Perfect for my two night stay. The front desk staff was extraordinarily helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and a cleaner did come the next day but wasn’t required, staff were so accommodating and knowledgeable of the nearby area. When you step outside, turn right and right again and Paddington Station is 2 minutes in front of you. The surrounding area moves at a steady pace and there’s plenty of food outlets. Kids will have fun witnessing the many statures around - Paddington Bear, comical Policeman, take a seat at the Wild Table of Love and more! The only downside was our hotel tv reception and only if you are a light sleeper the regular light rumble of the underground train passing by (did not affect us).

The location of this hotel can't be beat, just a couple of minutes from Paddington Station. Despite the busyness of the area I found the hotel very quiet and slept well. The room was quite small (which is true generally of more reasonably priced hotels in major cities) with limited storage options, but I made it work. The fridge and kettle were very useful. I had breakfast in my room most mornings and a light dinner there most nights, and enjoyed my alone time watching British mystery shows and "Downton Abbey." London is a big and sometimes overwhelming city, so the room became a cosy respite from that. The best part of this property is the staff, who are so friendly and helpful. Part of the service includes carrying your bags up to the room and down again when you leave (in my case up four flights of narrow stairs). Since I'm a very petite woman who was toting a bag that weighed almost 50 pounds this was really welcome. My only teeny-tiny quibble was that because I'm about 5-foot-1 I really had to stretch to reach the hangers and bathrooms shelves. I should have asked for a stepstool.

The staff was amazing, never had so good service at a hotel. And I been around to several different hotels in the world. The room is a little bit different from the picture. But is ok because the price was really low considering how much we paid. The location of the hotel was really good. You could hear the trains, this is not for the weak sleeper. There was free drinking water and good commute to the airport. 24/7 reception was really nice. Hope you pay the staff extra!! Would recommend because of good service!

First time staying at the Tudor Court and will probably be our last. It is a very old building and as hotels near Paddington rail station goes, it is a tired, worn-out place. No elevator - pay extra for early check-in and pay extra if you want air conditioning. There is a sign next to the bathroom sink that says 'Not Drinking Water'. Not drinking water in a foreign country means to me, Do Not Drink the Water. So where do we get water? No sign anywhere. Finally when checking out next morning I mentioned the sign and was told 'oh you could still drink the water but there is a filtered water machine in the lobby'. Confusing. And while their website shows a photo of a restaurant/dining room, there is no food facilities on site. But the manager was very nice. Very very close to Paddington train station. Within walking distance.
