Took a break from truck topper tent camping with a stay here. Looking for a budget friendly option. Pros: great continental hot breakfast, excellent cameras/ security in the parking lot (felt comfortable leaving all of our stuff in the truck) nice size rooms. Cons: the hotel is in the middle of updates, the fitness center was closed and the ice machine on our floor was out of service. Our first room’s sheets were old. A quick trip to the front desk and had a new room right away with zero hassle. The front desk clerk was extremely apologetic and worked fast to correct the situation. Thank you for that.

What I did like was the easy access to the highway. What I didn't like, was the gym was out of order, cleaning staff was non existent.

This was rated a 4 star hotel. I would Say 2.5/3 star maybe. Furniture was old with marks all over it. Mold on the ceiling. I had stains on my top cover. Workout room was out of order the whole time. Breakfast included a pancake making machine, biscuits (hard) n gravy, eggs (scrambled), sausage (I needed mine cooked longer), toast, bagel and cereal. Juice machine (some spots out of order). And I had an extra fee for each room I reserved. It was the best hotel on the block, but WASN’T what I thought a 4/5 star hotel would be. BUT booking on hotels.com has been easy and helps with the discounts. I will continue to use the app, just maybe not that hotel.

This was a very quiet hotel. The room was very nice and very clean. The room was spacious with a microwave, fridge and a coffee pot. The hotel had washer and dryer if you need to wash your clothes. IThe hotel is about 15 minutes from downtown Memphis. There is breakfast evey morning. There was no pool in case you eant to swim.

Staff was efficient & friendly. Parking lot well lit & security camera monitored. Room was very clean, towels were fluffy & breakfast was done well. All while being reasonably priced. Would definitely reccomend.

Most everything was pretty good at this hotel. The only complaint i might have is that when we got there with two trucks pulling two trailers we had a fairly hard time parking. They had a pipe burst and half the parking lot was blocked off. It had been a pretty long day and we were tired and frustrated. Perhaps if the hotel management could've posted that on the web so that we had known prior to booking. Otherwise it was a very peaceful stay and the staff was nice. The room was pretty decent and clean.

I didn't like the surprise 100 dollar deposit that I had to paid on top of my stay. The parking lot is tight, no room for 2 cars to pass each other in the front. The room was clean but could have been cleaner, paying closer attention to the corners. The outside of the elevators and around the door downstairs needs a little cleaning also. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. Breakfast only had one meat which was pork sausage so i had toast with jelly since the gravy had pork in it also. The pancake maker is cool for kids since they can watch it being made and cooked. The dining area tables and floors are really pretty. The seats were comfy. The vending machines and the gym were out of order so that sucked but surely they'll be in running order by the time I come back. It's closer to alot of food places. I would definitely stay again.

The air wasn’t on when we got there and the room smelled pretty bad. Circulating air helped. Some of the furniture was ripped, scratched, and dusty. The smoke alarm was covered in plastic. The room was clean though. The bed was comfortable. There was not always hot water. We felt safe there. Staff was kind. We would consider staying again, but it wouldn’t be our first choice.

There was hair in the shower and on the wall. There was also hair on the new clean towels. I hate hair and it made me uncomfortable. Overall everyone was fairly nice. Cleanliness is just very questionable.

I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness from a plumbing system issue that left the bathtub covered with copper residue. I requested someone come and check it out and it escalated the entire situation.

The ladies at the front desk are wonderful, but that is where the charm ends. The property is in not such great condition and the owners and cleaning staff seem to be ok with doing things half assed. I could start with the stained and delapidated desk chair that was in my room (which any decent hotel would have removed and put out in the garbage), or the dead roach in the light fixture in the bathroom, that seemed to have gone unnoticed by the cleaning staff. So many charming touches like those throughout including the neighborhood which is close to hotels that offer hourly rates (yes that was meant sarcastically). Needless to say I will not be staying at this establishment again.

Saw and killed many cockroaches in the bathroom and tub and the hot water in the shower only seemed to work during a couple hours in the morning. Early morning and afternoon showers were ice cold. Overall the property was clean but dated so some clear wear and tear.

Rooms in ok condition. Very humid inside the rooms with sticky floors and doors that wouldn’t open and shut properly (both the front door and bathroom door were very hard to close). They make a point that the hotel is smoke free but we had to change rooms because the first room reeked of smoke. The second was better but clearly it had been smoked in too. Staff was so nice and helpful though.

Beds were little high for me. Had to use a chair to climb into bed. I am 5' 6"...containers for soap by sink was empty. Breakfast is served from 6am to 9am. We went down at 8am and there were no pastries, no gravy, no biscuits. Informed the front desk and they told us to let the person know in the staff room located next to food area. The lady was not happy was us for interrupting her while on her cell phone. It took her about 5 minutes to finally bring out 6 mini cinnamon rolls. Another 5 minutes to bring out a cup full of gravy and then another 5 minutes to bring out 4 biscuits. By this time there were another 6 people waiting. I hate to keep complaining about breakfast but the coffee had no flavor. Had to go to Macdonald's to get coffee....

The property was clean. The staff was nice. Unfortunately, the bathroom door was broken. It wouldn't stay latched. I had to put towels against it to keep it closed. The shower handle wasn't quite broken, but getting there. Other than that though, it was clean and quiet. I didn't mind having my kids there.

