I needed to stay one night and saved money by taking the airport shuttle. There is a restaurant on site for dinner, a bar, and Starbucks is also there for an extra breakfast option or just a cup of coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed.

The staff was professional, the food at the bar restaurant was really good. I was disappointed the pool was closed completely which is a reason I chose to stay here and some of the fitness equipment was broken. For a Hilton I was hoping for better.

There is a pool on hotel website along with booking through Expedia .wen downstairs after getting kids ready for the pool ask what the location of the pool is and they tell me they don’t have one and it’s been closed since October of 2024 . I would have never booked this stay with small children if this was the case .

The room was ok. The house keeping was not up to scatch. Coffee station was not cleaned. No stirrers replaced. Tried calling to request a receipt emailed. Took about 10 minutes to get where I wanted to go. Although I gave my email address on check out, I did not receive anything. I called and they said they would resend immediately. Still nothing. Very frustrating....

Once we got there, I had to wash our cups with the body wash I brought with. I cleaned the coffee pot in the room. Our toilet bowl wasn’t clean. My husband said that the dry pee on the toilet rim was not from him. There were multiple different types of hair strands on the walls of the shower and tub. Our toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. You had to push it back in the wall each time. There was nothing covering the light bulb above the toilet/shower area. My husband said that was a safety issue. Only one of the plug in stations in the room worked. Outside our room in the hall, the ceiling tile is pushed up, and it is gross. Online, breakfast was supposed to be included, which is a must for my husband, it was not. Later I found snacks on the floor behind the chair from someone before us. Once we are in a room, we don't like having anyone come in to clean. We just treated the bathroom like a public bathroom at a restaurant or gas station. Although it was out of the hotel’s control, there were cars with loud mufflers racing up and down the street most of the night.

Our room was dirty, spider webs, dirt and hair on the floors. Toilet paper was not a whole roll. We ran out of Toilet paper with no reserve toilet paper after requesting toilet paper. I asked if the beds can be changed and toilet paper added we eere told yes but never received it. After returning at 10:00 at night our room was untouched. NO towels toilet paper, oval shaped trash cans filled!! We asked to be moved to a new room which had mold in the tub area (i have pictures.) Elevator floors were filthy. I loved bein at this hotel but this is the last time my fa.ily Church will stay here. As a ministry leader for Indpls church, we've held our conference and used tthis hotel. I will veto any idea to use this facility in the future. We had rooms 625 and rooms 628.

The first room we were in was extremely hot even thought we had the AC maxed out at 60°. Maint said everything was fine, but being that we were on the top floor the room would stay hot. Moved us to the 3rd floor and still no difference. Very uncomfortable with a warm room. Even the hallways were stuffy and and warm.

Check in went well, initial staff was friendly. We got to our room and it was 75+ degrees and ac not blowing cold. They had maintenance come up and confirmed ac wasn’t blowing cold. Switched rooms and it was also very warm, no blowing cold ac, and smelled of mildew. They gave us a box fan. Beds were very uncomfortable, which being a Hilton, that was very disappointing. Would not recommend, and will not be staying again.

The hotel was run down looking. The windows, doors, elevator - all were pretty dirty. Even the tv had handprints on it. It needs a coat of paint at the very least on the doors to the rooms - they looked like they have never been touched. Our hotel was probably about 25% capacity yet we were across from the elevators and the ice machine - so we heard people talking on and off throughout the night and starting at 5 am as they were leaving early. Seems like a few airline staff stay at this Hilton and they are early risers. The ice machine room was really noisy - the equipment seemed broken and it was loud. All night. There are plus only on one side of the bed - and none anywhere near the other. Not on a wall - no where. So I gave my wife the plugs and I put my phone across the room by the TV. But in the morning that’s a drag when the alarm goes off - or in my case as I was awake during night and the phone and my Apple Watch are my clocks. Couldn’t have them beside the bed. All signs of an old old hotel. These days you need a plug by the bed or it just won’t cut it. Everything plugs in. If you travel with a cpap you’d definitely not want this hotel unless you bring an extension cord. All in all I’m being generous giving it a three. People were nice and that was the save.

Great location to walk downtown. First room’s AC wasn’t working (we also paid for a city view and the window was so dirty we couldn’t see out the window), so we were moved rooms quickly. That was appreciated. Bed was HARD and the wallpaper starting to come off walls. Should have spent the extra money to stay at The Bradley

We had an ok stay here at the Hilton in downtown Ft Wayne. One of the beds had clearly been laid in and we had no cups in our room. Glass or paper for coffee. It was also pretty noisy. We could hear every move above our room and lots of doors opening and closing in our hall until about 3am. Not at all what we were expecting for $300/night

The rooms are very worn out. Fraying carpet, wall markings, and sagging furniture. Despite being aged, it didn’t feel dirty. There just has not been any recent investment in this property. The gym was small but functional.

The customer service at front desk lacked. Our room AC was not working. We asked for help took awhile for response. Still didnt fix it asked for another room which they were nit happy about. The other room bathroom door ran into toilet when tried to shut it. It seemed older than other room. Was a major inconvenience to wait for help and transfer rooms . We were celebrating my boyfriends bday!

We were attending a wedding in town and decided to stay here at a reasonable price instead of the recommended expensive hotel. From parking to check-in and 2 nights of comfortable sleep we were pleased with our stay. We also appreciated the proximity to the wedding related events and easy parking availability! It’s a convenient ride from the airport. The property could definitely use renovations, but is overall clean and fine. The staff, front desk and shuttle driver Monica in particular, are absolutely excellent. They’re friendly, helpful, and give top notch service.

I've found that staying in hotels outside of the city proper in Fort Wayne can result in long wait times for rides. For me, Grand is perfectly located for stop over or longer stays. The hotel and Features restaurant/bar along with onsite full Starbucks cafe is perfect.

I chose Hilton because it was recommended and convenient for the our reason for the visit. I was unhappy to find out the breakfast was not included. For a name like Hilton and the price I payedfor less than 24 hours, I guess it was expected. I am particularly to blame for not seeking further details when i saw the word "breakfast" in amenities. $30 for 1 adult and to kids. I should have went to Hampton Inn.

Guest services were friendly, housekeeping prompt and very considerate, especially Ashley. However, restaurant staff treated me like a thief when I misunderstood this property did not offer complimentary breakfast and dared to touch a plate. I guess to him my money wasn’t good enough for the similar quality meal I received for half the price at the Starbucks. Now I know. I chose to use their microwave for all my meals during my 4 night stay instead. I saved money and certainly didn’t have to feel unwelcome while enjoying my meals payed with my hard earned money. I’d also like to thank him for reminding me where I come from and apologize for any inconvenience I caused him for the misunderstanding. I clearly don’t belong in this hotel’s fine dining establishment which gives the same quality breakfast as the 2 star hotels he believes I am accustomed to using. I’ll do my best to never make this mistake by walking into that restaurant again.
