We just needed an overnight room. The property looked fine, a little dated. Our room was second floor, elevator access. Front desk on entry was questionable, I had to be let in by the desk clerk, otherwise the door was locked. The room smelled funny, not pleasant. The bed was hard and the 2 pillows were uncomfortable. Coffee in the room, yeah. Not terrible by any means but could be better.

Site advertises that they have shuttle service from the airport and to cruise port. Arrived and I was informed that they no longer carry any kind of shuttle service to either. The had the most minimal amount of towels (not even a hand towel). I accidentally spilled a cup of coffee and had to use one of our only two washcloths to clean the spill. Only to find the floor was dirty filthy. Pretty sure I cleaned the floor better than it has been cleaned in months. 😡

This one night stay before leaving on our cruise was a night from hell. We arrived to find no free shuttle service although there was a shuttle van parked in from of the front desk area. We were told we could not get the room we had confirmed. We enter the room to a smell that was unidentifiable and very foul. We had no working alarm clock. Microwave was unplugged because it was sharing one outlet with a refrigerator. The road noise was so loud, due to no weatherstripping on the door. It appeared there were drug transactions occurring, because every hour we heard loud talking above us or next to us, many times there were arguments and swearing and screeching tires in the parking lot. I thought the Wyndham name would be safe, but will never stay at a Wyndham property ever again. I would like to be reimbursed for my cab fare of $40 for falsely advertising free shuttle service from the airport (according to the person we talked to on the phone, they hadn't had shuttle service for several years). That would have been plenty of time to update your website info.

Facility is what one would expect for the lower cost. Room had a musty smell but otherwise clean. TV did not work. Had to request a third set of towels as we were 3 on the booking. Be advised that the policy is $10/hour of early check in. Also there is no public bathroom. Management had great suggestion on nearby attractions.

Ok for a night. Run by a family that seems to care and wants to improve things. Room was clean and recently renovated. Bed and pillows were just Ok. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy and grounds could use a good clean up, lots of litter around, including cigarette butts, and even a broken bottle in the parking lot this morning. There are restaurants around, but I’d hesitate to walk around at night. Weather was humid and room retained that damp feel even after trying to adjust AC, which looked pretty new, to run enough to remove humidity without freezing us out. There is a breakfast, but it is just coffee, juice and granola bars.

I saw this was rated at 2-stars and thought, ok it's probably a 2-star in this location but elsewhere it might rate 3-stars when compared to other available hotels. No, it's a 2-star at best. There was mold in the shower. The t.v. remote was grungy, the bed sank in the middle. The door to the office is locked at all times and you have ring a bell to be let in so it gives the impression that it is in a sketchy neighbourhood. I wouldn't book with them again.

I would NEVER stay here again. The images shown for the property had no semblance to what the place actually looked like. If I could give it zero stars, I would. The staff was not helpful at all with any issue we had and offered no assistance to make our stay better.

It was all good until 3:30 a.m. when the couple next door decided to have hard sex. She was pretty loud I didn't want to interrupt them, but I didn't get any more sleep.... I seen them both in the morning on the patio and she said "I hope I didn' wake you last night.

This property is so neglected the price of $176 was price gauging because of the cruise lines. The bathroom faucet was loose, the shower faucet didn’t work correctly, the bedspread had holes & a stain, if you plan on going on a cruise & are coming a day earlier, just bite the nullet osy more or stay further away, never again

The room is dated, water was brown when i went to take a shower so waited till Ll i got on my cruise. Couldnt connect to wifi tv wouldnt work. toilet paper jammed in door peep hole, smoke detector and bathroom door hinge. Weird right,?? Lastly pillows on both beds were like couch throw pillows small

There was mold on the ceiling, it looked like someone had tried to kick the door in and it wouldn't close all the way at the bottom. And because of that, a lizard came in the room. There was no fire escape plan on the door (but i know to get the family the heck out), peeling paint everywhere, and the border around the mirror was falling off. Dont stay here. Theres WAY better out there.

