Tap is broken but it dont be fixed along 3 days.

I stayed with them for one night paying £170 per night. There was some noise coming from the window side ceiling and night shift manager refused to shift me to a different room or fix the issue as it isn’t fixable (due to some noisy toilet pipe installation). In the middle of the night, I was going up and down to get it fixed. Manager wants to compensate the issue with a breakfast. And asked me to adjust with the sound saying that they didn’t have anymore rooms. I knew that was a lie as it wasn’t that busy day. He didn’t want to give a new room as it would be a waste for him to do the room cleaning again. Such a crappy experience where I lost 3 hrs of my sleep. Horrible experience which I didn’t expect in central London.

Make sure you check the size of the rooms before you book. A standard room here runs you under 200 sq. Ft. The bed barely fits, and you have no room to place your baggage or move around. I booked a king standard room which was small. The first night was manageable, but the morning after we kept getting a smoke smell, as if someone had been smoking in/around the room. We asked to be moved by phone, but no one came. I had to go personally to guest services to ask for a new room. They did provide a new room. However, the room they provided was a complete downgrade to an even smaller room with a queen size bed. Total rip off. In addition to that the new room had a mini fridge that did not work. I asked them to come change out the mini fridge a couple of times and they never did that. Also, our room was freezing cold, it took the heater 20-30 min to come on, after making crazy crackling noises and even then it didnt heat the room enough at night. I would have to turn off the heater to get some sleep due to all the noise it made. Overall, The Hotel looks nice in the common areas such as lobby, starbucks lounge and bar lounge. The location is great, But the rooms need some serious updating/remodeling.
