Welcomed really nicely. Decor is fun and colourful. Rooms were perfect, sauna, steam room and swimming pool were great. Massage lovely. There was a band on Saturday night which was great to watch while having a drink and the breakfast was delicious! All in all I would recommend going here !

Amazing hotel, great ambience - spa, art gallery, gym, the lobby. The whole lot. Top. Top tier. Place to stay if you are in Ldn. Shout out to Shaun as well, massive help when we were there to make we was good.

High tech, comfortable, artsy hotel. Lovely room. Speedy elevators. Great restaurant. Nice bar/lounge on top floor with lovely view of city.

Such a unique property and the room was so confortable. The view was amazing, but the comforts of the room made spending a night in before an early flight just as enjoyable as going out into the city. Some favorites for me were the pool and spa, but also the small things. The staff were able to service the rooms at any time, the outlets made charging devices easy and the tv allowed for casting. The gym was also very versatile. And the mini bar also provided space for storage + a coffee machine that I didn’t know I’d need until I did!

The decor and concept ate good. But facilities like pool needed an appointment. And not even open for 24 hrs. The sauna and hottub are not accessible during my stay. But i appreciate it thet they let me check in early. We were able to get to rest more.

Great stay in a well appointed, large room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city. I was on floor 11 (have stayed on 10 recently too) and it's a pretty great view. Beds and pillows are comfortable and the Aircon is effective. Automatic blackout blinds also make sure you get a good sleep. Spa is lovely, closes at 9pm which is a touch early, but open from 6am so a pre work swim and sauna is a great way to start the day. Very easy walk through to Liverpool St station and not too far from the city.

Staff were very attentive. My only hesitation was that you had to book the pool in advance

Fantastic hotel in a great location. A little let down on the way couple of occasions room cleaning wise when the room was not cleaned until late in the afternoon (5pm and 530pm - although seems this was on seemingly busy days over the holiday period). Otherwise our stay was amazing in particular the staff who were always very helpful and willing to accommodate requests. We also had spa treatments whilst there and would definitely recommend the spa. The treatments were customised to fit our particular conditions (in particular my sprained ankle).

Great location, amazing view, wonderful amenities, pool is beautiful, access to stream room and sauna, underground and bus stops very close by. The only downside was that the floor of the room was never swept or cleaned.

Hotel is close to the Old Street station and Shoreditch high street. Lots of restaurants around. Decoration is modern. I like the room is hard wood floor but it is quite dusty. I have been to London many times over the years, stayed in lots of hotels, never came across a hotel with such hard water. I know London is in hard water zone but then hotels normally have filter systems to treat the hard water. Can’t cope with the water. Will not stay there again.

Clean

We had a 22nd floor room with great view. However room was small and not clean (debris on floor in room and in corridor). The spa is nice, but dark as is the reception area. Due to boiling hot duvet and loud air con coming on in middle of night (could not be turned off), we did not sleep and left early (no refund for unused night). The control pads for all room functions are also a bit annoying.

The room is very clean, and the customer service is really good.

They said they were short on cleaners and we had to wait a couple of hours for the room to be ready, along with loads of other people. It was 7pm, we had a gig to get to and had to leave the bags with the front counter. Maybe pay cleaners London living wage, if you want to be staffed.

It’s new and painfully modern, by which I mean you can do things like control everything in the room from your (very firm) bed, but then you have to suffer the fact that at any moment a bright blue panel may blind you while you’re trying to sleep or the electric curtain may get stuck and you have to wait for the tech to catch up. You can also use the iPad to request late checkout, but don’t expect anyone to get back to you (I emailed at around 7pm and heard nothing). The spa facilities are lovely, particularly if you have them to yourself although bearing in mind the room capacity of this hotel that might not happen often. Room service was prompt and the food was delicious. I hated the artwork everywhere which I thought was the height of gauche, but that’s a matter of taste and I’m sure there’s a story there that I’ve just missed. I found all of these things tolerable and borderline enjoyable but what really put me off ever coming back here were the staff. A lacklustre check in, I said hello to someone that came in to check the temperature of the pool who looked at me and ignored me, then at check out we weren’t even asked ‘how was your stay?’ The guy that delivered the room service was lovely and when we returned to fetch our bags the maintenance man asked ‘how was your stay’ by way of making polite conversation on the escalator, but by that time we’d already lost interest in the Art’otel, mirroring the total lack of interest reception staff had shown in us.

The view and the bed has to be the big plus

Absolutely nothing to fault about this hotel. It was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel had been finished to an excellent standard, the room was fantastic - clean, spacious and the tablets and remote control lights and blinds were a fab addition! I have recommended this hotel to friends already and I will definitely be making a return visit. The value for money was just incredible!

Fabulous hotel-amazing views of London especiallyfrom the top floor bar. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Amazing artwork throughout the hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable - really liked the environmental controls. A great weekend getaway with easy transport links.

