Dissapointed! The first surprise was that there was no parking. You have no choice but to valet for $50 per day. This is a joke because this particular hotel is in the middle of no where! They call it Hyatt deer valley, but really its 15mins from deer valley by Jordanelle resevoir! When i think of valet, I think of downtown! Places where parking would be a problem, they simply did not use any of their footprint for parking; and we pay the price! This is the kind of place that will nickle and dime you to death! You're better off staying at one of the lodges! My biggest gripe is that the bed is very uncomfortable! It is way too soft and offers no support for your body! I'm only 180lbs, and I could only imagine a larger person trying to sleep on it. My wife and I got no sleep, constantly turning trying to ease our sore bodies. I do not recommend. I think this place is over priced and not looking out for their guest's. I will say, that the place is absolutely beautiful! Very nice pool, lobby and fitness center. They also have a restaurant and a coffee shop. I asked the mgr. When I checked in if they had coffee, and he sent me to the coffee shop in the basement, but it was closed at 5pm

The service blew me away from the second we pulled up to valet. The hotel is so clean, fresh and inviting. The views are beautiful and restaurants, fitness room and cafe are perfect! Plenty to do here with outdoor games for adults/children not to mention the beautiful pool and hot tub.

Had to check this place out while in town visiting family. I have to say I will be back. Beautiful building, brand new on the other side of Deer Valley. Great coffee shop. Amazing pool and hot tub. Great kids lounge with ping pong, video games, etc. There is some construction in the area, but the views, activities, facilities, and service made it our new go to spot in Deer Valley/Park City.

Smack dab between Heber and Park City, very different little towns with some good restaurants and shops. The area is going to be a nice resort someday, but the current construction ruins the vibe just a little. This stay was full of thoughtful touches—the room was nice, the staff were very friendly, and the "high hot chocolate experience" was a lot of fun! The pool area was very nice, and we really enjoyed all the outdoor seating with warm fire. (A s'mores bar nearby would've been fun too!) It was a little hard to find information about parking online, so we weren't sure what to expect, but it's valet-only, at $50 or $60 a night depending on your vehicle's size. You can ski right out of the resort and come back to food and hot cocoa and rest, which seems really nice. If I'm ever skiing in the area, I'll definitely come back!

This is a brand new amazing property ....they working on getting Spa ...but the bar, restaurant, gym amenities, access to DV lift is excellant...they still getting bar tender and staff customer service down but it's really good or least equivalent to Montage / Regis / Erickson ...the Hidden Aces speak easy is Great and the rms are huge ...only criticism we had was beds & pillow could be better ..they are harder then you'd expect for this lvl resort ..softer pillows / mattress should be looked at...other this place is a jewel and will be amazing property for DV purely from access to mountain alone !!!

Overall the Grand Hyatt was absolutely beautiful! It is in a newer area with beautiful views and fun amenities. Our kids especially loved the kids game room, my wife loved the coffee shop, and I personally loved the gym. The only issue was the main floor wing had a sewage smell. Hope to come back and enjoy when this is solved.

Beautiful hotel. Would’ve given it 5 stars, except that I got back to my room one night and the door was left open. I’m assuming it was from housekeeping. When I mentioned it, to 2 different people, neither of them seemed very concerned. Not a very secure feeling.

The property was great. Super clean and beautful. The staff was amazing. The only thing that really sucked if your a light sleeper the beds have automatic lights at the bottom base that come on when you step down off the bed and at night if you get up to go to the bathroom it wakes everyone up because the lights turn on. If they had a switch to turn them off then it might be a great idea but not good if you are a light sleeper. Not sure I’d stay again.

We are especially grateful to the front desk team: Carter and CK for taking such great care of us and anything we needed throughout our stay. The minute you drive up, the valet staff: Ross & Delores were the warmest welcome and made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to come back soon- thanks for an incredible experience.

