The room was comfortable for our needs. The breakfast voucher was helpful. Great to have the car in a safe place. Staff very kind. Next time we will book a bigger area.

Basic room with shower, good for an overnight stay.Tea/ coffee in room. Comfy bed, clean. Quite a few stair levels ( no lift) Overall happy with stay.

Has a brilliant stay here, The owners were fantastic and the hospitality was spot on and far better than anywhere we have stayed as a family recently. They went above and beyond with service from start to finish. The room was perfect with plenty of space for 3 adults, we had separate areas and 2 TV's was a great surprise. The bar in the evening was perfect and a great priced menu is on offer. We had the evening meal and it was home made and delicious. Breakfast had great variety too.

Car park near by, good location. Staff very friendly and welcoming. We had the value double room but was nicely done and great for what we needed. Will go back to try the larger rooms.

What a lovely stay we had at the B&B in Blackpool! Luke and John were extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was so pleasant, and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Their bar was inviting, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The room was lovely and neat, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. We couldn't have asked for more during our stay. We are looking forward to returning in the future!

I stayed in the single “comfort” room. It was spotlessly clean with a good shower. The bed was very comfortable. It was on the top floor (with a skylight) so you need to be able to climb quite a few stairs.

When we arrived there was no area down stairs to be greeted .. We were greeted just through the doorway as we came in & dealt with paperwork on a fruit machine .. The hotel was having renovation work being done downstairs .. All rooms are named & we stayed in the Ruby room .. Small but adequate enough for our only 1 night's stay Not gonna lie not sure I'd stay here again but if your looking for a room only base for a night or 2 then like I say its adequate enough

Great place and Luke and John really made us feel welcome and looked after us - can park there too for extra £8. Great value for money just what we needed was a clean room comfy bed and shower - also they selling carling and cider cheap can’t go wrong - very cheap for comfortable clean room with parking and lovely hosts

Had a great 2 nights stay this is a nice b&b with some modern finishing touches some work needs doing decor wise but it’s lovely beds were really comfy room wasn’t classed as sea view but we looked out to the right and could see the sea Breakfast was good Staff friendly John the owner the main staff member who attended to us very hard worker Lovely little bar great prices but we didn’t get a chance to use it If going to the pleasure beach again we would stay here again Parking was hard to find lot of the streets permit only but they’re are car parks around We enjoyed our stay overall

Worst hotel we've ever stayed at. Avoid at all possible costs. This referred to a hotel booking for 2 nights. Upon arriving, we quickly realised the room was unsuitable. It was absolutely filthy. It wasn't clean at all. It stank of smoke. The bedsheets had stains on them and hair all over them. The shower had black mould in it. We checked in around midnight (which the staff member seemed annoyed that we dared check in so late, despite us forth warning them of our arrival time months in advance and paying for a late check in). We then proceeded to wander the streets of Blackpool until 2am during a storm to find alternative accommodation. No hotels were available, so we were forced with no option but to return to the hotel and stay 1 night. It was the worst hotel night experience we've ever encountered. The fire alarm went off in our room at 3am, which nearly gave us a heart attack. We had to sleep with the window wide open just in an attempt to alleviate the stench of smoke. We then checked out early and forfeited our 2nd night. The hotel staff have since claimed there was nothing wrong with the room. No doubt they'll attempt to respond to this review with claims the room was fine. Trust me, it was not fine. It was the dirtiest room we've ever stayed in. We addressed the issues with the staff when we checked out early and the response was that they'd simply get another staff member to call us, which they of course never did.

We stayed for just one night and received a warm welcome from the staff, which was appreciated. However, we were disappointed to learn that breakfast was being served elsewhere due to renovation work. The room wasn’t as clean as expected, with marks on the toilet seat and coffee stains on the nightstand. It was also very noisy throughout the night — we could hear a creaking door repeatedly and footsteps in the corridor, with light shining under our door each time someone passed. The constant noise made it hard to sleep, and we ended up leaving early because we were so tired. I understand it was a budget stay, but the good reviews didn’t reflect our experience. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t book again, as we value a quiet and comfortable night’s rest.

