The hotel was fantastic in almost every way. Our Room (upgraded king) was spacious and very quiet. The staff were helpful and the location was right in the tourist area without bars or clubs around. The hotel is dark inside in the halls and the gym/spa is small. The staff will help you access the spa 24/7 so that’s awesome you want a steam after a long evening out. The only issue we had is parking, Although the hotel notes included parking they have limited stalls behind the hotel. We were lucky to get one a pass and could access one of the 6 stalls if they had room. We had to pay for parking for a while once Evening until contractors left the spaces. That could be better outlined in the information about the hotel.

Dejligt hotel med super beliggenhed - Havde booket et stort værelse med udsigt over Harpa og blev ikke skuffet. Fik hjørneværelset med fritstående badekar og vidunderlig ambience og dejlig stor seng med Egyptisk bomulds betræk. Lækkert steambad og Hot tub i kælderen. Jeg kommer igen

They have two words for everything that I paid for and they don't provide; we're sorry. I chose this hotel because we needed a parking space which was supposed to be included. They said we're sorry but it's not available. Coffee machine was broken but they were sorry because they can't fix or replace it. So many other things were subpar. Parking was the big deal since it caused a lot of trouble

O hotel é muito bem localizado. Funcionários prestativos e simpáticos. Muitas obras de arte no hall do hotel q me encantaram. O único problema é q as vagas do estacionamento são limitadas e no primeiro dia não conseguimos lugar. O café da manhã é bem simples porém com preço adequado para o q fornece. Voltaria com certeza!

Great location with a wonderful view. The staff was very nice and there’s a parking garage about a block away. There were not convenient outlets by the bed or in the bathroom and the toilet was not separated from the sleeping area very well. Would stay here again though.

This hotel was so cool: art filled modern hotel, beautifully decorated lobby, bar/breakfast room was gorgeous. The hotel attendants were warm and helpful. Particularly loved going to the spa and sitting in the tiled hot tub after a late dinner. So relaxing. Some rooms have an open shower where you can see the shower from the bed, wasn’t that big of a deal just took a second to get used to it. Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city, walkable to everything!

This is a beautifully designed hotel. The rooms are a good size and the bed is comfortable. The gym is well equipped and the hotel spa is a definite bonus, it had a steam room and hot tub which was very relaxing. I enjoyed my stay here very much. My only complaint is that all of the rooms have an open concept bathroom, so there are no doors in the bathroom area and showers. If you like privacy, it’s definitely not for you but it’s beautifully designed.

Pros and cons for this hotel. Cons: We were on front of hotel on 4th floor and on the weekend there was a lot of street noise and we could hear music from a club close by (all going on until early morning). The owner of the hotel and hotel staff were not overly friendly, but front desk was at least helpful (we had to go to Marriott Edition to meet one of our tours had 3 different staff greet us, offer to assist us, then just engage in friendly chit chat and we were not even staying there). Lastly our room was clean but had a modern minimal vibe, it was just not user friendly or cozy. Somehow just not convenient for trying to keep all our "travel stuff" organized. Mini frig temp was room temp even when temp turned low. You could not get close to the one bathroom mirror to put on makeup. Bathroom was completely open to bedrm and toilet had only frosted glass for walls and door (think echoing fish bowl). Pros: The hotel was in a great location for the main shopping and restaurant area of Reykjavik. It was across from bus stop 6 where many tours pickup. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. They provided a converted (but we did bring our own). We were traveling with another couple and decided over all the pros slightly out weighed the cons for us but for the cost of the room we expected a more luxurious or at least cozy room and would have liked staff to be friendly and more more accommodating considering they are in the hospitality industry.

This was a wonderful hotel, and I would recommend it to anybody staying in Reykjavik! The staff were so kind and polite, and the facilities were clean and relaxing. The location is perfect and walk able to many bars, shops, restaurants. We spent many days before the hotel in a camper van traveling and this was the perfect stop to end the trip for 2 nights.
This was a wonderful hotel, and I would recommend it to anybody staying in Reykjavik! The staff were so kind and polite, and the facilities were clean and relaxing. The location is perfect and walk able to many bars, shops, restaurants. We spent many days before the hotel in a camper van traveling and this was the perfect stop to end the trip for 2 nights.

The hotel itself is interesting. Located on a corner and its not highly visable. But the overall location is perfect walking to everything! No coffee pot in the room, you need to arrange for one at a nominal fee. Didn't realize that until the morning. The staff was amazing. The room was clean. The neighbors were loud (which is not the hotels doing).

