Beautiful pool and spa facilities, amazing large rooms with great room service. Great location, short walk/uber/underground to most tourist attractions. Fantastic food locations around if you want to stay close to the hotel. Only downside was the pillows as they were a bit too hard.

The pool, steam room and sauna is free!, there’s a nice little popcorn machine that’s also free and a picture machine all free, the staff are nice and the rooms are decent. Only downside I’d say is the bathrooms are small but you can easily get around that. Do recommend

Clean room, great service and friendly staff i would say for such a price i would definitely favour a more official breakfast setting with food made to order not just a buffet. A mix would have been great. Spa and changing rooms as well as sauna and pool were clean and tidy and very well maintained

Gorgeous hotel, which looked and smelled amazing on arrival. Room was lovely and very comfortable - one of the best nights of sleep I've had in ages! Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful - we felt very welcome and well looked after. Great value stay and facilities including the spa & gym were excellent. It was very easy to get to nearest tube station (Holborn), and museums nearby including the British Museum and Soane Museum. Loved our stay here and would definitely recommend and return. Thank you!

We skipped breakfast so can’t comment on this. Staff were nice and helpful. We tried to have a drink on the top floor bar but they had a speed dating event on so there was no where for us to sit. On arrival our toilet was dirty and aircon not working. They did send someone out to sort this. We were on floor 8 and it was very noisey in the morning with banging around above us. Made use of spa in the morning, can’t complain other than would have been nice to have somewhere to change. Had to take turns with other people using the one toilet.

Fantastic staff, modern hotel, clean and fresh

Overall a very nice stay. Super comfy bed, very nice on checkin and accommodating with bags. No obvious cleanliness issues, but upon wiping some bits down ourselves with a sanitising wile came up quite dirty. Rooftop bar looked good but very loud pumping music so not the right atmosphere for valentines weekend. Checkin was a little chaotic and took a while. No recycling in the room either. Good we could leave bags all day before and after though. Overall a few bits would’ve made it a 5 but good location, comfortable bed and felt safe.

The towels were dirty

Lovely hotel in excellent location. Rooms are eclectic and great quality. Bed was hard and bathroom so small you couldn’t walk between the toilet and sink without the door closed. Swimming pool was empty on visiting and sauna and steam very clean. Bar great in the evening. Nice vibe and was given free drink tokens. Excellent front of house especially Marvin who was particularly engaging. Real asset to the hotel. No hesitation to recommend a stay here. 5 mins to Shaftesbury theatre too!

This hotel was very clean, comfortable and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was very spacious. The hotel is in a very convenient location with lots of shops and restaurants and an easy walk to Covent Garden.

Pretty good stay overall though a few features a little tired. Horrified however to see a mouse (possibly 2) running through the lobby restaurant by the way window while having a drink there one evening. Mentioned it on check out and was told ‘terribly sorry about that sir’ but no details requested, would have expected much more concern about this.

It’s the second time I’ve stayed here and the second time my room is not clean when I check in and I have to change rooms. Literally a layer of dust on everything … pee stains on the toilet. How is this possible? Also the lobby smells like sweat. Staff are impossibly rude at check in. Won’t be staying here again.

Overall cleanliness and service

The NYX hotel is located in a great area of London. A one block walk south the Holborn tube station, with buses north, south, east, west, right out front. It’s a very walkable and safe area close to the British Museum. It’s pricey for what you get, and staff are somewhat friendly and somewhat helpful. We were out of the hotel long days exploring London and coming back one late night to cleaning staff having left a big garbage bag that they’d collected and forgot to take with them was disappointing. Also the cleaning staff did something to the sink that day when cleaning that pushed the stopper down where the water didn’t drain and we couldn’t fix it ourselves as the pull wasn’t working. So having to wait 45+ mins for a staff member to come look at it so our kids could brush their teeth before bed when we were all very tired from a long day was also disappointing. It was late and we all needed to go to sleep and not be dealing with that. There was also no urgency from the staff and my husband had to go out and flag someone down. It’s a fine hotel and conveniently located but not worth the price. Also don’t eat there. It was extremely pricey for what you got. We had a dinner there that no one enjoyed or even ate but were billed quite a lot for it, and we had a breakfast buffet on our last morning. The breakfast buffet was ok but not worth the price point and no children’s price. Charged for 4 adults and after conversion back to Canadian $ it was definitely not worth it at all

