The elevators are a problem in the morning when people are checking out. We ended up having to take the stairs down to the lobby multiple times. Thankfully we were on the 11th floor and not higher. Some people were waiting over a half an hour to catch an elevator. Seemed like they only had half of them running.

We stayed at Intercontinental before our cruise on the Icon. It was highly recommended by other cruisers. The hotel is beautiful and the service was top tier. the spa area is included in your stay, and my husband loved it. the pool area was beautiful. Many people on other reviews complained that there was not enough sun at the pool, but I thought there was plenty even though I was not trying to sunbathe. The staff at the pool bar were very nice. the drinks and food served at the pool bar were all great. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. This hotel is walking distance to many restaurants, bars and entertainment. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, they offered fresh, healthy options as well as traditional breakfast items. This hotel is just a few minutes from the port, so a very short uber ride was all we needed. We will always stay at Intercontinental when we are in Miami.

Best upscale location to stay before or after a cruise. Across from a nice park, easy walk to Bayside Mall for shopping and nightlife, short drives to South Beach, Port of Miami and Little Havana. Hertz rental office two blocks away for easy pick up or drop off. If you have Club access, it is the best one I have experienced at any chain hotel so far - great food for breakfast and snacks, and self-serve cocktails with top-shelf liquor in the evening.

Definitely love the view of the Bay from our room. The decor was posh and every details were on point. The only reasons to return to the hotel was the check-in time at 3pm and checkout time at 12pm. Let's talk about the stuff that probably needs the hotel's attention. The parking! There is no self-parking. Only valet. The closet parking with 30 dollar per day rate was 3 blocks away. Valet parking costs 65 USD per night. Next on the list, noise. There is very little sound insulation against the roaring thundering bonanza from airplane. Imagine getting woken up at 3am by roaring airplan eenginee although I was at the 11th floor only. Next on the list. Shower water temperature is lukewarm at best. Next on the list. Weird noises around the room. Sometimes I wonder if it were haunted. Probably due to old freezers. I don't know. But the bed was comfy at least.

Amazing experience. The property location was great walking distance to so many restaurants and activities. The best part was the rooftop NYE fireworks watch party. We had the best view in bayside. The best part was the beds wow I did not want to leave that bed it was so comfy and soft. The sauna and spa was gorgeous. The pool is nice, a bit small. Overall amazing experience already booked for 4th of July.

Shower was dirty with hair all over it. Was told I would receive a refund for one night and it would be cleaned as soon as possible. It was still never cleaned. Very gross and disappointing that they can’t clean the shower. We also found a child’s sock in our room and don’t have small children!!

Spent a night in Miami. Upon arrival excellent valet parking service. The room overlooked the port of Miami a d offered a great, central location. However, the room was not properly made up. E g, bathrobes were missing. Toileteres used by previous guest(s) had not been replaced. Hotel addressed concerns.

I stayed at the Mandarin last year and so I am coating the two properties the staff was super attentive and th vibes were very chill. The jury is still out I can smell smoke in my room definitely negative so far but I will continue to keep an ope. Mind. Not as clean as Madarin either but again I will continue to be open . But those are the two 3 negatives. Staff not super attentive, not the cleanest and the smoke scent.

Stayed here July 4 to 7. Let’s just say it was an experience. The TV never worked. The shower area had this constant dripping sound and water on the floor. I actually almost slipped. The fridge sounded like it was trying to escape the room. It rumbled nonstop through the night. Sleeping was more of a suggestion than a reality. They gave us a $200 credit and we used it at the spa. We went for the Vitamin C facial, expecting something relaxing. It lasted about an hour and involved a light being shined on our faces and some products I didn’t recognize. Maybe it’s just not my thing. My partner said you could get something similar elsewhere for way less. Felt more like a skincare demo than a real spa treatment. The issues weren’t small and they weren’t acceptable. A room at this level should function properly. Credit or not, the overall experience was poor and not something I’d recommend to others.

We had an excellent stay! The staff was so kind and accommodating. They even upgraded our room to bay view since we were there celebrating a birthday. The room was clean, comfortable bed and close to everything. The picture is of the view we had. It was about an 8 min walk to the Bayside Marketplace, 9 min drive to Brickell. Suggestions: Restaurant-Sexy Fish (ask for Valentino), Rooftop bars- Sugar and Rosa Skybar were excellent!

The hotel wasn’t bad, but the phone customer service sucks. I checked in on 6/12/25 to stay one night before a cruise. The total was $374 plus an extra $100 deposit upon arrival. I was told I would receive my $100 deposit back the next day. Well, today is 6/26/25, and I still have not received my deposit back. Every time I call, I get the runaround and placed on hold forever. No, I will not be returning because of this issue.

The hotel facilities are very nice, but you need to be careful with your bill when you check out. They added items to my room that we never used, and we placed an order for $32.05, but they charged $64.10 — they simply doubled the amount without any explanation. Worst of all, they never refunded the money. I don’t recommend this hotel due to their lack of honesty when settling the bill.

Steps away from the People Mover. It’s free. Close to CVS, Whole Foods, Ross, great food and music. Also walking distance to the Stadium. We had a fabulous stay. So laments 2 other couples we were traveling with prior to our cruise. Miami cruise port is 20 minutes away with traffic. 👍

Clean and upscale decor. Courteous and efficient staff. Perfect location to Brickell and downtown/Bayside. The only complaint is the overpriced breakfast buffet for $38 & 18% gratuity. Limited selection for price. $28 would be little high but convenience I guess.

Fantastic experience really enjoyed the in-hotel restaurant and breakfast options purchased with the room. Overall very nice room and great service and access to Port of Miami for next day cruise. Highly recommend booking here.

Great room overlooking the bay and cruise ships in port. Lovely breakfast, especially the egg station and friendly chefs chatting while I waited. There was some noise outside and from inside the hotel all day and night so it did disrupt our sleep, but it wouldn’t deter us from staying again.

We didn't have breakfast there but really enjoyed the beautiful room and incredible view of the bay and cruise ship port. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. The location was outstanding for our needs. We were able to walk around and find the good places to eat, shop and explore. Family friendly hotel. We felt quite at home. A fine staff and wonderful accommodations in a great location. That checks all my main boxes. We will make this our waypoint again.
