Spark by Hilton Galveston

Bathroom door wouldn’t shut. No outlets by the bedside. Only one bedside light worked, lamp on desk & floor lamp didn’t work. Only one elevator was working.

Bathroom was dirty no shower curtain, the floor was wet because AC was throwing water

Very disappointing experience. The hotel felt run down, the elevators were broken, and there were no linens provided for the second bed. It was also extremely loud throughout our stay, making it difficult to relax or sleep. Overall, not a good experience and I would not stay here again.

You see a small view of beach from the balcony. Breakfast was very disappointing. Cold cereal, bagels, muffins, or boiled eggs was the option. The gentleman in the evenings was helpful, but you didn’t receive any help in the morning. Room was ok for cleanliness. What was very disappointing was that we stay for 3 nights and NEVER got room service. We had to take out our own garbage, get new toilet paper, and towels. I have never received this bad of service before. Very disappointing.

Do not book with this Sparks Hotel. I booked 4 rooms at $167.00 a night. When we went to check in they told us $290.83 per room. We showed him I reserved it for $167.00 a night. He told us we had to look at what the cost for that day in time. It was the biggest rip off! I will never use this hotel. Hilton should be ashamed for doing business with these rip of owners.