Came to Memphis for an Ironman race and specifically requested a late check out before booking. I was assured a late check out was no problem. In The morning leaving for the race I confirmed with front desk that a late check out between 1:30 -2:00 was ok. He said that was fine. Returned at 1:36 and new front desk person told me to hurry up because his manager was mad. I showered and left the room at 1:47 clean and in order with a cash tip for housekeeping At the front desk the man informed me that he just charged my credit card for another night because late check out was over at 1:00 and their cleaning staff leaves by 1:00. While telling me this I can see 2 different cleaning crews going in and out of rooms on the monitors behind him. He said the person that told me 2:00 was new and he was wrong. He also told me they had to charge for the room because they were completely booked for the night but I was able to pull up the reservation app in front of him and show him multiple room reservations available. The manager that was mad and told him to charge my card “had to leave” and was unable to talk with me. Finally said if I had just come back to the room and rested it would have been ok but since I showered they charged me?! Complete nonsense and lies There are so many hotels within a 5 mile radius so save yourself money and aggravation and stay anywhere else.

I have to say the beds were very comfortable. Room was clean. But chair was worn and torn. Furniture outdated and missing handles. Went down to breakfast and that was ok until I went back for coffee and a roach was in the floor. Staff very friendly and helpful upon request. With all this said if I visit Memphis in the future I sadly wouldn't book this hotel again as the area was questionable.

Multiple issues with this stay- property not taken care of. Staff seemed incompetent - communication was horrible. First room assigned already had someone in it but they gave me a key, no TV remote control, door wasn’t shutting or locking properly. Terrible experience- very disappointing that Expedia has this listing and that this is a representation of the Wyndham name.

I've stayed at this location numerous of times it's only the comfort of the room I love for me and my kids, with that being said the front desk host are terribly rude. My last stay while I was eating breakfast with my girls the front desk host came to me out of every one in the area and asked if I had a room there, an yes I think it' was because of my skin complexion with 95% of the guest being white. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was attentive enough. Even though native Memphians say this area is bad but I did not have any issues. The only thing that was a negative for me is that this was a prepaid stay with all fees included but when I got there there was an additional $100 deposit fee. So be sure to budget this into your visit. Overall great stay and the mini cinnamon rolls made my day.

The staff at the property were very polite and helpful. The facilities were clean. However, the area around the hotel felt unsafe, and our Uber driver who dropped us off tried to get us to cancel our reservation and stay somewhere else. Everything is fine inside the hotel, but I would not walk to any nearby businesses, including the gas station next door.

Large number of homeless on the block and the exterior of the building is a little misleading for the nicer conditions of the interior. Overall it was a positive experience though and I didn’t feel unsafe on the property.

Traveling through late in the night, we pulled the ratings for local hotels. This one received a 4.0 rating, the best rating in the vicinity, so away we went. The girl at the desk assured me they never had any issues and our vehicle would be safe: not completely assured of this, we parked underneath a light where cameras were in view. We discovered, only after walking to the vehicle, that it had been broken into via the driver’s side window. I go back in to ask if they knew what had happened and it was no big deal to them, no concern, no “we’re sorry.” There were 6 vehicles, including ours, that were smashed and grabbed that night and no concern for anyone who paid to stay there from the hotel.

Beds were little high for me. Had to use a chair to climb into bed. I am 5' 6"...containers for soap by sink was empty. Breakfast is served from 6am to 9am. We went down at 8am and there were no pastries, no gravy, no biscuits. Informed the front desk and they told us to let the person know in the staff room located next to food area. The lady was not happy was us for interrupting her while on her cell phone. It took her about 5 minutes to finally bring out 6 mini cinnamon rolls. Another 5 minutes to bring out a cup full of gravy and then another 5 minutes to bring out 4 biscuits. By this time there were another 6 people waiting. I hate to keep complaining about breakfast but the coffee had no flavor. Had to go to Macdonald's to get coffee....

Room was very clean. The ceiling was pealing. The frond desk told us breakfast was till 10. When arriving at 9:15 the eggs were cold, the sausage wasn’t cooked through and we were told we should have arrived earlier.

Vending machines empty, ice machine broken on our floor, TV reception so poor the screen would scramble and sound cut out every 30-45 seconds making it difficult to watch. Breakfast was poor with almost burnt biscuits, eggs that were mushy, and bacon ran out early with no refill for 30 minutes. No orange juice. Final nail in coffin was us stepping out of elevator to face an elevator repairman, who then began work on the only elevator available. Thankfully we had cleared out of our room and didn’t need to get back to the 4th floor. No warning, so other guests were out of luck.

I didn't like the surprise 100 dollar deposit that I had to paid on top of my stay. The parking lot is tight, no room for 2 cars to pass each other in the front. The room was clean but could have been cleaner, paying closer attention to the corners. The outside of the elevators and around the door downstairs needs a little cleaning also. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. Breakfast only had one meat which was pork sausage so i had toast with jelly since the gravy had pork in it also. The pancake maker is cool for kids since they can watch it being made and cooked. The dining area tables and floors are really pretty. The seats were comfy. The vending machines and the gym were out of order so that sucked but surely they'll be in running order by the time I come back. It's closer to alot of food places. I would definitely stay again.

Checked in around 11 pm large police presence in area a lot of sirens. Broke down security cars in parking lot. The hotel is clean, but the rooms leave much to be desired. The shower head was broken. Light bulbs were either missing or burnt out. The desk chair was broken. And the breakfast was downright awful; beginning with a coffee machine that was either out of coffee or was broken. The neighborhood is also pretty sketchy. I witnessed a high-speed pursuit and police chase of a suspect down the street and through the parking lots of nearby hotels while walking my dog. It was pretty terrifying.

I'm handicap they made sure that I had a walk-in shower it also had a shower chair and the first time I've seen a hotel that had your body wash or shampoo everything on the wall that you needed plenty of towels and washed clothes it was a great day and every time I go to Memphis I'll make sure I stay here we didn't need the breakfast we just stayed in they gave us a late check out at 12:00 very helpful
