Hotel is going through renovations so no bar downstairs. Stayed in a new room which is a nice update to the original hox, no change to bathroom which I think is a miss as could do with an update

Hip facility, small but pleasantly decorated room. Functional bathroom. Lobby and restaurants excellent to host a client or friend. Good vibe. The crowd is a bit of the young and anti-social (hurried in their phones) clan, but that's everywhere these days. Fun to sip your drink and observe. I'd stay at the Hoxton at my next trip to London.

Excellent room and staff outstanding. Roof top restaurant excellent. Only down size was lobby area was always full with young people on computers. Very limited seating because of it for social gatherong with family friends

The room and staff were fantastic. Building work was happening on the 1st and 2nd floors while I was there and I wasn’t informed either before booking or on check in. This was quite disruptive since it starts quite early and goes on all day. I was also informed afterwards that this is due to go on for the rest of the year so plan accordingly. I raised this with management and their idea of rectifying this issue was to offer an undisclosed preferential rate on a future stay.

The room was gorgeous and so clean! Unfortunately it was a very noisy room, the property opposite had a delivery lorry arrive around 11:30pm and it was so loud. There were also people shouting in the corridor. The mattress wasn’t comfortable at all so not the best for a restful sleep. I would have loved to relax in the lobby but it was absolutely crammed full of people on laptops every time I went down there. The front desk staff were really lovely though and the breakfast bag was great value and a nice touch.

The hotel was clean, modern and in a perfect location. It was close to tube transportation and walkable to many bars and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at the Hoxton Shoreditch and would do it again!

Rooms are not cleaned unless requested. I cut my foot on broken glass left at he side of my bed. The response from the hotel could have been better. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable, but that’s personal taste.

Cool ambiance at this location, and we could easily walk to many local restaurants and coffee spots. The subway is close by as well. The rooms are small but well laid out. I do wish there were USB outlets by the bed, I found the room to be a bit too dark (I know it’s the vibe, but still), and would’ve liked an additional lighting option. The bathroom was nice but it was slightly annoying that the bathroom did not accommodate a hair dryer and there was no magnifying mirror. Additionally, our room was a bit noisy as we could hear everything going on in the hallway (and in other rooms), and there seemed to be intermittent loud activity in the back alley that we faced. Lastly, you do need to request housekeeping, but they forgot to come to our room anyway which was disappointing. Overall, we did really like this hotel and the vibe was great, but a few minor issues prevent this from being 5 stars.

Room was located on the 2nd floor, quite worn down interior, there was no housekeeping service and after our complaint they mentioned that we must order this service. No one gave us this information when checking in. After we came back in the late evening, there were still no fresh towels and no water refill. Kinda frustrating for such a steep price. Hairdryer was not working properly, same goes for showerhead. Disappointing stay for a lot of money.

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were excellent, as we have come to expect from Hoxton Hotels (this is our fourth of there properties), very friendly and chatty. We love Hoxtons as they have a very relaxed feel to them whilst still being excellent when it comes to hospitality and service. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The food was excellent and the whole bar/restaurant was buzzing. At the weekends they have a DJ in the evening and it was great seeing it was busy. We are a bit older so after a three course meal and a show we nipped off to bed before 11pm and didn't hear a peep. The location is great and just a 5 minute walk from Old Street Underground. We can't recommend it enough.

Had to wait an hour for a simple room service order that still didn’t arrive when I called to chase and was told it would be 2 mins. Had to cancel in the end as was already late leaving for the evening. At breakfast the food was nice but the service was very unfriendly. Shame as nice hotel and nice room

Absolutely terrible service. The front desk charged me twice. Even when I pointed that out immediately, they refused to correct it. The hotel is noisy. The hallways are messy. The rooms are not worth the price.

This is a good quality mid-tier hotel with nice staff. Note the location is on a very busy road, not in the ‘character’ streets of Shoreditch. It is, however, completely walkable to everywhere in that part of London.

We stayed 27-30th July our trip was great, the hotel was incredible our room was spacious clean and very chic, all the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful would definitely recommend and we will be staying here when we visit next it was also a 5 min walk from old street tube station so super convenient

Hoxton is situated in the heart of Shoreditch, so right in the middle of bars, clubs, shopping. There is bus access nearby, but underground you have a fair bit of walk. The hotel itself is simply “cool” in many ways. The rooms are a great size for a few night stay, with the comforts, and amenities you’d expect from a nice hotel. Bathroom, also a really good size, they didn’t cut it in half like many other London rooms (even price considered). Mixed bag of staff, some disinterested, others happy to help, but no one was unkind at all. The lobby bar is actually a vibe every night, so that is a massive win. Restaurant pricey but pretty good. Definitely would return, as there are really no negatives unless you’re on a tight budget.

It's a beautiful hotel! My room was comfy and quite. The staff were friendly and helpful. Shoreditch is a great area to stay given all the shops and restaurants and proximity to the Tube. I will definitely stay here when I'm in London next.

Have stayed before and this location is ideal for local amenities and access onwards. Room is cosy but lacking storage, and was disappointed to realise that a service charge was automatically added to drinks bought at the bar. I have no issue paying a tip for table service, but if I am queueing at a bar, where is the service?! Reception staff lovely and helpful.

Room was good breakfast service was terrible. Waiting staff ignoring guests waiting to be seated, had to ask multiple times for water. Miserable waiting staff. When I asked for butter they took the discarded one from the table next to me.
