Millennium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club

Good place to stay and I would use this hotel again. Because it is part of Stamford Bridge stadium the security felt very good. Only negative was the elevators, which were a little temperamental/slow to service the floors.

Situated next to Chelsea FC and lots of walkable dining and entertainment options. The hotel has no gym, no pool and limited AC outside of the main atrium. It is adequate as a result, not great.

Excellent location if you don't want to be in Central London but want easy access to it via bus, underground or walking. Hotel & bar staff were all excellent & friendly - they especially made my son feel very welcome. We only had breakfast onsite & bar snacks, and as vegans the options weren't many but they were good. Room was basic but it was clean & very comfortable - it was also very quiet & we hardly heard any noise. We did not use the onsite parking - it was not run by the hotel & was *very* expensive. Thankfully, we found a much more reasonably priced parking spot via JustPark, less than 5 minutes away (£70 for the whole week, rather than £38/night onsite).

Property is dated. Lift didn’t work had to take stairs. Escalator didn’t work. A lot of maintainance required and nothing was getting fixed

Clean and convenient location. I was told on booking that the hotel had complimentary EV charging. Upon arrival I discovered this was not the case, (£0.75pence per kilowatt)!

We thought the hotel room was very good. The bar was expensive at £18.37 for a beer and a gin and tonic and we were a bit disappointed that we never got replacement coffee, water and milk in our room for the second day. Parking was very secure and easy, although at £36 a day, I thought was very expensive again. To be honest though, we will use the hotel again, it is a good hotel and I may just be showing my age when I'm moaning about cost.

Perfect for getting to attractions we were interested in, clean and comfy with helpful staff. On-site parking with security on gates due to being at Chelsea Football Ground. Would definitely stay again.

We booked this last minute, as we could not get a room in our regular hotel. Whilst we have not stayed here previously we assumed (wrongly) that with it being the Stamford Bridge Hotel, attached to Chelsea Football club and also being 4 star it would be good. Unfortunately this was not the case. The staff behind the desk when we got there seemed flustered and we're not particularly welcoming. We stood there for several minutes in silence whilst they printed our some forms we needed to sign, this would not have been an issue if it had been explained. But we asked to check in gave our name. And then just stood waiting, eventually we were handed the form and went on our way. The hotel is run down and grubby. From the corridors, list to the rooms. I appreciate it is not a new hotel, but for a 4 start hotel I appears to have had no maintenance word done to maintain it. The room was grubby, with marks and stains on the lamp shades as well as the scirting board. The bathroom was no better, with hairs in the bath when we arrived. And I would assume a blockage in the pipes, as everytime we flushed the toilet the bath plug would splitter and chug for about 10 minutes after. The breakfast whilst complementary was disappointing, they did have some gluten free cereal so it had some redeeming qualitys. I would suggest looking for another hotel at this price point, as there are many out there at a much higher standard.

Reception and staff generally very polite and pleasant. The room we were allocated was awful The sofa bed mattress was stained, the carpet was threadbare, the furniture was out dated and the room was extremely dusty. I suffer from asthma so I had to request another room. The second room was better - we could actually open the wardrobe doors when the sofa bed was opened out. It still required further cleaning/ dusting. On the second night I had an asthma attack. We found an extreme amount of dust behind the tv cabinet with a plug half out of its socket . Overall a terrible experience especially from a hotel chain connected to a Premiership football club

Room was very noisy with doors slamming all night. Room was dirty and very tired and dated bath was very stained and we could not use it would not stay again

Not the most friendliest of check ins. Got to rooms to find my friends card didn’t work so had to go back to reception (which is in a different building) to re check in. I had an upgrade … better view of cfc I think. My friend got no upgrade. Her view was bins hence why we think this was the upgrade . Although the windows were that filthy. It wasn’t worth looking out. Room looked tired and worn. Touch up paint on walls. Skirting boards needs repainting. Bed comfy . Pulled out bedside unit to look for a plug. No plug socket but dust and filth , not been cleaned in a long while! Bathroom ok a few black hairs on side of bath and on floor. I’m blonde so not my hairs! Overall basic accommodation if you just in and out like we were however cleanliness needs addressing!

Disapointed with our second stay. The room was dusty and furniture falling apart. No refill of either coffe or tee in the room and dirty dishes were left. Don't bother having a coffee station in the room if it is not updated. We will not visit again

I had an excellent stay at the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff provided outstanding service throughout my visit. The property itself is in excellent condition, with modern facilities that made my stay very comfortable. The area around the hotel was safe and quiet, which I appreciated. Additionally, there were plenty of dining options nearby, and the location was very convenient for transportation. It was also very walkable, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were of a good size and very clean. Nice area.

