Beautiful property. Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful room. Snacks, water, coffee, and tea available at all times.

Wonderful! Beautiful house, very quiet. Space outside the room to sit and chat or read a book. There’s a dining room with tea, coffee, also an ice maker and water dispenser. A small fridge in the lobby to keep food or drinks cold. We were free to use the entire house (excluding other rooms) and felt at home. Very nice staff. 10/10!

Everything was easy and convenient. Parking was either free on the street or there was access to a parking lot behind the house. The room was clean and very nice. Loved the breakfast and hospitality.

It was a lovely property in a nice neighborhood. We thought it was a bit odd that we were asked to tip for our breakfast. We were actually given a printed receipt with the amount of our breakfast, and we could leave a credit card number with a tip. There were fresh baked cookies, waiting for us when we returned in the afternoon, from sightseeing. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The parking can be a little precarious as there are a specific number of spaces behind the inn, but there is Guitar also street parking. We were relatively close to downtown and could walk to do most of our sightseeing. It is a little hilly, so you need to be in some sort of good condition.

Probably because those are hard to combine with charming, Victorian interior design.

Loved everything about our stay! The hostess was so friendly and welcoming. We also really appreciated the communication. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We added a chilled bottle of wine to our room which was a great touch! The food was excellent and the plating was so pretty! We also tried the afternoon tea at the Cafe and it was 10/10! We will definitely go back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing night away in a gorgeous venue.

Great place...love to visit again. Didnt care for the Apple TV (took too long to figure our) and couldnt watch the big football game. Staff is great, music and decor top notch. Thank you again !

Gorgeous Victorian style house full of antiques and beautiful decorations, very comfortable room. Has a private parking in the back or you can park on the street in front. You enter via a code. The breakfast is delicious and abundant, you choose from a menu that includes eggs and bacon. The host is super friendly. Great stay!!

It has been many years since my wife and I have enjoyed staying somewhere as much as we enjoyed staying at the Ellerbeck Mansion Bed and Breakfast. The setting is unique and managed to blend modern conveniences with true historic charm. Communication prior to our stay as well as when we arrived was more than adequate, the pricing was very reasonable, the breakfast satisfying and we were able to walk around the area and truly enjoy this special part of Salt Lake City. This morning my wife expressed to me how much she enjoyed it and how she would like to go again. I agreed and only suggested we might go again, get one room and encourage some friends to get other room(s) so we could also enjoy lounging in the "common areas" without any worries that we were "those guests" who spread out too much. When we go back, we'll try to go for at least 2-3 days and invite other couple(s) but, in a word, it was WONDERFUL!

The property is beautiful. Breakfast and cookies were amazing as well as the staff! We were there at the end of November, and I believe it was unseasonably cold. The windows definitely need to be replaced and the space heaters to heat the rooms need to be a bit more robust. Or run the actual furnace.

Great B & B. Homey feel, nice accommodations in the rooms clean and tidy. And then a breakfast to top my stay off. I would stay there again and again!

Easy check-in, quiet, clean and comfortable, great coffee and breakfast! Overall loved it and would 100% stay again! Suggestions for the property: 1) window coverings are hard to operate and don't offer the best darkening or privacy--an upgrade would be awesome. 2) Antique tableside lamp plug/wiring were very fragile and seemed worn (had to plug into a different outlet to fit plug for a charger and the lamp would flicker on and off if the plug or wire were jostled at all); would replace the plug on the lamp so it's more secure (and possibly safer?).

It was quaint and everyone who worked there was great! Only the room needs a little loving and they need to replace some towels and bath mats. Breakfast was wonderful and the cafe was really nice.

We had an amazing experience at the Inn. Our Inn Keeper, Victoriya was so nice, accommodating, and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere and energy throughout the house was very warm and welcoming, quiet as well. The breakfast was delicious and served in the quaint dining room. The owners have done a fabulous job bringing you back to the 1800’s, while keeping things comfortable for today’s time. Loved sipping tea in front of the fireplace. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful property. Okay...it's old and the windows are cold (single pane glass). There is a hot/cold thing going on. The bed was warn and comfortable, the room was clean and inviting. I can't say enough about the staff. Very friendly and very good breakfast. I'd like to come back in the summer. Close to food and entertainment.

Great stay! Amazing gourmet breakfast! The room was very nice. My only complaint was that we were unable to close the shutters completely for both privacy and to shut out some light for sleeping, since the window air conditioner was in the way. I'd stay here again, but maybe in a different room.

