I would not recommend this as disabled access, you may only get around via lift to pool that reception begrundingly said was not really her job as she not employed by the Leisure services!! There was no signing to the pool indoor or outdoor, so we wandered around trying to find changing rooms eventually a lovely coloured lady from ?weight lifting room said hello and showed us the way. She ran upstairs bless her to get arm bands you need to access the lockers & a young lifegaurd who assisted me as males not allowed in female room. No family disabled room apart from way away from pools. When I complained to the front reception, she said it was your fault despite me showing your booking information. Had we not made appointments to see my 83year old sister the next day an ex-collegue we would have walked out there and then. I only booked here because one of daughters uses 'Bury' branch.Sadly my dream did not evolve the pool was full of long hairs wrapping round your fingers along with 20 mins later everyone was asked to exit the pool because GLASS had been found. I intend to notify Blackpool Tourist Board who forwarded me a list disability hotels along with Head Office Village Hotels, please confirm that you have notified them also, Angela E Trinder, RSMCW,SCM,RSCN,Msc,Phd.

I stayed here for two nights away on business. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The facilities are fantastic. If you get to use the pool and gym etc. they are very good and worth a bit of time. Especially at the end of a long day. Parking is very convenient and the staff are helpful and professional. One of the best village hotels I’ve been too.

Great hotel set on landscaped grounds including a golf course. 40 min walk from Blackpool Tower or 10 min in car. Staff friendly and helpful, Room large and well equipped ( just needs somewhere to hang towels in bathroom ) bed comfy, nice view. Swimming pool and spa was good, very relaxing, outside pool a bonus ( heated). Had 2 meals in bar and grill and was very pleased with the food including taste, presentation and portion. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Love this village hotel . Over night with 5 yr old grandson . Booked early check in. Staff on reception were brilliant. Made sure we received all the information we needed to access the pool with the little one. Pool changing room were spotless and both pools were warm and sparkling cleam.

Club rooms have two single mattresses pushed together - topper not effective. Leisure facilities packed / couldn’t get in the sauna or steam room. Revisited later in the evening as I was told it was quiet / sauna still stuffing people and no seats. Hotel comes secondary to a hugely busy gym.

Very good. The staff were all very busy, but bent over backwards to help. Loads of facilities on site. The Pub and Grill serves fantastic food and service was quick. It is very busy, so the pool, breakfast, and restaurant feels crowded, but it’s still fantastic for the price you pay for a night. We’ll be back.

Excellent hotel stay with some brilliant surroundings. The check in process could have been easier, its all on a tablet, but still asked if we wanted to add parking and leisure club access even though this was provided with the Club Room. The leisure club facilities were excellent, clean and plenty of space. The staff were friendly and helpful and both the indoor and outdoor pool were spotless. The room was fresh, although there were some cleanliness issues room very dusty, and shower tray had mucky stains on it. The surroundings are what set this place apart, beautiful grounds and peaceful. The bar was a great place to while away tue evening

The stay overall was ok. Nothing great nothing too negative (apart from the used tampon on the floor in the ladies changing room) the bedroom was clean but WAY too hot. We slept with the window open and a fan on all night but it was still too warm. The food was ok.

Hotel room was dust/dirty on arrival. Stains all over the carpet. Carpet hadn't been hoovered, found an old tea spoon lying at the side of the bed. Toilet roll never got replenished on the Saturday meaning we had to use an alternative toilet. Room during the 3 night stay never once got cleaned. My son accidentally sat on some blueberries and subsequently stained the bedding, the sheets were never changed for the 3 nights. This stay was extremely disappointing considering the cost for 3 nights. I have taken this further and contacted the Village Hotel customer services direct.

As a family of 5 we booked a room with x2 doubles and we took our own travel cot check in was from 3pm we arrived at 3:10 finally got our room at 4:15 after having to wait in reception with a 12 month old who was tired and hungry we finally got our room there was a big wet stain on the sofa bed the place was disgusting we checked under the bed due to my baby toddling and found chocolate bar wrappers hair pins half eaten mouldy chips bottle tops the ceiling had a squashed spider on it the fan supplied was thick with dust my husband had to take it apart and wash it in the bathroom before we could use it which we needed to as the room was so hot the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work the whole room needs a deep clean not a quick wipe over like it seems to have had since the place opened

Very disappointed, my second recent stay. Room very cold, rang via reception number but no help given, chunks of hair in bathroom, mentioned to issues to staff, showed photos and was told i hope i wasn't put off. Doubtful I will stay again even though I was hoping to find a decent base

Nice area with EV fast charging network. The hotel is very tech and quite modern in Blackpool area with self check in with no people in the counter nor any button to call a staff. Free car parking with lots of space. 1 thing to mention is that the key will locked automatically at 11am and you can’t get in anymore. And there are no telephone in the room and they suggested using the online chat to find a staff but no one response. However, the room is quite clean and comfortable.

Loved the hotel however the only down fall was the heavy bedroom doors made it for a really unsettled nights sleep as the doors were so loud even when trying to close them quietly and could hear them all down the corridor from inside our room.

Easy to find, picked for convenience and the fact it had a pool. Quite loud downstairs in the bar area but bedroom was very quiet although it was cold and the heating wasn’t working properly, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Shame there was no bath as we had our 18 month old grandson but didn’t spoil our stay.

