Great location at the end of the riverwalk. Out the door and downstairs and you are there! Very clean and nice hotel. Staff was professional. Be early for breakfast. They ran out of some food items 45 mins before end of service and don’t bring out more of those items for the day. Ran out of sausage and waffle batter on Monday!

We decided to spend a little more to be on the riverwalk. It is a little off from the restaurants and shopping. Our biggest issue was not having an hot water. We were later informed that they we were waiting on a part and that the entire hotel didn't have hot water. We were not informed on this issue prior to checking in. No discount was reflected for the inconvenience and we were still charged an expensive parking fee.

It was a nice and clean hotel. It was in a great location. The river walk is a very walkable district. The 2 room suite was very spacious, however the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was your average hotel spread, nothing of note but gets the job done. The pool is on the roof, which has spectacular views, but the pool is very small. Staff was very friendly and the valet was always prompt and polite.

Everything went well. Problems were only having to use valet to park, no smoking allowed at pool. Pool is tiny. No seating or place to smoke comfortably outside the building. Price kinda high

No free parking. Inconvenient parking outside hotel or very expensive valet parking ($50/day tip) in the hotel. Sink in the master bedroom had huge cracks. Facility needs updates. Close to main attractions (Riverwalk).

Our experience was not good, cleanliness was not the greatest the carpet on 2nd level was disgusting looks like it hasn’t been washed in decade. Our shower head was filthy and broken, it was a handheld shower head that didn’t stay up we had to use a hair tie so it stays up, also no water pressure

Recently, I had trip to San Antonio For that I booked "Homewood Suites by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk/Downtown" for 2 days. I had terrible exp The room bad was made up, but it totally not cleaned. The room had last resident’s used tissue, towels, trashed papers on floor. Even last resident wallet and keys was there, which I returned to front office. more to that, the room has pills laying there. More to that, hotel didn't even clear the room next day also. While returning from there, my kid fell sick... I suspect it is because of he may have found some pill and took it. He threw multiple times. I have paid very high premium rate for this hotel. but this was totally not worth it.

We booked a weekend at the property first things first when we got to our room I had to call front desk as there was urine still on the toilet seat . Front desk changed our room again and that room had a stinch and again urine on the toilet seat. Plus dirty tissues by the window behind the curtain. Pillows were not comfortable very flat. Room was a nice size .TVs very cheap hardly any channels.Breakfast was pretty good.Valet was short staffed almost missed my reservation

We loved the location...it was a close walk to everything we wanted to do, their hospitality from needed extra towels to asking breakfast in the morning. We decided we might use the pull-out sofa late that night for one of our kids (to separate them), the sheets provided in the closet did not seem to be clean.

Location of this hotel was perfect. A walk down the stairs and you are on the Riverwalk. The breakfast was good; accommodating hours. There was noise from the traffic revving up in the evening but nothing you can't ignore, if you are really tired from a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. It is not elegant, but it was clean, comfortable beds, and nice showers. The pull-out sofa was a little less than comfortable; glad he only had to sleep there for two nights. Overall it is a place to definitely consider for next visit. The Riverwalk, the Alamo, shops and restaurants, and the giant Mercado are all within walking distance. We did not have a car and yet we saw some very fun sites. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Not sure if we paid a higher price because of the Fiesta celebrations; something to check out.

Our suite was big it was a 1 bedroom queen and king bed and a pull out . Parking is valet only and 49 dollars . We parked across the street for 40 dollars a night . We did not access our car till we left San Antonio . Most of our time was spent at the Alamo and River walk It’s right on the river walk and very accessible.

We always stay at Homewood suits and this one was great except that the air conditioning in the king suit was not great. The bedroom would get cold but common area was hot. Also, the staff seemed short staffed and not very friendly. Mainly the front desk was the issue. I had to call and ask multiple times for towels and trash bags and I finally went to the front desk and collected them. Also, the valet parking was outrageously priced at $50 daily. We just parked across the street for a couple of the nights we were there because it was half the price. Other than that the location and everything else was great.

I would have rated it a 5, but our room wasn't ready during check-in time. We finally received our room key around 7:30pm, 3.5 hours after check-in. That's unacceptable. The least they could have done was waive our valet parking for the night. The rooms are nice and renovated and the location great.

Check in is at 4pm. We arrived at 5:30pm and was told our room wasn’t ready, they were short staffed and had no clue when the room would be ready. Finally, at 6:30pm, the room was ready. The 4 of us and all our luggage headed up. Room was clean except toilet wasn’t flushing well and paint chipped off the wall, huge chunks. They did give us a credit on the room but nothing replaces the time lost.

The hotel it self was nice, but check in time was 4pm and our room was not ready till 7pm. And only because a representative feom Hotels.com called the hotel for me. The breakfast was ok but it was included so can not argue.

The property sits near the San Antonio River walk. Great to get the day started! Unfortunately, perhaps due to circumstances getting service requests done takes two calls. Maybe they were understaffed or overwhelmed to get to anything. Let your guest know, some will understand. we don’t like the feeling of being in the dark waiting for towels and missing toiletries to shower.

Overall great stay, the room was spacious and nice to have separate from living area. Right on riverwalk for a great price. Just be aware that free parking is not offered, and valet service is expensive.

Great location on the River Walk. Walking distance to most locations along The Riverwalk, The Alamo, and The Shops Rivercenter. Breakfast was served hot every morning with three Texas shaped waffle stations and coffee area available. Staff was very kind and helpful. The valet was also very organized and easy to leave and retrieve your vehicle. (10 min notice) The valet is around $50 a day. The hotel also places a hold for $175 accidental charge while at check-in. The room was so spacious, clean and modern. Hotel really was wonderful. I would recommend.

It's got nothing to do with the property itself, but the area around it. That part of the Riverwalk is run down and dirty, I don't know if it will be remodeled but it's very sad to look at. I was here in the Riverwalk prime days and it was beautiful full of life and people now this part of it it's just sad to look at.

Very comfortable stay..comfortable beds and clean furniture. Lobby and room smelled good. Friendly staff, valet parking a bit pricey, but they took care me and brought my car out in a timely manner, and they offered to help with our luggage . Loved the location, easy access to the river walk, restaurants and other attraction within walking distance. Did not enjoy our BREAKFAST, not much to choose from. The potato and egg was not appealing, unusual color. We had to go elsewhere to get breakfast which defeats the purpose of booking a hotel room that offers breakfast with a specific rate . Other than that, we enjoyed our stay

Like: location. right on Riverwalk Unlike: breakfast. eggs ran out. juice ran out quick. refills are too slow. waffle line too long. everyone is getting 2 waffles. one taster also make line too long.

Convenient to riverwalk and some other attractions. They sold river cruise passes and reception person was very knowledgeable on restaurants. Made great suggestions. Hot water was out one morning but no notification sent out. Happy hour snacks were stale, vegetables were disgusting, wine was all dry and no sweet available. Soda prices not list in small shop area in lobby. Was given for different prices for can of soda $2 , 3, 4,and $6 per can.... ridiculous!!

Love this hotel. Right by the Rivewalk. Breakfast by far one of the best hot breakfast of other hotels I've stayed before. Food was fresh and hot all the way to closing time. Trays of food were never ran out and staff was super friendly and clean.
