Modern and contemporary new hotel that just opened this year. Everything is new inside and there’s food and a bar upstairs. The hotel is at the stadium which is super cool in itself. Staff was mega chill and helpful.

Excellent place to stay top notch hotel loved every moment from the bed to the shower and even the teas and hot chocolate everything inside the hotel is brilliant! The only downside is the parking as it’s £15 a night and you have to move your car when harts FC are playing.

The property is very comfortable and we felt safe. You need to check if Hearts are playing when you stay, as you won’t be able to park on site. Breakfast was disappointing. The full English was sparse and not well cooked. Public transport is easy to get to.

Fantastic place especially if you love soccer. Rooms and shower are nice clean and spacious. Some complimentary treats. Beds are terrific!! Parking is not easy, but possible to get free overnight.

The Staff are super friendly and helpful. Clara at breakfast was amazing. Coffee and tea available in the lounge 24 hrs. The drawback was parking. Had to pay 15 pounds a day. Buses to the city are very convienent. I would go back and stay there.

This is our second stay at Tynecastle so we were well aware there are no facilities (gym, pool etc.) We already had plans to meet family for a meal at the restaurant so it made sense for us to stay. The rooms itself was a great size, the bed is huge & very, very comfortable but the thing to let it down was the cleanliness, particularly in the ensuite. There are nice touches like complimentary crisps & biscuits making it good value overall.

Hi, I just wanted to share some feedback about my recent stay. When I arrived, I noticed hair on the bed and let reception know. Housekeeping came earlier than expected, but they only changed the top sheet, and when I pulled it back there was still more hair underneath. I mentioned it again and ended up having to change the sheets myself. I know things can happen, but the room wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped, and it did affect my stay. I’d really appreciate it if you could consider some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.

Superb staff, so very helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything needed. We had an adjoining room and found it noisy at times. Not very soundproof. We would stay there again but ask for a different room.

The room was lovely - very clean and everything in a great condition. The screen with a live feed of stadium was a really unique feature! The staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to visit Edinburgh.

This is our second stay at Tynecastle so we were well aware there are no facilities (gym, pool etc.) We already had plans to meet family for a meal at the restaurant so it made sense for us to stay. The rooms itself was a great size, the bed is huge & very, very comfortable but the thing to let it down was the cleanliness, particularly in the ensuite. Super spacious, very detail oriented from furniture choice to their location, you can tell the effort they put in to provide to best accommodation experience. Friendly reception and staff. Only thing is the mattress is on the softer side, but if you’re comfortable with soft mattresses, then this is the hotel for you.

Very nice rooms, although the hotel is very badly let down by the fact that the night/emergency light next to the bed is left on throughout the night and so unable to get any sleep. We raised this with the hotel staff who said that they were aware of the problem and had reduced the strength of the light but couldn't eliminate it altogether. This was far too bright and therefore we did not get any sleep for two nights.

Staff were superb. Friendly and extremely helpful, especially Sarah and Katie at reception. Spotless comfortable rooms, excellent toiletries and nice breakfast. Parking difficult especially on match-day, but easy bus transport into town.

Exceptional service here. Quite literally one of the best customer experiences ever. Front desk allowed us to check in early, and when we had a small problem with our initial room, Katie was so quick to respond and help us. Incredibly grateful. As someone who works in customer service / service industry, I was blown away by the hospitality of the employees working during our stay here. Incredible.

This hotel was amazing. The General Manager, Derek was always available to assist with any need and was so accommodating! Tia at the front desk was ready with suggestions, directions and advice at the drop of a hat. The restaurant and Bar Manager, Steven, greeted us warmly as if we were old friends. The housekeeping staff also was very accommodating and helpful. I can not say anything negative about this hotel, i can only gush about the 5 start treatment we were afforded. Did i mention that the TyneCastle Park Hotel is located in the Football stadium for the Hearts of Midlothian? There was a screen in our room that broadcast the pitch live! Unfortunately we were not there during any matches, maybe next time. Trust me, there will be a next time!!

A lovely stay, just a short bus ride away from the main centre of Edinburgh. The staff were unbelievably friendly and really made our stay! The room was lovely, very clean, huge bed and refreshments left. Only criticism is the breakfast wasn’t brilliant - I thought the buffet looked like leftover fruits etc, but we did get there for 10 so perhaps it would have been better earlier on. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommended!

The hotel was lovely and very modern. Service was excellent especially the hotel manager. Parking at £15 a night very steep. No restaurant during the week so had to go out..... gutted. Manager was very apologetic and recommended a good Indian round the corner

The hotel was really nice. We had an internal room so no window but the room and bathroom was clean, modern and very comfortable. Staff at reception were helpful. We booked the Skyline restaurant after our concert. It was awful. Staff were over stretched and it was quite a wait for food or drinks. We opted for 2 pizza's. They were frozen low quality and pretty tasteless with a green liquid, possibly meant to be basil on the margarita. We struggled to eat half. Drinks arrived 10 minutes after the pizza's. We thought they had forgotten and asked the male supervisor and found him quite rude and dismissive. We understand they are busy but only asked a question. Cocktail came (pornstar martini) was extremely bitter. Just unfortunately not mixed. Same supervisor then asked "Were the drinks worth the wait?" We explained no as the cocktail was not mixed. He walked away mid sentence. We left half a pizza but were going to order 2 wines but he breezed past our table with our bill saying "I've taken the drinks off" almost like he didn't want us there. We paid and left. He, in my opinion, let the hotel down. There was a lot of uneaten food on tables and i would not eat here again although the restaurant did have good reviews just maybe not after an event.

Fantastic stay!! Staff was so great and went out of their way to help! Very friendly Hotel is located in a soccer stadium which is a cool experience Breakfast was great and good variety A special Thank you to Emma and Sandra for making our short stay so great!! We arrived late and had dinner reservations and Sandra was able to contact the restaurant staff and provide us some dinner which was so wonderful and we really appreciated it! Sandra went above and beyond for us!! Also the hand soap and lotion are one of the best I’ve ever had at any hotel!! Thank you Tynecastle for a wonderful stay!!

To be honest wasn’t sure what to expect, a hotel run by a football club, was pleasantly surprised and the staff were all super helpful, I parked at the local Sainsbury’s (10 min walk) and booked extra time for this through JustPark app, very reasonably priced . Hotel is very modern and some really nice touches, Milton brown for the bathrooms etc Breakfast was cooked to order so much fresher than a hot buffet type offering.

Absolutely spacious, very cleans and quiet. Stayed here for two nights, a pretty easy walk into the city centre (~25 mins), lots of bus routes very close to the hotel. Staff were all exceptional. Added bonus: the restaurant here was LOVELY. The fish and chips were delicious, as well as the lamb burger.