We picked the B&B Blackpool because of its convenience to funny girls and it was in the ideal location and the manager who greated us was a lovely man We only booked a small double as we were only staying 2 nights. The room was fine clean and nicely decorated but the shower was so dirty. It had the plastic paneling in the walls and in between where each panel met was black dirt which would have come off with a good scrub We were told it was under renovation so we couldn’t have breakfast there we had to eat at a different hotel which I think we should have been told this before booking

John & Luke are lovely Hosts, very helpful and friendly. We had Clara room which is boutique style. We had an extra kids room, so plenty space for us. The hot breakfast exceeded my expectation, big plate and tasty. The towels and bedding were fresh and comfortable, but would have liked a hand towel. As we were at The Pigeon Weekend, we shower twice a day, so would have liked fresh towels daily, but not a major issue. We didn't get daily housekeeping as stated on Website. Room was a bit dusty in corners etc, but for the money we paid we were very comfortable. Wall clock was lovely, but the ticking kept me awake.

The rooms were immaculately clean and thoughtfully furnished 🛏️, providing a very comfortable stay. The staff were exceedingly hospitable and attentive, always ready to assist with a friendly smile ☺️. The location was perfect, offering easy access to all the main attractions and the seafront 🌊. Breakfast was delectable, featuring a wonderful variety of choices that catered to all tastes 🍳☕. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone planning a visit to Blackpool and would certainly choose to stay there again without hesitation. Truly a five-star experience 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!

Comfortable beds, however, cleanliness could be much better

Don’t book a single room! First impression - the whole place stank of cigarette smoke. The owner took me up to my tiny attic room, entered the room before me and rushed to close the blind - very awkward and presumably to hide all the mould on the surrounding paintwork). The room floor was splattered in paint with unpainted blobs of filler around the door frame. The sockets looked unsafe and there was a nail on the floor by the door. The owner told me there was no en suite bathroom – only a shared bathroom on the floor below. The room details on Expedia state ‘hydromassage shower head. Bath or shower.’ This is a blatant misdescription. The stairs up and down to the attic level are VERY steep. Beware if you have mobility issues or vertigo! The shared bathroom has a shower (with an ill-fitting curtain so the bathroom gets flooded) that’s caked in mould and the shared toilets on both floors have no toilet brush meaning they are caked in other people’s faeces. You WILL smack your head on the low ceiling above the bed several times! And the mattress is ultra-soft with a clearly defined dent that you inevitably fall into. My back and neck were wrecked after one night. Also no bedside table to place a drink etc. The hotel is in Blackpool’s gay quarter and covered in the associated paraphernalia, in case that isn’t where you want to be or you don’t want to explain to your kids what all that paraphernalia means. This is also left off the photos - another clear misdescription.

Traditional Blackpool B&B. Very friendly couple running it, bedroom immaculate and comfy. Utterly spotless, including the en suite. Bed super comfy. Slept really well. Kettle, TV, nicely fitted out room, felt at home. Located just north of the main attractions, but only a short walk, and of course a quiet location. Handy for the railway station too!

The shower room appeared to be new and recently decorated. However the wash basin was to small and difficult to have a shave in. There was no mirror either in the shower room.

The room was recently renovated and I was not expecting to get an onsuite which was great. However the mattress was pretty old and the room was so tiny that there was nowhere to lay out my things. The staff was very friendly and serviceable and the price was very good.

. I just wanted to share my recent experience during my stay at the hotel. The check-in process was nothing short of amazing - the staff were incredibly friendly and made it easy for me to settle in and find my way to the room. Upon entering my large double room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and comfort it offered. The lovely shower was a great touch, but it was the bed that truly stole the show. I must say, it was unbelievably comfortable - if it were possible, I would have taken it home with me! Not only was the room lovely and clean, but the breakfast was an absolute highlight of my stay. The full English breakfast was simply mouth-watering and incredibly satisfying. As I checked out, I couldn't help but feel happy and content with the overall experience. I just wanted to express my gratitude for such a pleasant stay. Looking forward to staying at the hotel again in the future.

