The entry area is large and beautiful—enjoy that because the rest is a letdown. There are two ice machines for 6 floors—both were broken. 3-4 of the nights we stayed, we walked by people sleeping in their vehicles in the parking lot. They will not service your room unless you request it. We asked for service and got it 3 days later (the day before we checked out). After they serviced the room, our door was left ajar. The fridge wouldn’t close—we fixed that ourselves. The breakfast is typical—one waffle machine, eggs and sausage, and some cold cereal and oatmeal. I watched the staff get after a lady who didn’t use the tongs to put the bread in the toaster—while thinking the hotel had many more problems than giving grief to guests about that. I’d look for another place to stay—this one was not well maintained and didn’t feel completely safe

Well we had to change our room the next day. The room that was given to us wasn’t clean, we could see stains of food on the cabinets in the room and the inside of the fridge wasn’t clean either, the bathroom cabinet where they place clean towels for guest was so dirty like it has never been cleaned. We complained the following morning to the front desk lady and she promised us they were going to clean it so we went out. We came back in the night only to come into the dirty room, so they moved us to another room that night, i had to clean the next room too. What i noticed in this hotel is that the cleaners just want to change the bed linens and clean the toilet seat and bathtub nothing more. Lazy work! If you can’t do your job well maybe go find another job that you can do well. Hotel rooms are supposed to be deep cleaned each time a guest leaves because different people comes in their and you never know what had been done in the room. People deep clean their houses where no strangers stay not to talk of rooms where hundreds of people sleep in year round. Train cleaners on how to clean hotel rooms we paid for, I don’t want to sleep in an hotel room where I can’t trust the cleaning process, at this point i am not even sure if their bed linens were clean. I will never use best western plus in Augusta again.

The breakfast could have been better. Check-in in was good. However the water pressure and drainage was HORRIBLE for the sink and shower. The BOTH ice machines were down and we were told we had to go to the nearest gas station to buy or get our own ice.
