Clean spacious room (studio) but very bare, hardly any furniture or decor. Wipe-clean vibe. There was also an unfortunate smell of blocked stale drains in my room. Fortunately I was only there for one night.

We booked this accommodation for a family stay, specifically because the apartment was advertised as having catering facilities. Unfortunately, it was much smaller than expected and certainly didn’t feel suitable for a family. After a long day out, there was only comfortable seating for two people in the evening, which was very disappointing. My biggest disappointment was the parking. It was not made clear when booking that parking had to be reserved in advance. This was particularly problematic for us as we were travelling with our disabled son. When we raised this with staff, there didn’t seem to be much concern or any real effort to help, and we were simply told that we would have to park more than a 15-minute walk away. This was not a suitable solution for our circumstances and should have been made very clear before booking. The apartment itself was also extremely basic for the price. There were no bedside tables, the floors were scuffed, holes in the curtains and generally looked tired and lacking in attention to detail. To make matters worse, there were building works taking place outside the hotel, with scaffolding being erected in the morning, creating additional noise and disruption. Overall, we feel the price was significantly over-inflated for what was provided. I would not recommend this accommodation for families, particularly if you are expecting a comfortable apartment with decent facilities. The standard simply did not match the price we paid

I booked this hotel because of other reviews that I read online. I am disappointed that they were not true. I believe that customers should help each other. Find the best hotels. Everything was outdated, broken and filthy. The pullout couch was extremely uncomfortable and it was a terrible start to our trip to England. Thankfully, we were there for only two nights.
