seal around the door needs to be replaced, so it gets freezing in the room if the heat isn't running all the time. They need to leave a full manual in the room for the thermostat. Something with the timer made it difficult to run, but I just kept trying different buttons until I got it to kinda work. Very small shower area. Tiny TV.

The motel was very clean, and it appears that some updates have been done - such as the bathroom. We found the Wi-Fi to be poor - I was able to connect my phone but not my notebook. The staff are very friendly. We found the mattress to be a bit soft. The way the room is decorated is quite interesting - like a medieval motif.

Very basic motel, but comfortable, clean and convenient. The only complaint was the shower head is pretty low. I’m 5’7” and had to duck to wash my hair. Otherwise, great place for a night or two.

Had a nice 2 room suite. It was nice to have room to spread out. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Safeway store next door. Staff was friendly. It is an older hotel but a nice place to stay. It has an RV section but never heard any noise. It was quite the whole time we stayed there.

This is a broken down property with sketchy management. Bed was clean enough but overall extraordinarily overpriced. Six parties waited 25-30 minutes to check in while no one was in the office. Phone ringing off the hook. Same deal at checkout.

It was all good my uncle stayed there but when i went to pick him up the older lady yelled at me witch was not cool he already checked out and i was asking about it and she went off on me for nothing cause of her probably won't stay here again very unprofessional place is nice that lady isn't avoid her and you will be all good

Run by the sweetest most thoughtful staff in the world! When I booked, I let them know we were on our anniversary trip and they gave us flowers and chocolates and a Happy Anniversary card! The bed was super cozy with so many blankets.

Typical small town motel property, not great, not bad. Staff is friendly and professional. Room decor and furnishings are very dated, carpet threadbare in spots. Appears to be kept clean and well-run by the staff, but it's an old motel. Based on this it's still good value for money. And is more centrally located than many options, including being just a one block walk from the Starbucks in the Safeway.

The hotel is dated however, the room was very clean and the bed is more comfortable than the $300+ a night hotels. Well worth the price for an older hotel and staff is friendly. Has all the amenities the others do in your room and close proximity to everything around town.

Pretty close to Olympic NP entrance. Older motel style, but OK. Very friendly staff. We had a 2 room unit. Plenty of space, but the 2nd room had no A/C or fan, just a heater which would be good if it was cold. No breakfast, but a few fast food places close by.

Check in was quick. We had a nice clean room. It is a bit dated but the price was right. We appreciated having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. I did not see any breakfast items but those are usually overrated anyway. I would stay there again.

A great value. It's older but well kept and very clean. Despite the very detailed written instructions, I had trouble figuring out how to run the heat pump. I should have inquired before it got too late. Close to stores and fast food. We would stay here again when in the area.