Bed and bedding was top quality

We were sporadically affected by noisy residents especially after using the bar. The bar doesn’t seem to invite an atmosphere for quiet at night time. The B and B is in a great location close to the train station and key attractions. The breakfast was pretty good with a fine selection of croissants, pain aux chocolat, jams, yoghurt, cereal, fruit et cetera, it could be improved by sausages with a higher meat quality A polite notice to remind residents to be respectful between the hours of 11 and 7 would bode well. The room would have benefited also with some hanging pegs.

Stayed for 2 nights with husband got to say best nights sleep i had in a long time. Bed clean and very comfortable. Town centre 10 minute walk. Clubs and bars restaraunts on door step. Was made to feel very welcome fantastic host. Will be stopping here again thankyou very much for a fantastic stay. Well done keep doing what your doing

Fantastic value for money, lovely staff and great breakfast. My room even had a view of the tower! Close to North station and North pier is less than 10 minutes away. Would recommend.

It was clean, the bed was really comfortable. The towels are really tiny. We are told we had a room with no window which was fine, what we hadn’t been told was we needed to walk off site for our breakfast. I’m not particularly mobile and needed have the physical capability to walk the distance to the place we were meant to go to have our breakfast. That felt disappointing. Other than that the room itself was more than adequate.

The staff were outstanding, very helpful, i got help with my suitcase and i wss shown to my room. John and luke were lovely. Great location to everything. The room was very clean. I would stay there again. X

We have had the best experience here. The staff have been very accommodating and friendly. John , the bartender, was fantastic and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Free upgrade

Enjoyed it thoroughly both John and Luke were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble very helpful when asked for shows and places to eat

What a fabulous welcome. They couldn’t have been any more helpful. I’m not from the area so it was great that they could give me a map of the area so I could find the local pubs and clubs. The room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and really enjoyable, I had a fabulous shower and will definitely be returning

The owners were lovely - really welcoming and helpful. I would recommend the large room at the front of the property (room 4). 8 minute walk to Winter Gardens and less to sea front.

rooms were spotlessly clean,beds really comfy and showers piping hot. everything you need for a weekend stop in Blackpool. But the thing that really makes the hotel is the staff, Luke and john especially couldn't do enough for you .

I decided to leave early and stay in Liverpool for a night . I emailed to say I would arrive 4 pm on my first night and had to ask Expedia for help to get into the building after a 35 minute wait. Lots of building work going on but one redeeming thing was the low price for the room each night

The hotel wasn't far from the train station and not far from where I had to be for the concert I attended and I couldn't argue for the price of the single room and I had a good sleep and I had a warm welcome from the owners and it's pet friendly 😀

Visiting from New Zealand for the Lytham Festival, hotel was great value & exceeded expectations for our trip to Blackpool, friendly, helpful hosts and convenient location, away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

For a 2-star hotel, the experience was better than expected and the staff/owner was attentive, helpful, and a good resource. The room was comfortable and location was conveniently located to the ocean and activities, but far enough away from the crowds in Blackpool. All-in a very positive experience.

Super place to stay. I had the single room at the top, it was a lot of narrow stairs to climb and the room’s roof slopes down. Great value for the stay, including a full breakfast. Close to train station and 5 minutes from front. Was a shared toilet, which was not a problem, but it is down a flight of the narrowest stairs.

Made to feel very welcome,nothing was too much trouble, I was unable to get the cooked breakfast due to commitments, my wife enjoyed it

The bed was so uncomfortable - had castors and rolled about on the floor. Sink in bathroom far too small, could’t do your teeth and too high. Mirrors too high, plug sockets in random positions. Dirty behind the bed. Full English breakfast out in front of you without asking what you wanted for breakfast? No questions as to whether you were vegetarian or had any allergies

Just spent 3 nights here and enjoyed it. Check in nice and easy, and a cooked breakfast included for a great price. If I come back to Blackpool I’ll definitely consider staying again
