Grand Hotel Bellevue London

The service, design and location were all terrific. However, I had the cabin room, the toilet of which was too small for an average sized man. Also, the hot water didn't work during the first morning of my stay.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel regarding a reservation that was made without my authorisation. The issue was raised through Hotels.com, who contacted the hotel directly and explained that the booking was not made by the account holder and should be treated as unauthorised. Despite this, the hotel chose to rely strictly on their policy and declined to issue a refund. It’s important to note that the stay never took place, the reservation was not used at all. Even so, the hotel made no effort to review the situation with any level of flexibility or fairness. Situations like this are where you expect a business to apply judgement, not just policy. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Based on this experience, I would be cautious when booking, especially if you expect reasonable support in the event of an issue.

Fabulous staff, wonderful breakfast, clean, comfortable, air-conditioned rooms, one minute walk from Paddington. A terrific stay in a beautiful hotel.

Staff is wonderful, attentive, and helpful. Home baked cookies baked by staff at breakfast. Staff escorts you to your room at check-in and the room is cleaned daily. The entire hotel has been designed well and rooms are very comfortable. A minute’s walk from Paddington.