The problem with some ‘fancier’ hotels such as this one is that if you scratch below the surface they lack the ‘brilliant basics’ that make a hotel stay comfortable and enjoyable. We booked a twin room and came in to a double, wasting time trying to sort it out. The room was roasting hot and the air con was barely making a difference. The shower was quite low power. Whilst the service was great, we checked out first thing in the morning after a poor nights sleep. Unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

I arrived at the hotel and attempted to unpack but the room had only a narrow wardrobe filled with bathrobes and an ironing board. There was not a single drawer in the entire room . Management offered to give me an upgrade to a suite so that I would have an even larger room without a single drawer to put my clothes. I was told to “use my suitcase.” If I were staying with a friend or living in a homeless shelter this might be reasonable, but not when paying £300 a night. I left and Hotels.com was forced to refund me a little less than £1,000. Oh, I should mention that the air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly and the windows do not open at all, so it was sweltering. Even an IBIS hotel is a better experience than this.

Great stay. Hotel was lovely, room was clean and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only small problem was the room was quite noisy from the road and local bars over night which can’t really be helped. Also we had a few issues with air con but the staff were able to provide a fan so wasn’t an issue.

If I were only reviewing the room, I'd be content to say it was an excellent hotel room with an amazing view. The only bad part was the hotel receptionist tried to log my passport number without my consent (this number can be used for identity theft). I caught the guy doing it and told him I didn't consent to my passport number being entered into their system. I had to request a manager to be able to opt out from this information sharing. The manager allowed me to opt out, but the hotel clerk informed me that not all managers would have let me. Then, later on as I was checking out, I received by technical error an e-mail with a list of ten or so other guests staying at the hotel and their room numbers! So I do not think this hotel is great at privacy. I enjoyed my room, but I would not stay there again based on their privacy issues which they need to improve on.

Love the gorgeous decor of the hotel. The front desk gent who checked me in was a professional. I felt welcomed and taken cared of.

The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. The decor is uber chic and modern, and there is an amazing scent in the hotel. Reminiscent of the Vdara in Vegas in terms of a great signature aroma. Two minutes walk from Old Street tube, a great top floor bar and a brilliantly set up room, with all mod cons and a huge LED TV. Superb value for money.

Nice new clean hotel. Spacious rooms for a city hotel and very comfortable. The overall experience has been ruined by the hotel taking £100 deposit for room charges then despite not charging anything to the room they refused to refund the full amount. I’ve sent 3 emails now with no acknowledgment or refund of the remaining £49.09 after almost 2 weeks. Very disappointed in customer service and administration. I am contacting my bank to claim back what they owe now

I had booked the room under my hisband’s name and was meeting him there. I arrived first, well past the 3pm check in time. I wasn’t allowed in! Despite having all of the booking details, the same surname and the same address I was told that I wasn’t allowed in to the room until my husband arrived. I was told I could go and have a drink in the bar to wait. At this point I had no idea how long my husband would be as he was in a business meeting when I tried to call him. I have met him dozens of times at hotels over the years, always arriving first with never an issue. I was treated by the staff like a scammer or prostitute, it was deeply embarrassing. When we were finally allowed in to the room, the hotel itself was nice enough but bad service tainted our stay. We won’t be returning.

It was really nice stay. Bed super comfortable staff were amazing. The king suite was just incredible with amazing views. Went the extra mile with decorating our room and a free chocolate pudding for our anniversary.

Highly recommend the the hotel! The receptionists were very friendly and welcoming! I got an amazing upgrade to a gorgeous suite with a breathtaking skyline view of London in the 23 floor! I had some issue with my booking and wanted to change it and they were very friendly and flexible! Property was very convenient for nightlife, and traveling by public transportation. The check in was delayed over an hr but it didn’t inconvenience me much I guess. The staff was nice. Expedia membership discount was nice but there was a difference in discount told by Expedia and the hotel.

Such an excellent choice for a trip with my teenage daughter. The location is fun and so much less stressful than the more touristy areas. Highly recommend.

Great location for Shoreditch (SXSW London). Hotel is a lot of fun (love the art). Not too far from train or bus and not an awful cab into the more traditional tourist spots.

Second time here and the rooms and facilities are excellent. The only negative is the breakfast experience. Very slow service - ended up refilling my own coffee for example and the hot buffet was consistently cold buffer.....not good.

Absolutely everything was wonderful! I would definitely stay there again. I actually miss the place and the staff now that I am at my new location. If I could give 10 stars to the staff I would, they were ALL fantastic. Oh… and their breakfast… is amazing! I decided to include breakfast in my reservation, and it was SO worth it and delicious! Everything at The Brush is really good, cocktails, dinner. I can’t recommend this place enough. Location is great and their amenities top-notch.

We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every minute we were there. The hotel is quirky and a fun place to stay, the food is good, and the staff are very helpful and courteous. Drinks are a bit pricey though. We walked to Blackfriars Pier to use the Uber boats to get to various parts of the London sights or the number 55 bus outside the hotel which took us to Oxford Street and from there we walked to Harrods loads of places to eat and drink on your doorstep we visited Blacklock restaurant and we had the best steak ever it was amazing right on your doorstep as well we had food and drinks in the new bar on the 25th floor with amazing views and the bed was so comfortable we overslept one morning everything in the room was touch pad even the blind was electric nice big tv tea coffee and biscuits the mini bar wouldnt open but probably just as well as i think we might have got a shock had we used any of the items inside we still had the smaller side of the fridge to put our fresh milk in we also got a free bottle of wine for skipping a cleaning day in our room which was nice overall it was a brilliant stay
