Room looked good, but bed was uncomfortable ans squeaky. Security was a concern as the front door lock was broken. The noises of people walking along to the toilet went on all night. The external noise of traffic and trains was bad. I didn't get much sleep. The price was steep for an unmanned block of rooms. The bathroom was in a poolr state too.

I wasn't sent the information to gain entry to the property beforehand. I had to call when I arrived at the property. Smoke detector was disconnected from the ceiling housing and on top of the wardrobe covered in dust would say it's been there some time. The plug sockets held on the wall using parcel tape. Bathroom was grotty, shower curtain should have been replaced along time ago. Did not feel safe or comfortable in this property.

This is a budget hotel, and absolutely fab for the price paid. Room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Problem was that the smoke detector’s battery was low, so it beeped all night long. I let the person running it know, but did not get a response. Shame, as this meant we did not sleep well … if it was’t for this, our stay would have been great. Shared bathroom was cleanish - only let down was the fabric shower curtain … these are always gross, but particularly when used by others, and it sticks to you everytime it touches you! Toilet/sink clean, and no issues. There is a kitchen, but we didn’t use, so can’t comment on that. Overall, I would recommend a cheap stay there if you only need a bed for the night. They just need to sort out the smoke detector!