Loved this B&B. The day of my arrival, I received a text message from the innkeeper, providing basic information and was greeted by her when I arrived. No check-in desk or registration--you\'re essentially in a home and welcomed as such. The inn is well kept, especially considering its age, and feels very much still of that era. The bedrooms are at the same time charming, cozy and elegant. You sign up for a breakfast time slot and choice of meal, and when you arrive downstairs in the dining room, the innkeeper--who has cooked your meal herself--serves you. Other guests were quite friendly during my stay. There was a feeling of comradery because we were all sharing a home (albeit, a large one). I got the feeling some of these guests had stayed there before. Some take breakfast in their pajamas, something you\'d never see in a hotel. The only complaints that I have are that conversations in sitting areas can be heard loud and clear inside rooms. There is also a dog in the neighborhood that barks continuously in the mornings. Nonetheless, there is an unbelievable quiet at nighttime, both in the neighborhood and in the inn. And the bed in my room was hands down the most comfortable I have ever slept in, with a very cushy mattress, pillows and comforter. I slept rather well during my stay. If high-end, expensive hotels are your preference, Ellerbeck may not be your cup of tea. If, on the other hand, you like a "home-away-from-home" experience, this is the place in SLC.

Historical home in the Avenues District, but there are a few things that are important to know. First, the Wasatch room is on the first floor and opens directly into the gathering area and main entrance of the home, so you get the noise from people coming and going in and out of the front door. You also are right across from the dining room where everyone comes to eat breakfast in the morning, so you also get the noise from that. Finally, the room itself - nicely decorated with antique furniture, the door is a 130 year old pocket door that locks with a skeleton key, but has a pretty significant gap on either end, so, if you’re the shy type, you need to pay attention to what you come out of the bathroom wearing or not wearing. The staff are outstanding and are readily available if you have a question, and breakfast is superb.

Everything about this stay exceeded my expectations: The size and comfort of the rooms, the cozy atmosphere, the helpful and friendly staff etc, but the breakfast was truly the standout. The food was 10/10 and there is no doubt I'll be booking here again for my next stay.

Very historic decorations. The lobby was beautiful. We stayed in the Deseret room. As we left we saw two other rooms and we had wished we had booked them instead. They just were warmer and better decorated. Fireplaces in the rooms do not work. The bed was ok, nice linens. I felt the bed was hard, but I think all hotel beds are hard. The TV was a bit small and high up. Walls are thin, or they were upstairs we could hear the occupant in the other room. The free breakfast was lovely and delicious. We thought we had a good exchange with the host, but as we were leaving my husband wandered into a already cleaned room to "check it out" and he was admonished harshly by the host. It left us a bad taste in our mouth and we will never return.

Checkin had a few couples ( us) a bit confused but after 10 minutes we all got settled. Thereafter it was lovely and I was impressed and surprised. Just enough of the right antiques in an historic home on the hill in SLC near the founder’s home. Quiet. Comfy nice bath and Apple TV. Breakfast was just amazing. Perfectly cooked and just a wonderful ending. I am not a b and b kinda person. I’ll return.

We loved everything about our stay!! I wasn’t sure what to think after reading some of the online reviews, but I had booked before reading them and I am so glad we stayed there! What a great bed and breakfast. The Inkeepers (Victoriya and Stephanie) were so kind and helpful and the bed/linens were to die for. The breakfast was also fabulous! I loved the history of the house and how they really leaned into the period with the decor, music (in the dining area), and even the style of the Inkeepers. I wish our stay was longer than one night. We hope to stay again! Thank you for taking such care to make sure your guests are comfortable and have everything they need!

Amazing stay for my husband and I. Staff were helpful and quick to respond to inquiries. Mansion was beautiful and well kept. Breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful place in beautiful neighbourhood

I had a great stay. The mansion is beautiful and furnished in a way that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. Thank he staff is wonderful. Victoriya was so welcoming and friendly. The neighborhood felt safe and it was easy to walk to downtown. Uber to the airport was short and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

It is close to everything downtown. We were able to walk wherever we wanted to without any issue.

Beautiful hotel! Located in a quiet residential area, and 15 min walk to Downtown restaurants, and a park. Very good rich breakfast, and friendly staff.

We were very impressed with the house and the service we received. We enjoyed the easy check in/check out and the delicious breakfast. In addition , we had the opportunity to meet other guest and chat with them. Also, very good location to explore SLC.

A traditional bed and breakfast that has the BEST people. The breakfast in the morning is 5 stars and the chef is personable and eager to highlight places to see. There is a nice walk from the property north to Ensign Peak that is not only a great exercise, but their are lots of unique and lovely homes nestled in the quiet walk. It does get a little steep. The historic Church of the Madeleine Cathedral is an incredible place to visit. The art work, sounds and scents raised my spirits on a dreary day! Enjoy yourself!

Impeccable accommodations in a beautifully restored 1890s mansion. Very cozy, quiet, and embellished with historic artifacts from the period. Super comfortable beds, no traffic noise, and the pioneer breakfast is the bomb! Absolutely recommend.