This hotel is in very rough shape, my bed sheets had holes and stains in them, the bathroom door wouldn't even close and was in very rough shape, the exterior door didn't shut properly and although it latched we could see a lot of daylight come in

Unfriendly staff, promised free breakfast but told it was granola bars, none set out. They went out of their way to set some out for us (someone had walked away with the others) but they included nuts, which I cannot consume, due to a health issue. Odd experience; as a traveler for the past 42 years for business and personal matters, I have never before been treated with such personal-feeling disrespect (noted at checkout) though this was my first experience here and I had been expecting a normal hotel experience. The room was clean and comfortable. But the woman at the front desk was nickel and diming us. We arrived early around 10:30 AM. It was too early to get a room, so I asked if she could hold our luggage so we could get something to eat. She said she had to charge us $8 a bag (we had 4 bags) to hold for us. And if we wanted a room earlier, there was an extra charge for each hour we were early for that as well. We didn’t rent a car to put our luggage in since we were only staying overnight to take a cruise the next day. When I complained to her that I never heard of any motel or hotel doing that, that it’s usually a courtesy to hold luggage until the room is ready so we could go out to eat while waiting for a room. And if a room is available, it’s a courtesy to give it early, she got mad at us and kicked us outside with our luggage until a room was available. We wound up paying an extra $40 to get the room earlier. So because of this, I will never stay at this motel ever again.

they scammed me when i gave them the confirmation number they told me expedia had not released the funds and i needed to contact expidia i had never heard anything like his scam i tried in the app to get some help thru the chat got nowhere the super 8 said they were going to cancel my reservation the hurricane coming i had to dash out and find shelter i pray i would get a refund but i see the full charge on my credit card this hotel should br removed from the website i have used expedia 2 times ripped off by the hotels twice the time before in bartow florida the hotel had me place a 100 dollar deposit on my credit card at checkout the hotel had no power the hotel guy said the charge would be removed once they gad power that was a scam never refunded to my card that was he deluxe inn off bartow that was filthy and old furniture and bedding and blankeys were discusting

It is a friendly family run business in a great location for airport and cruiseship port. It is an older property, but the family has done a great job upgrading it so far. We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed our stay.

The stay was very affordable and extremely convenient for what i came over to do and it made my stay that much more enjoyable...everything was within a fairly reasonable distance for driving and if you wanted to walk it was still close by for a nice stroll.

Affordable prices, a clean room, and friendly staff. Its family operated, so that’s nice. It’s right on US1, so you get to hear Dodge Chargers, but for the price a good place to stay. Also not far from downtown Hollywood.

Unfriendly staff, promised free breakfast but told it was granola bars, none set out. They went out of their way to set some out for us (someone had walked away with the others) but they included nuts, which I cannot consume, due to a health issue. They refused to provide anything else—although we had paid for an “included free breakfast.” One staff member was downright rude and inhospitable at checkout. Odd experience; as a traveler for the past 42 years for business and personal matters, I have never before been treated with such personal-feeling disrespect (noted at checkout) though this was my first experience here and I had been expecting a normal hotel experience. The room smelled musty and moldy. The floor hadn't been vacuumed in ages and the rust around the bath tub was disgusting. The "breakfast" was muffins and watery orange juice. I would NEVER stay here again. The images shown for the property had no semblance to what the place actually looked like. If I could give it zero stars, I would. The staff was not helpful at all with any issue we had and offered no assistance to make our stay better.

Ok for a night. Run by a family that seems to care and wants to improve things. Room was clean and recently renovated. Bed and pillows were just Ok. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy and grounds could use a good clean up, lots of litter around, including cigarette butts, and even a broken bottle in the parking lot this morning. There are restaurants around, but I’d hesitate to walk around at night. Weather was humid and room retained that damp feel even after trying to adjust AC, which looked pretty new, to run enough to remove humidity without freezing us out. There is a breakfast, but it is just coffee, juice and granola bars.

This one is literally you get what you paid for BUT in a good way… the room we stayed was clean overall, we didn’t find hairs of previous guests or stains in the sheets, the shower although wasn’t spotless due to wear and tear was clean and worked fine, the furniture, microwave and fridge were in good but not mint condition which is enough for anyone who’s aware of the price per night and time the hotel has been around! The only “hair in the soup” for some people will be the fact that they don’t do the cleaning everyday but 2 or 3 times during the whole stay depending on the total of days you are staying, therefore some dust in the corners and under the bed might accumulate, also you’ll have to make your bed before you leave so it’s ready when you return and the trash should be taken to the outside binds so no odors stay inside after you eat something, besides that the owners are friendly if you are respectful to them, feel free to ask for a replacement of towels to them anytime, grab your morning coffee or juice as complementary drinks in the morning and value the fact that sleeping in a safe place with no noisy neighbors it’s more important that other commodities!