Við hjónin ætluðum að eiga rómantíska helgi í miðbænum. Dvöldum í svítunni sem var illa skipulögð og engan veginn hægt að láta fara vel um sig. Baðkarið var eini plúsinn en það var enginn sófi og einungis einn hægindastóll og pínulítið sjónvarp inn í skáp. Þrátt fyrir að vera upp á fjórðu hæð þá sváfum við ekki dúr fyrir hávaða frá götunni þar sem fólk var að djamma.
Við hjónin ætluðum að eiga rómantíska helgi í miðbænum. Dvöldum í svítunni sem var illa skipulögð og engan veginn hægt að láta fara vel um sig. had two nights at the 101 hotel and booked a room with a balcony (515)...the room was very comfortable along with the bed, but the pillows were too soft to lay your head on, need firm with a soft. bathroom was very clean and everything worked fine. breakfast which is not included and should be from what was available was good along with the service.

I could not sleep for many hours due to a very loud music venue next door. They need to sound proof the rooms. Also our windows were bizarre. Temperature control poor. The sink is not functional it is located in the room itself with limited space.

We got the suite which was really well considered in terms of the layout. The design of the place was great, just the right amount formal and relaxed. It felt very peaceful being there. It's thoughtfully done. A couple small quibbles: the room card keys deprogrammed easily, inconvenient. And if you take a bath there was no dedicated shampoo / conditioner / body soap so you had to walk over to the shower which had stationary containers of these. But everything worked so smoothly that those things felt like tiny details within a wonderful stay.

This is a beautifully designed hotel. The rooms are a good size and the bed is comfortable. The gym is well equipped and the hotel spa is a definite bonus, it had a steam room and hot tub which was very relaxing. I enjoyed my stay here very much. My only complaint is that all of the rooms have an open concept bathroom, so there are no doors in the bathroom area and showers. If you like privacy, it’s definitely not for you but it’s beautifully designed.

The hotel was fantastic in almost every way. Our Room (upgraded king) was spacious and very quiet. The staff were helpful and the location was right in the tourist area without bars or clubs around. The hotel is dark inside in the halls and the gym/spa is small. The staff will help you access the spa 24/7 so that’s awesome you want a steam after a long evening out. The only issue we had is parking, Although the hotel notes included parking they have limited stalls behind the hotel. We were lucky to get one a pass and could access one of the 6 stalls if they had room. We had to pay for parking for a while once Evening until contractors left the spaces. That could be better outlined in the information about the hotel.

We would like to thank the noce young lady at the reception on arrival. Although we were very early she did her utmost to get a room prepared whilst we could drink a nice coffe. All staff we met was very friendly. Room was nice, modern with all options you may expect.

Pros and cons for this hotel. Cons: We were on front of hotel on 4th floor and on the weekend there was a lot of street noise and we could hear music from a club close by (all going on until early morning). The owner of the hotel and hotel staff were not overly friendly, but front desk was at least helpful (we had to go to Marriott Edition to meet one of our tours had 3 different staff greet us, offer to assist us, then just engage in friendly chit chat and we were not even staying there). Lastly our room was clean but had a modern minimal vibe, it was just not user friendly or cozy. Somehow just not convenient for trying to keep all our "travel stuff" organized. Mini frig temp was room temp even when temp turned low. You could not get close to the one bathroom mirror to put on makeup. Bathroom was completely open to bedrm and toilet had only frosted glass for walls and door (think echoing fish bowl). Pros: The hotel was in a great location for the main shopping and restaurant area of Reykjavik. It was across from bus stop 6 where many tours pickup. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. They provided a converted (but we did bring our own). We were traveling with another couple and decided over all the pros slightly out weighed the cons for us but for the cost of the room we expected a more luxurious or at least cozy room and would have liked staff to be friendly and more more accommodating considering they are in the hospitality industry.

This was a wonderful hotel, and I would recommend it to anybody staying in Reykjavik! The staff were so kind and polite, and the facilities were clean and relaxing. The location is perfect and walk able to many bars, shops, restaurants. We spent many days before the hotel in a camper van traveling and this was the perfect stop to end the trip for 2 nights.

Right from the moment of check in, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Luz, in particular, went out of her way to make my stay in Reykjavík memorable with her suggestions and help with bookings. Great location for easy access to restaurants and major sites. Only one luggage rack. Major drawback is the hallways are incredibly dark and, even after you take the elevator to your floor, there are 5-6 steps you have to navigate with your luggage and there are no lights and no handrail.

had two nights at the 101 hotel and booked a room with a balcony (515)...the room was very comfortable along with the bed, but the pillows were too soft to lay your head on, need firm with a soft. bathroom was very clean and everything worked fine. breakfast which is not included and should be from what was available was good along with the service.

O hotel é muito bem localizado. Funcionários prestativos e simpáticos. Muitas obras de arte no hall do hotel q me encantaram. O único problema é q as vagas do estacionamento são limitadas e no primeiro dia não conseguimos lugar. O café da manhã é bem simples porém com preço adequado para o q fornece. Voltaria com certeza!

The hotel itself is interesting. Located on a corner and its not highly visable. But the overall location is perfect walking to everything! No coffee pot in the room, you need to arrange for one at a nominal fee. Didn't realize that until the morning. The staff was amazing. The room was clean. The neighbors were loud (which is not the hotels doing).
