It was ok, staff very nice.. no elevator if you have heavy luggage. Pool looked clean, drinks not good, food was ok. There is a public beach a 2 mnts walk but the water not so clear and has a lot of seaweed... the hotel has a small beach right in front of the marina where boat tours take olace so is not really private. A lot of ppl passing by.

The staff was always courteous, pleasant, and helpful. The location is prime and close to shopping, dining, and other activities. Whilst the food is amicable there is always a variety. However, I felt it lacked the authenticity of the Mexcian cuisine. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience and we wholeheartedly enjoyed the company of our evening dinner crew. My advice for future travelers, please communicate ahead of time, especially if you have elderly or disabled individuals in your crew. This hotel does NOT have an elevator or escalator. So communicating ahead of time gives the property time to prepare the proper ground floor. Thanks!

The staff is friendly but useless. My room didn't have internet. I called multiple times and no answer. Then they said they will send someone but never did. It says it has parking included but they only have 10 spots for 175 rooms. If you dont find one then you need to park 25 minutes away since there's no shuttle

Generally property was ok. Do not have own beach. On front is sealing boats where tourist coming. So to swim you need go maybe 100 M on other side. We have all inclusive deal , to bad they not serve coffee after meals hours. And restaurant need some updates, is not well organized , where is drinking there is noise, but wish they be less at midnight

Few things are very disappointing like : 1- there's absolutely no beach (about 20ft, 6 chairs) 2- the sea sight is even worst ! In front of the 6 chairs there's is the Cancun Sailing Matin (an over sea building and many boats booking the view) 3- my checkout was at noon while my leaving transport was at 16 o'clock, I was then ordered to stay in the lobby for the 4 hours with NO FOOD nor Water ... Staff and cleanliness are both very good.

Staff very kind, good location. Not a lot of parking spots but the staff always managed to find spots to park. Not a real beach, many boats are leaving in front of the place, can’t swim there. The place needs a lot of updates (room, pool, bathroom), we were very disgusted by the birds that would fly in the buffet breakfast in the morning. It seems like a commun thing as no one cares anymore. We will not go there again.

I don’t like to give negative reviews but our room had cockroaches, the shower was terrible. The room smelled dirty. Staff was not friendly. The restaurant food made me sick. I will not be staying here again.

The photos is very misleading. The hotel beach is a port and you can’t swim. The water is dirty and is not a true beach. The room has two cockroach and it was very humid. The food choice was very limited… not worth it.

Older hotel right on the bay by the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Basic rooms but large and clean. The restaurant is not fancy but the food is excellent and the drinks are affordable. Fun Mexican music plays in the bar in the evening and the crowd is fun. It all quiets down by midnight. Nice pool, great staff, I had a very pleasant relaxing 2-day stay.

It older than the picture look and it happen to be sea weed season when i went so acces to the beach was limited. The room are old but clean, the staff are nice but verry limited to speak english. The hotel has zero sound proofing so expect it to be loud in very early till late at night. The dinning option in very limited i would not recomend the all inclusive option. Very good budget hotel perfect to save money so you can invest on going on adventure to explore Mexico

El hotel presenta de manera significativa deterioro en las habitaciones (al menos en la que se asignó a un servidor y a otro compañero más), huele a viejo, la limpieza deja mucho que decir! Hay hongo en las cortinas, no hay agua caliente todo el tiempo, y el AA, suena como a camión viejo materialista, tenemos entendido que no hay habitaciones disponibles para un cambio! En estas casi 4 noches que llevamos, un servidor y mi compañero no hemos dormido del todo bien ante estas situaciones, aparte del ruido que repente hay cerca de nuestra habitación.

You get what you paid for. If you just need a please to sleep and want ocean view this place works. The staff was very polite and attentive at the restaurant for breakfast, but the personal at the front desk were terrible.

Amazing customer service from this hotel we stay here every year Because of the great service that they provide us! Hasiel the gentleman from the front of the lobby and ALL the staff of the hotel are just amazing they provided us with great customer service & throughout our visit they were always very friendly welcoming and attentive to our needs! This hotel & the room were very clean throughout our visit the food and the drinks at the bar were delicious. We will be back!! Amazing Staff!

Upon arrival the staff member at check in spoke so fast I could hardly understand anything said. Then you have to see another person so they can give you a towel card and entice you to book through them any tours but this person spoke so fast as well. Slow down, The hotel itself is in a convenient location. Breakfast buffet, sounds great, if only there were choices.. I tried to pay for lunch/snack but the first time I went the staff had zero interest in attending. Too busy chatting amongst themselves and the bartender. At least two days later when I returned the staff seemed more attentive.

When we arrived at the hotel we went to check in, the girl at the reception was not at all friendly, we found that the hotel had no electricity, at 4 pm they gave us the room when we arrived there was no water in the shower we had to wait a while for the water to come on. The room doors were unpainted, the sink was clogged, the towels were of no quality whatsoever. The employees were not friendly at all. The only person who was very friendly at all times was the bartender Leonardo. The food was terrible, there was no toaster at breakfast, I really do not recommend that hotel. They did not have a smoking area if they saw you smoking outside they would call you out.

