Location was close to the bay which was nice. Not a bad spot to travel to and from Redwood NP. Downsides is that it's on a very busy and loud street and you can definitely hear the people above you. Parking is also tight.

Great location, right next to lots of local shops. I was able to just go outside and get great seating for the parade and fireworks during the Fourth. Staff was friendly, and the wifi was good. My only complaint is that there is not enough parking for how many rooms they have.

The room and bed were comfortable. We stayed on a Thursday night, which meant a totally full parking lot (good for the owners!). Even with the crowds, it was still quiet overnight. No food at the hotel, but there's a fantastic brewery and restaurant nearby (Seaquake Brewing) and a coffee spot a few blocks away from the water and west of the hotel.

Nice rooms, friendly staff. Location is right across the street from the ocean. There's a great little dinner (Elise's) right around the corner, and a Tesla supercharger is a block away. Area around the motel doesn't feel the safest (but isn't awful), but their parking lot is well lit with lots of security cameras.

The staff was nice enough, but they didn't tell me about their pet fee and they charged me double ($20) even though I only had one dog. The room wasn't soundproofed at all... road noise was high and noise from other guests around and above us was constant. The bed was horrible. It felt like I was sleeping on a plywood sheet and the pillows were dreadful. The shower was dirty (someone else's hair all over) and the fridge hadn't been cleaned out.

Stayed here for one night. Cleanliness is my main issue. I absolutely was not expecting the room to be anything special which is very fair for price, and it being by the water. However, I could not get comfortable in the room because it felt very dingy. Floors were sticky (probably from improper moping - too much soap). I had to wipe down splatter in the shower, and specs of fecal matter on the toilet. There were specks of dirt under the sheets by the end of the bed where someone’s feet would be. The linens were old and there were slight yellow stains on one of the pillows. Even the paper key-card slip was used. I was worried I might get bedbugs from a place like this. It might be a one off, but I definitely wouldn’t come back. I’ve stayed a front street inn about 5 years ago, which was about the same level, but much cleaner - Which is really all I care about! If you’ve worked as a cleaner, you know what’s up! I’m sure the average price of a motel has gone up, but this kind of place should really be $100 MAX, I paid about $121. By the beach = lower standards I guess.

Clerk was nice and accommodating. Room had 2 beds. One had hair in it. Bathroom has more than its fair share of mold. The nicest thing that can be said is - the door locked.

Found black mould in the bathroom. Never saw anyone when I checked out to tell them, just be mindful when staying in an unfamiliar place, I check everything over to make sure it’s up to standard.

The room was spotless and modern. It was much bigger than we expected. The beds were comfortable with good bedding. There was a couch and a little kitchenette area with a sink and counter, microwave, and mini fridge. It was right across the street from a little beach. Perfect place to stop for the night on our road trip down the coast. The front desk staff was very friendly. There is no breakfast or anything like that, just a basic hotel, but updated to look really nice.

This place was extremely noisy from traffic and it sounded like the people in the room above were line dancing all night. The beds were as basic and uncomfortable as they come. If you’re just looking for a place to lay your head down for the night, then it works. If you’re looking for comfort, this isn’t it. Shower stall is tiny, and the quality of everything (TP, linens, towels) was terrible.

Hotel staff was great, provided great info on the local attractions. The wifi was still named Motel 6, might be a good idea to remove that if you do not want to be associated with that particular brand. The 101 goes right by the hotel, with a stoplight, so the truck break noise was really loud. We got unlucky with the room assignment because the bright fluorescent light that lights the stairs also shown into our room all night. :( Not the vibe we were going for on this nature-focused trip.

Okay for a one night stay but it was very scant for amenities. No place to hang your clothes no drawers to put things. The toilet had barely enough water to flush. If you are on the first floor be prepared to listen to your neighbors upstairs just walking around.

Its a motel but renovated one. Room was neat and clean. Had microwave tv refrigerator ac etc. Bathroom was good as well. Very good for one or two night stays. Location was a bit noisy and shady though. Recommend taking a room on the upper floor just to be on the safe side.

Guy at front desk was friendly, honest and helpful. Everything was great- BUT the AC in the room made a squeaky constant noise. Room 215. We tolerated it because by the time we turned it on, it was late. I didn't have a chance to report it, i checked out/left before the lobby was open in the morning. But for the price, it was fine.

Came here on a quick business trip. The rooms are nicely, modestly modern, and comfy. Fantastic front lobby staff, super-friendly and accommodating, can’t say enough about them!!! I’ve been to 5* hotels with snobbish staff and would choose these folks any day!! Great location right across from the waterfront trails, parks and walk to the lighthouse. Thanks for the great stay!!

Great location. Motel is across the street from a park on the beach with a nice bike path for walking. It's less than a mile from a historic lighthouse, down the street from an excellent brewery, and around the corner from a good coffee shop. Room was clean and larger than most in the price range.

Not the nicest area but the hotel was fine! No issues. Comfortable stay located very close to the beach. To be fair it’s not the neighborhood that’s not the nicest, it’s all of crescent city. Just not a ton to do! But the property was perfect for my trip!
