Ideal location in centre of Duval Street. Expensive but good quality. Pool area small only a handful of sun beds, but very comfy if you are lucky enough to bag one. Pool only 3 ft deep. No sun shades which was a big disappointment.

This was a great spot to visit for our first trip to Key West. It’s right on Duval St where everything is happening. They have a great bar and restaurant right in the hotel. The pool and pool bar are great as well. Very nice and helpful staff. They also have complimentary bicycles to use for the day which is nice (if you wake up early enough to secure them). The hotel was clean and the room was adequate with an honestly comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel in the prime location of Key West. This trip was a part of a longer trip and this hotel was the best out of the other places we stayed. I was a bit skeptical due to some poor reviews but we had no issues with anything. The room was specious and clean. The hotel has nice pool and deck area. Check in was easy. They have parking for $35 a day. The hotel is not cheap but there is nothing cheap in Key west. If you planing to stay in prime location be ready to pay big buck.

The facility was under construction and the pool was not available. Fire alarms went off 9 times during our 4 day stay - twice in the middle of the night. Construction workers all around the facility and our floor reeked of fresh paint, every day. Upon arrival we were informed of an additional “resort fee” charge, something else not disclosed on booking. Management tried to argue that everything was “routine maintenance.”

While many aspects of the hotel were great (food, drinks, most staff, location) The main reason for a poor review is due to ill-informed staff and made up excuses. We chose this hotel based on location and the fact he had a pool. After booking I read a google review that the pool was closed for renovation, reachout out to hotel.com, after an hour, they responded that they spoke to the hotel and the pool would be opening in a week, and prior to our arrival. I wasn't sure, so I also called the hotel, and the front desk told me it would be open. Move forward to check it, the pool is closed, excuse is it didn't pass inspection. The pool had unboxed equipment everywhere, drilling and building work going on, it was nowhere near ready. After some pushing they said no resort fee (or whatever they call it) and breakfast credits. Some staff at breakfast said the credit was for both of us, others said for one of us. Then at check out, after being told nothing was getting charged to the card, I see 3 of the 4 days have a $30 resort fee, even after being told it would not be there. Again, more time for us to sort that out. Otherwise, hotel is great (rooms are small). But please list this property with a closed pool and educate your front room staff when things will be working

It was in walking distance of many of the restaurants and bars. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The hotel is under construction and does not have all the conveniences listed on the amenities of the hotel. The pool is closed and the hotel offers the opportunity to go to an adjacent hotel for the pool, but you have to sign up a day ahead of time to use it.

Conveniently located to all shopping and dining on Duval! Parking was a breeze. Arrived early hoping to park and our room was also ready! Stayed on 4th floor or original wing and the elevator would have been convenient but they were under construction. The lobby was vast but A/C seemed to be out, maybe bc of construction. The pool was closed which was a shame but the option to use another hotel's pool with a reservation was a option. I would definitely go back hopefully when renovations are complete to fully enjoy property

The pool is closed so if you’re thinking about a relaxing dip after walking around in the sun don’t get this place, they will tell you they have access to another pool at the marker hotel but you have to make a reservation to use the pool and a time you can’t just show up , parking is $35 a day and they charge you a $30 fee per day but you can use it towards food or beverages, so they are trying to force you to get food or drinks at their bar, restaurant is closed also 2 drinks at the bar came out to $60 so your $30 fee is just to get you to the bar it won’t even cover a couple drinks, no ice machines so you have to pick up a bag of ice in the lobby, May 31 2024

The hotel is very nice and has all of the amenities. I arrived on Monday 6/16 and the room was never cleaned on Tuesday and Wednesday. I had to go to the front desk late afternoon on Wednesday to ask for the room to be cleaned. They ended up discounting just under $100 from the daily resort fees for the inconvenience. The coffee maker didn’t work too well. Had to keep pressing the button to get about 1/4 of the coffee mug of coffee in the mug. The hotel pool was nice, but not a lot of seating there, so if you don’t get there early, you’ll most likely have a difficult time getting a seat at the pool. With all of that being said, the room was beautiful. I had the Penthouse suite with a private terrace. It wasn’t the same terrace as shown in the photo when I booked the room. The terrace in the photo had 2 lounge chairs on the terrace. The terrace of the penthouse suite I stayed in was very narrow and did not have any seating. It was for standing only. The location was perfect. Walkable to all of the restaurants, bars, shopping & attractions. CVS is right next Store to the hotel, so if you need anything at all, it’s only footsteps away. The staff were all pleasant.

The staff was awesome and so accommodating! They were friendly and personable. They gave us advice on local spots. Such a beautiful hotel, very clean although we did have a bit of mold in shower. In the center of everything, waking distance to ask the best stores, sights and food.

We arrived to find that water to our hotel would be turned off from 10p-6a that night. The clerk said it was city wide but none of the surrounding businesses heard of it and nothing was posted on city websites. We believe she told us this so we wouldn’t go anywhere else. So after a day of traveling, no shower, no toilet. The remaining two days, we visited the pool in the early afternoon. Both days, the water was disgusting with garbage (plastic, cracker wrappers) and debris floating. Both times there was one other couple at the pool so it wasn’t dirty from excessive use. The room was clean but dark. Hallways were musty and dank. Besides the prime location, not worth staying here again.