Top floor was quiet, easy to walk to the pool &nearby beach. Staff was very helpful after initial language barrier. Easy to take a cab or ride to plazas and beaches. Older building but clean and accessible. Not sure if there is an elevator. Store that sells water and convenience store nearby. AC and hot water worked fine. Not loud with dogs or traffic. Not all-inclusive but good if you can take care of your own needs.

Overall it was a very good stay, it is located directly on the beach, within walking distance to lots of stores and restaurants. The hotel zone is a really safe area and you can grab one of the electric scooters and explore the area, or Uber or get a taxi. The hotel itself was decent, although there could be some updates and fixes to the rooms. The AC was very cold and the bathrooms were nice, there was a great view of the ocean too. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, especially those working the buffets and the bar. Sissy gets 5 stars also, she was awesome and very helpful. If you get a chance take one of the boat tours to isla mujeres (which leaves right from the beach on the hotel property) it was very affordable and it was a lot of fun. Just know what you are getting if you book this hotel since it is a touristy beach resort: there are some flaws with the rooms, there are a ton of people everywhere, not everyone speaks English but most do, the food was okay (it is a buffet so don’t expect Michelin star food), and there are a ton of people living there looking to take advantage of all the tourists. Allow yourself to have fun and don’t nitpick the little things.. besides, there’s free booze and beautiful beaches

Nice place, great staff. Food is ok, not amazing, not awful. Good location in Cancun. Can be loud at night. Can't really swim at the ocean in front, really dirty water, all the snorkel and catamaran tours originate from this location. Price is right and staff tries hard to accomodate you

Top floor was quiet, easy to walk to the pool &nearby beach. Staff was very helpful after initial language barrier. Easy to take a cab or ride to plazas and beaches. Older building but clean and accessible. Not sure if there is an elevator. Store that sells water and convenience store nearby. AC and hot water worked fine. Not loud with dogs or traffic. Not all-inclusive but good if you can take care of your own needs.

If you want to go to Cancun, be somewhere that is design and put together for Mexican tourism feel part of the Mexican resort culture, be surrounded by the wonderfulness of its people and experience a little bit more of the culture you may enjoy the Imperial. do not come here if you’re expecting a four or five star American Cancun resort experience. You don’t go to McDonald’s and pay a value menu price expecting to get the best ribeye steak you ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was a great new experience. The location is perfect. If you enjoy getting out and exploring the area around you, you can jump on a bus for 12 pesos and it’ll take you just about anywhere you want to go and Cancun. You’re within 15 min walking distance of the ferry that will take you over to Isla Mujeres . You’re also within walking distance of Las Perlas Mall and youre 200 yards from the public beach. If you’re interested in taking catamaran party tours, snorkeling, or diving the marina that all the other hotels come to is right on your own the beach. The buffets are more of a snack buffet than what you would expect. Everything here is on a small scale.

This hotel had good breakfast, lunch and dinner buffe which was included and the room and service was good. The hotel is close to the beach Playa tortuga which is much less crowded than Playa Del Carmen which can be more relaxing. This hotel is a bit away from the downtown centro nightlife both in cancun centro and down in playa del carmen so you have to take a bus or taxi. But if that's not a problem for you then this a great hotel. This hotel also offers tours to xcaret, xel-ha e.t.c cheaper than i bought at the airport.

No entertainment only music in the pool area. Perhaps a live show on the beach would have been nice. Mariachi's would have made me feel I was in Mexico, yoga, work outs at the pool I suggest. Nothing for children to do just swim... The food was ok. But really no Mexican food .. no tacos, or burritos not even pica de gallo. No options for Vegans just charros or black beans and rice. The staff is amazing especially the Bartenders. The grill guy Eduardo made the best burgers and pancakes for breakfast....Drinks are watered down though.. The hotel needs a new look and if they do upgrade and keep their staff its for sure to be a 5 star property.

The food is terrible with very limited option and it was cold all the time. They have bread without toaster. The facility is old, which was fine, considering I opted for one of the cheapest package; however, washroom door was not closing, there was too much noise, mattress felt like something was wrong. The bar has limited option with limited space - including the restaurant. Only the staff are good. Chose this place only if you need a bed to sleep.

Generally property was ok. Do not have own beach. On front is sealing boats where tourist coming. So to swim you need go maybe 100 M on other side. We have all inclusive deal , to bad they not serve coffee after meals hours. And restaurant need some updates, is not well organized , where is drinking there is noise, but wish they be less at midnight

We booked the AI, thinking we can relax in the hotel. But they have very slow wifi, should be fine if you can just sit outside there's an ocean view but it smells so bad. Food is average, limited option, and the dining is located by the beach and smells really bad, not sure because of sargasso or coz it's near a loading dock. There are birds ready to snatch your food. Room is outdated. The staffs are welcoming and nice though, the only complement I can give to this hotel.
