I stayed here by myself - which can always be a little nerve wracking as a woman. The staff was very friendly when I arrived and even helped me with the vending machine that was being a little finicky. My room was clean and the features worked fine - AC, mini fridge, water, toilet, etc. It was completely quiet during my stay with no sketchy people staying near me - I'm not even sure if anyone else was even on my floor, which was a nice change of place from other locations I've stayed at before. Check out was quick and easy too.

Overall, very unhappy. From the "weekly room rental" advertised on their sign to the bulletproof glass the clerk sits behind, this location is awful. This is more of a no-tell-motel if that's what you're looking for. There was someone hanging out in a third floor window at all hours, watching everyone who walked in and out. The entire place smells like weed, try explaining that to young kids. The road is very busy and loud, even at night, don't expect to get much sleep. The beds were hard, the floors & bathroom were filthy, the curtain didn't cover the whole window & the extra pillows we were given had cases on them that looked like they were "last resort" pillowcases in someone's lake house basement. 10/10 AVOID IT!

Found a bottle of KY jelly moving a piece of furniture while trying to plug in my gaming system, also there was blood stains on the curtain. Moved hotels asap because I was In town visiting my son and I didn’t want him staying at a place like this. Definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When Informed the people working/living there they got rude. No apology, no sorry. 1/10 rating

The front desk area makes you feel unsafe. Its like the staff is affraid of the neighborhood. The rooms smell terribly of smoke. Even though we were supposedly in a non smoking room. We got a room for 4 ppl and there were only two sets of everything and then they told us to come down to get additional towels. Just not a good hotel.

The property is very outdated. Room smelled like pee. No Iron or board in the room. The free breakfast is a joke. If you want clean towels you have to go to front desk. The microwave & fridge is very old. I would never stay here ever again or recommend it. The price is way too high for this property.

Would not recommend this particular hotel. The location was okay and I did not have a choice since hotels in the area were all booked. The A/C was extremely noisy and sounded like it was falling apart. They installed a small metal shelf between the beds to plug in a cell phone, but it was not installed correctly and was very small. They needed to have a "real" table between the beds.

Despite being listed as dog friendly resort and booked as a service dog friendly room we were asked to leave cause "other people have allergies " . My service dog is clean well groomed ,Very well trained and pleasant manored, not destuctive or a barker . I just wanna be clear there were absolutely zero issues , We awoke to a knock on the door at 9:30 am by Remesh after a late check in the night earlier )saying we should have never been checked in by his employee . He had no concern we were 600 miles from home and still had 2 days left on our trip and made us leave . He did not even issue my card a refund ,claiming i can " get it back from expedia " .

This is a great location that serves a purpose...An inexpensive hotel near the airport and Kirkwood Athletic facility. There are plenty of fast food spots on that road. The staff are very sweet people.

It was fine. A quick overnighter. The mattress was not the most comfortable but definitely not the worse. Breakfast options consisted of donut holes or English muffins. I don’t remember there being anything else.

helpful staff and manager ,but breakfast was nonexistant.one eggo and three bags of oatmeal.We expected more for $180 a night.We wom't be going back on our next trip to New Castle.