The staff is absolutely excellent. There is no problem they did not solve with speed, humor, inventiveness, grace, and patience. They deserve all the stars. The rooms are kind of amusing, in that all the material parts of the experience are very upscale but not necessarily useful. Beautiful arty lamps that only rise to a dim light, placed in the wrong places, no overhead lights, no plugs for the dryer in the bathroom, etc. Everything is done for art rather than for practical usability. Trying to find a place where you can see to read or pluck your eyebrows is a challenge none of us won. But it was lovely, the staff was brilliant, and we had a good time (including making fun of our lack of light). Since it was the most expensive room we had ever rented in our lives, we decided that the "other half" must live in dim but beauteous light, that ornaments rather than elucidates.

This is a good hotel. I am notorious for not being able to sleep past about 06:30 no matter how late I go to bed. This room was so sound proofed, so light proofed, and had such great climate control that i slept until 10:00 without even having had a late night.

Great hotel! We just had a bad experience with the air conditioning clicking all day and all night. The hotel maintenance person tried to fix it, but the noise continued and became very annoying.

This is an awesome hotel. Nice helpful staff. We had some “all night party people” in the next room that kept waking us. I Guess they have a DJ that plays until 3 am a few nights a week which brings the young party crowd. The hotel is artsy and fun with luxury amenities including a pool and sauna/steam room. Aside from being loud it’s a really nice hotel in a great area of London.

Not a good experience. This building sit on top of two underground lines and you can really feel it. 3rd floor was shaking, 5th floor as well. Needed to upgrade to 9th floor and still could feel it, along with traffic outside.

The hotel was super cool. We had one of the largest rooms but were told all the large rooms faced away from the street so our view was a brick wall and trash cans. We were on the 4th floor and asked to move to a higher level, but were told the hotel was full. I was disappointed with not having better lighting or view of the city. I’m disappointed that we could not be accommodated outside of that we had a great day.

Lovely stay. Room very dark but overall lovely and large especially for London. Bed was very comfortable and a superking. Shower nice and powerful. Would definitely stay again

Fun and interesting decor, pleasant room with strong air con which I love. Great shower, but no bathtub which I love. Great pool and spa underneath it, although the pool was extremely shallow and quite cold. Great central area and a lovely bar. Really comfy bed too. All in all very decent but nothing especially stand out. (Unless you really love that decor i suppose)

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. We travelled with 2 teenage children. The front desk and concierge staff were amazing and helpful. The bar staff were wonderful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet for a city hotel. The only reason for 4 stars is our room was not ready at 3 and it took a while to get into the room. Also our room was never serviced until we requested it.

We stayed for 8 nights at this lovely hotel. Initially, we were so pleased with it and had it as a 10/10 in my book. However, the day before our departure I had the most unpleasant experience with one of your staff members named Irina at breakfast time. She was insisting on charging me full price adult for my teens even though they are considered children as guests of the hotel. When we booked the room they were categorized as children because of their ages (under 17). All of the other days we ate there and were treated with respect by other staff members and were charged properly. She kept arguing with me to prove her point and was rude than respectful about it. Another guest approached me after and said Irina was completely unprofessional. The guest said that it was clear Irina was just out to embarrass me in front of other guests and the guest apologized to me and said this is not how British people are (as in she hopes I don’t get the wrong impression by this poor example). Later we saw how Irina would interact with other guests and my kids and I came to the conclusion that it was because she thought for some reason that she was superior to us. Whether unconscious or conscious bias I hope you give her feedback. I am a frequent traveler and I was really disappointed at the treatment I received in front of my family. Even the other guest told me that she herself frequently travelled for work and stayed at NYX properties and this was totally unprofessional behavior.

The check in was slow the staff were not accommodating with the customers We were in the hotel 30 min before check in and we waited until 3 pm to check in. We were informed that our room was not ready @ 1445 then we stayed in the lobby. We notified them that we have a graduation to attend@ 1600 and up until 1515 no one has came to us to update then I initiated to ask them @ 15:20 and the male staff (indian) was not concerned and told us our room is not yet available. I challenged him since it was almost 30 min late from our check in and we need to prepare and attend the graduation. It was at this instance when he took effort to check his computer to find out that our room was ready. We managed to have our room 1530.