The Grand Hyatt at Deer Valley is a beautiful and secluded resort with breathtaking views of the Jordanelle Reservoir. We stayed over the July 4th weekend and would absolutely consider returning. That said, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. The main restaurant, Remington Hall, fell short. We dined there for both lunch and dinner and found the food and service to be subpar. At breakfast, the staff was clearly overwhelmed. It took over an hour to receive our meals, and when they arrived, there were errors that required sending the food back. Ultimately, we left without eating rather than endure another long wait. The pool experience on July 4th was also a challenge. As expected, it was busy, but we were surprised to find that the cabanas carried hefty Las Vegas-style surcharges, and all the regular pool chairs were taken. We later learned the hotel sells day passes for pool access, which created added crowding and frustration for overnight guests. Though we were placed on a waitlist and received seating within about an hour, it seemed a number of guests were affected. It would be helpful if the hotel considered blackout dates for day passes during high-traffic holidays to ensure guests have priority access. At checkout, we encountered confusion regarding our final bill. The initial deposit was not clearly explained upon arrival, and several pending charges appeared on our account before checkout, with no clear breakdown.

Dissapointed! The first surprise was that there was no parking. You have no choice but to valet for $50 per day. This is a joke because this particular hotel is in the middle of no where! They call it Hyatt deer valley, but really its 15mins from deer valley by Jordanelle resevoir! When i think of valet, I think of downtown! Places where parking would be a problem, they simply did not use any of their footprint for parking; and we pay the price! This is the kind of place that will nickle and dime you to death! You're better off staying at one of the lodges! My biggest gripe is that the bed is very uncomfortable! It is way too soft and offers no support for your body! I'm only 180lbs, and I could only imagine a larger person trying to sleep on it. My wife and I got no sleep, constantly turning trying to ease our sore bodies. I do not recommend. I think this place is over priced and not looking out for their guest's. I will say, that the place is absolutely beautiful! Very nice pool, lobby and fitness center. They also have a restaurant and a coffee shop. I asked the mgr. When I checked in if they had coffee, and he sent me to the coffee shop in the basement, but it was closed at 5pm

Smack dab between Heber and Park City, very different little towns with some good restaurants and shops. The area is going to be a nice resort someday, but the current construction ruins the vibe just a little. This stay was full of thoughtful touches—the room was nice, the staff were very friendly, and the "high hot chocolate experience" was a lot of fun! The pool area was very nice, and we really enjoyed all the outdoor seating with warm fire. (A s'mores bar nearby would've been fun too!) It was a little hard to find information about parking online, so we weren't sure what to expect, but it's valet-only, at $50 or $60 a night depending on your vehicle's size. You can ski right out of the resort and come back to food and hot cocoa and rest, which seems really nice. If I'm ever skiing in the area, I'll definitely come back!

I believe we were one of the first guests to stay at this hotel and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The hotel is beautiful and brand new, but the best part was the staff. They were very accomodating and helpful in answering all of our questions. We ate at Remington Hall our first night and the food was incredible. They also have a great wine list and lots of fun cocktails.

Had to check this place out while in town visiting family. I have to say I will be back. Beautiful building, brand new on the other side of Deer Valley. Great coffee shop. Amazing pool and hot tub. Great kids lounge with ping pong, video games, etc. There is some construction in the area, but the views, activities, facilities, and service made it our new go to spot in Deer Valley/Park City.

So happy to have chosen this property. They are so welcoming, friendly and professional. Very genuine people that work here and hopefully that never changes. Thank you to Angel who helped us out tremendously when we had came in late from a delayed flight. All of the staff including valet, restaurant employees etc. check on you and engage in conversation everyday. The coffee shop is amazing and has some of the best iced coffee I’ve ever had. Game room is amazing it has ps5s and is kept so organized. Unfortunately we did not get to use the pool as it was still finishing its lasts inspections but it looked amazing. The Valet is so nice and each employee is outstanding not one negative experience. Restaurant inside has amazing breakfast. I will be posting a video review on my social medias as well with my experience. We hope to come back soon when the ski slopes and lifts are ready.