Incredibly small room and room service was very poor. Bathroom was not well cleaned for two days, we were not given new washclothes and body wash. Girl at front desk was less than friendly, let alone apologetic, when we had to go down and ask for these things. For the price, we expected a cleaner and better maintained hotel.

We had a luxury room which was far from luxury. On the face of it, it looked great, but the reality was far from luxury. No storage for clothes, patio doors had gaps in which let cold air in and room became very cold. No hearing in building, we were there during a cold snap. Bathroom was set for disabled use, shower head very low and water leaked out into bathroom.

Booked through Orbitz and it states that parking is $35 per STAY but they actually charge $35 per day. WiFi was down my entire stay and then on top they charge a per day destination fee which is not known prior to booking on top of per night room cost. Excellent location but they have too many add ons in my opinion.

SMALL rooms. 1. Bathroom is so small you cant stand in front of sink to wash hands or brush teeth. (And we are not big people) 2. Furniture is so large, there is approximately a 12 inch walkway between bed and tv stand. 3. Asked 3 times about where pool is located. We were told second floor…. There are no signs or markers to indicate the location. Finally found it. Yes, we were told about renovations in progress, but that didn't make the room any bigger ( and it was already renovated). So overall not worth the money for such small quarters. Shop around.

The hotel location is excellent but the bathroom is not. It’s so small I didn’t have room to change my mind! It is ridiculously small. You can’t shut the door while using the toilet, you can’t take a shower without closing the door and you can’t sit on the toilet without banging your knee on the door. Ugh.

Great location on the duval strip just a short stroll from everything. Staff is amazing very hospitable. Smiles and positive attitudes all around. The lobby is so cool with a vintage feel and the music setting a mood of a bygone era. The whole place really takes you back to the heyday of old key west. Will definitely return

I booked this trip on Expedia and when I arrived at the hotel, they did not honor any of the deals. In fact charge me extra. Whenever you book with Expedia, take a screenshot of your deal as well as a screenshot of your itinerary. If you do not have that you will not have a leg to stand on with the hotel and even then it’s slim pickings

Paid for a premium kind suite and got met with a rude staff telling my how bad her day is and how I’d be lucky to get a room after driving hours …. She had me apologizing to her out of fear I wouldn’t get even a place to stay .. worst experience ever and I’m expecting someone to make this right cause this is theft

Very rude and unprofessional staff. Worst check in experience - lady checking us in was very rude and unprofessional and was getting irritated by routine questions about property, like where is the parking, is there bellman service available etc. Property itself is very rundown and undergoing renovations.

The staff at this property were amazing! Paige went above and beyond to accommodate my needs for business and space. Everyone was friendly, rooms were clean and freshly updated! Parking here was easy, secure and included. I will 100% be staying here for all of my business trips to Key West!

The morning after we arrived, got a call from the front desk saying they needed our credit card again because it was not swiped yet the $400 was on our card. Then a pending amount of $623 and $417 were pending on our card the day after that. We paid in full when we booked our trip so I didn't understand all these pending charges. Had to go to front desk times to tell them before they were finally removed. There is alot of constuction going on at the hotel, very noisy, water shut off from 11 to 3 for three days while there. We had breakfast included which included picking from a menu, second day they changed to a buffet so it was the exact same food everyday. They give tickets for a complimentary drink when you arrive, we never recieved them. A pina colada at the pool bar is $16!! Rooms are not cleaned well, we had Dorito crumbs on the floor that were never vacummed nor were toilets cleaned. Only place to get ice is at front desk which is very inconvenient and employees are not very friendly when you ask for it. Also when we booked it said there was a work out room but it was closed because of the construction. Place is expensive to stay at and is not worth it and will never stay there again!!

Great location but you do get a lot of street noise at night. As of our stay (July 14-16, 2023), hotel was under renovation (5-6 floors) but our room was very nice. Staff was great. We would definitely recommend and stay there again.

The staff were great. The room was average. Location was great. A few small things would go a long way. Maybe include breakfast, orat least have coffee for the guests. Charging $10 for a cup of coffee seems crazy. We've been to Key West a bunch of times but never stayed at this hotel. I would never go back. There are much nicer places for less money.

Love the remodel, we have stayed at this hotel several times, and the remodel was nice and brightened all of the previous dark wood spaces. I like the new grab and go snack/beverage place, the water station was used lots by us. The new open bar area was really beautiful and the drink/food selections are a nice addition. One of my favorite places to be on Duval, especially for the price.

We loved La Concha! The location is perfect, the room was clean, and they provide plenty of perks, like 2 free drinks, food & beverage credit to offset the resort fee, and free bike rentals. We will definitely be back!

The only reason we gave this rating was the breakfast buffet. It was Absolutely horrible. A few pastries, bacon and what tasted like powdered scrambled eggs. The cost was $25 each. Total bill was $93. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging g that. A word to anyone thinking about staying there. Avoid the breakfast and go down the street for an edible meal.