Staff are really nice, facilities are great, food good ! The room was spacious & clean but too warm. Sleep, however, was impossible due to the 'entertainment' - a guy singing ( terribly) as loud as he could midnight then misic on full blast keeping me & my kids awake until 1am !

No Issues, room was clean, and adequate parking. The only issue I have is the miniature cups in the room which are way too small. I have never seen cups this small in a hotel room before. Cups at breakfast are normal size so not sure why the room had miiature cups. Also the room does not have enough plugs and no plugs near the bed, but apart from that everything was fine. I would recommend.

No A/C. Room was ridiculously hot. Small fan provided no way near adequate! No dressing table removing the ability for my wife to get ready. Lift not working!!! Breakfast 6:30 to 9:00. Ideal for working guests. Crazy early finish for holiday stays

I was using the hotel as a business user staying in room 331. The hotel is situated in a very lovely location and the staff were friendly and polite. The room I stayed in was nice and clean. As a business user I had a challenge when using the desk as there was no light there not even a lamp. The USB charging points found next to the bed only power up if you turn the bedside lamp on. Which I only found out in the morning when I realised my phone had not charged. When I stayed there was only luke warm water from the shower or basin tap. As it was a hot day and night, this was not an issue for me. What was an issue, was that there was no air conditioning, just a cheap £9 plastic desk fan that was too noisy to sleep with on. I was disappointed in the grille/bar that there was no table service (I would have stayed for a pudding and another drink if there was) nor did anyone come and check that everything was okay with my meal.

The hotel gave a good impression but it was not reflected in my room. It was a family room with bunk beds which took up most of the floor space. As I was travelling alone, it would have been nice to spread out a bit and not feel so Closter phobic.

My only issue was with the room service. I ordered a salad on Tuesday 15th and when it hadn't arrived after an hour and a bit, I went down to the bar / grill to enquire. They knew about it but also said they never received the ticket. Nobody let me know, the order was accepted and paid for and I had to wait for 1.5 hours to receive a salad. Not good enough.

That hotel is absolutely sh1t. The room service don’t t do anything. The waiters in the pub and grill kept going up and down with orders asking if it was ours . We went out in the morning and came back at 8pm and the room hadn't had anything done to it except put towels and empty the bin. The dirty towels were left in the shower, the cups we had used for coffee in the morning were still there. we went down to reception to be told that they couldn't give us clean cups as they had no access to the cups. The breakfast was rubbish only one option of badly cooked eggs and cold beans. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE. The building looks pretty but that place is a sh1thole and the staff are as thick as anything absolutely sh1t and they don’t want to do anything to help. We ordered wings for starters that only came 45 minutes later after the main meal and a guy came up to us saying that the wings weren't appearing as a starter on their system. The facilities at the hotel are really fabulous but they are let down by insufficient staff ratios and for those who have turned in, basic customer service skills … some were just rude. The hotel has moved to self check in, so don’t hold your breathe if you want a welcome to the hotel or to receive basic information like what time breakfast is. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived 2.5 hours after check in, no apology and it wasn’t until the manager intervened a new room found. Breakfast was chaos, again insufficient staff to clean down and seat people meant diners were left waiting for over 20 minutes - although quality and choice of breakfast items was good. The outstanding facilities and free parking makes it possible to overlook staff incompetencies.

Very nice. Quite a trek down to the attractions & sea front. Would be nice if they ran a shuttle a several times a day. Facilities very nice, just on my stay, all the soap dispensers in the changing rooms were empty.

Large hotel with plenty of things to do. Although it’s away from the strip it’s a quick taxi to the sea, where there are lots of bars and restaurants. The bar and grill in the hotel is a nice place to sit especially in the sun although a bit pricey on the drinks. Roughly £7 a pint. Would visit again

We had a great stay here. The setting was lovely and great if you wanted to enjoy Blackpool but wanted somewhere more peaceful to stay. Our room was upgraded as all the king rooms were full, which was very handy as we had a new born. However, it seemed that the king rooms would have been big enough anyway. We had access to the pool, which was great. Our only slight gripe was that the room was quite chilly. It was fine when the heater was on but you had to keep turning it on every hour. Over all, we will definitely stay here again and the staff were lovely!

Room was ok, no black out curtains just blinds, pool was good. Had a meal in the pub and grill waited 1hr 20 mins to be served from ordering. I did mention it to the bar staff and they did give me a round of drinks as compensation. Nice hotel and staff

Pleasant hotel. Good bar and great food with reasonably priced drinks. Rooms are big and very clean, decent bathroom and good showers. The bed was very firm which on a personal preference was too firm for me and the pillows we very very lumpy but that was the only negative.

Cheap hotel with an expensive price tag. Nothing special. Food was pretty poor. Had a mixed grill for 30 quid and it was the frozen meat that you get in the cheap chains that has been thawed out. Definitely not worth the money and that’s the hotel, the room and the food.

Nice relaxing stay but let down by quality of food & the expense at pub & grill, £30 for steak dinner & had to send it back, booked a table earlier & it wasn’t available because the night before we were told at 6 o’clock that we couldn’t book a table for that night ? Although we sat down on an empty table & ordered at the bar !