Nice hotel, but our experience was badly affected by a dispute with the reception and duty manager who claimed that our two-night confirmed booking on hotels.com was only for one night, and wanted to charge us an extortionate walk-in rate for the second night. This took an hour for me to resolve and I confirmed with hotels.com that the booking was confirmed. The duty manager eventually accepted this. It was entirely down to the ineptitude of the hotel staff and it was clearly stated to me that they prefer customers to book directly and not through sites like Expedia.

Superb staff and hotel was amazing. Very clean, lovely pool/spa area and breakfast was spot on. Mentioned it was my partners birthday and when we returned from they room they had left a birthday card and some cupcakes in the room for us. We arrived at 10, used the pool and sauna and they had the room ready by 11:30 for us to get ready for a matinee show at a theatre. Excellent service from the staff

My group of 3 are from the USA and stayed at this hotel last week for 6 nights. Before booking I watched a bunch of TikTok videos and decided on this one. It’s conveniently located to sites like Big Ben and the London eye, also a few feet away from the Underground transit system. I Loved that they had a restaurant and bar onsite. Convenient for the nights you want to relax and just chill, but there are also plenty of restaurants nearby. They offered a complimentary welcome drink upon checkin and the staff also reached out during the stay to get feedback on how things were going. They have a concierge that helps you book events. We did a musical and 2 other activities booked through the concierge. They have breakfast daily which we added as part of the stay. It included Made to order eggs and omelets, a variety of other hot and cold buffet style items. The setup of the hotel is very cute. Many Instagram worthy photo ops. They had popcorn out every night, some arcade games, rooftop bar open on the weekend and a spa. There were some issues with the room, but I spoke to Raymond and Mandie and they really went above and beyond to address our concerns. I cannot rate their customer service high enough. Definitely speak to them if you have any concerns and they will make it right. Overall, l recommend this location if you’re in London and looking for a unique hotel vibe. Location and staff were a 10/10. I will also be doing a review online allie_in_wonderland

Really awesome staff and nice clean facilities. Pablo was really helpful and had some great suggestions for us while we were in London. Make sure you go to the Swiss butter for dinner at least one night it’s amazing.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel in London, and there's a reason why we will continue to come back--the staff is amazing! They are more than helpful and kind from check-in to check-out. The location is also hard to beat--5 minutes from the Holborn tube stop! Looking forward to our next stay at the NYX in Holborn!

Flashy styling and easy to find when we were out and about with the exterior hotel lighting pink/purple/blue. Two blocks from the Hollborn tube. Close to everything but slightly more calm neighborhood than some other tourist areas. We stayed there for 10 days, would stay there again.

It was well located for my trip purpose and is essentially quite easy to get to from euston. The hotel although on the main road was very quiet and I couldn't hear too much traffic. I only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. The bathroom is like a wet room, large and clean.

NYX Hotel was in such a convenient location! Walkable to popular areas such as Covent Garden, Leicester Square, and Soho, but also tucked away and quiet. It is a couple minute walk down the street from the Holborn station which is also very convenient. The room size was larger than average for a central London hotel and I felt very comfortable. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating. I have already bookmarked this as a hotel for my next London stay!

The staff were friendly and approachable. The drinks at the bar were expertly made and absolutely lovely. The location of the hotel is perfect for tourism as you are in the middle of every thing you want to see.

Great hotel with an amazing breakfast that’s worth having. Great lobby restaurant area with delicious dining options and drinks ! The free popcorn made by the popcorn maker in the lobby is so cute and fantastic ! Wouldn’t change anything about my stay here as it was a 10/10! Definitely would recommend to others.

Great location! Destiny on reception was super helpful. Bar staff were constantly distracted though and looked like they didn’t want to be there later in the evening. Bathroom lighting is poor for putting on makeup. Great breakfast options!

It was an OK place to stay. Paid extra for a Superior room but was not worth it really. The room was still very small. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The tables were not cleared very quickly. Was disappointed that we could not go up onto the roof top bar area, it was fully booked. One of the reasons this hotel was chosen.