I stayed at the London Stamford Bridge Hotel for one night and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we entered the room, it was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were not a priority. There were visible footprints on the curtains, which made them look dirty and neglected. The toilet was not clean, the bathroom had mould, and to top it off, we found leftover food in the fridge from previous guests. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one in such a high-profile location. We reported all of this to Reception at the start of our stay, and while we were told housekeeping would be sent, no proper cleaning was done and we were stuck in an unclean room for the duration of our visit. The hotel was fully booked, so a room change wasn’t offered. In addition to the hotel issues, the security staff around Stamford Bridge stadium were incredibly rude. When we politely asked for directions, we were abruptly told to "just look at the signs" instead of receiving any help. It was an unnecessarily dismissive and unprofessional attitude that made the experience around the area just as unpleasant. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Common areas were very nice and can’t beat the convenience for a match but the room felt dated and cleanliness was below standards. Mold and water damage in the bathroom was disappointing.

The room wasn't in the main building. The room was very tired. There was a gap at the bottom and side of the door, which allowed light to pour into the room. It was next to the underground and behind the lifts, so noisy most of the night.

Room wasn't great - view of a brick wall 15ft away, poor lighting - dark working at desk which was a pain for video conferencing. No plugs near the bed for charging phone....overall not great

The first room I was given was awful - noisy because it was right next to the tube line. It was too hot and the aircon was not good enough to deal with the heat - a British problem! I asked to be moved and the lady on reception was incredibly helpful and moved me to a much better room, overlooking the entrance. The aircon struggled still but it was a much nicer room. The whole hotel is very tired, the sink in my bathroom was cracked and the bed not very comfortable. I understand the uncertainty over a ground change or development means the hotel isn't going to do a major refit, as it may be pointless, but it is a reasonable place to stay in London for a night or two.

The rooms were awful. No outlets within 10 feet of the beds. I use a medical device (CPAP) for sleep and was not able to plug it in. Absolutely the worst room set up of any hotels I've stayed in. The hotel should be sued for not providing a set up for people with medical needs.

Great location and lovely friendly staff but hotel room is very dated and could do with a refurb especially the bathroom. Very noisy in the morning as our room was at the rear of the hotel.

Everything was fine, breakfast was nice too, we just missed a fridge from the room

The air conditioning didn't work and so we had no choice but to keep the window open all night, which was extremely noisy. Otherwise the room was really fine.

The rooms were small and a bit dingy, with bathrooms that weren’t well cleaned or maintained. The dark, bulky furniture felt oversized for the space and had visible stains. Our initial room lacked a refrigerator and had small beds, but upgrading to a king-size solved that. There were no bathroom outlets (a UK norm), and while the bathroom’s heated floors were a nice touch, the rest of the room felt dated and worn.

Location and Staff was big 5 stars. Very convenient location close to bus stops and a train Station. Front desk staff was kind and polite and give us early check in at arrival. Wifi was fast at most times. Beds were okay. I feel safe around the neighborhood and had lots of dinning options. Ne big con was the furniture inside the room. Seems very out dated and old. Only outlets available by the work desk. No outlet in bathroom or by the bed. Pillows were not comfortable. Not enough lights but window helped. Overall good experience and will recommend

The hotel was ok for one night. I think the rooms need an upgrade. New bath and the pillows are not comfortable. There were quite alot of marks on paint work. The air conditioning wasnt good so we opened the window but then to be woken up early in the morning by the security guards talking loudly. Also the cleaner knocked at our door just after 9am and woke my daughter up. Not sure why as we were only there one night!

Staff were fantastic and very accommodating and helpful - we booked an extra night while we there and that was a very smooth and straight forward process.

Our check in was initially challenging with the front desk person being rude and very unpleasant to interact with. First he didn't want to even help when we checked if our room was ready because we arrived a bit early. When he finally gave us the room, he didn't give us a map to the area, and sent us to an outside building, telling us to just ask security outside for direction. When we got into the room, the shower handle was broken, our 3rd bed was not made even though we had a reservation for 3. and the room looked outdated. So we went back and spoke to a manager, fortunately he was a much nicer and professional individual. He changed the room , gave us an upgrade and apologized for the unfortunate experience. While in the new room, my son took a shower and the water wouldn't go down the tub and we had to call management to come and fix it. Initially we kept calling the front desk from the room multiple times and noone picked up the phone. I had to head down tto the front desk and saw the workers just there and they never picked up the phone.

I heard good reviews about this property before I got to the property. Even my uber driver from the airport was singing their praises and they definitely didn’t fall short. They accommodated my early arrival and when I had issues with my room, Bunmi especially was there to help and very swiftly if I may add. I ended up extending my stay because I had such a comfortable and splendid time. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!!!!

We’ve stayed there twice before and never had a problem however this time I’ve been charged twice for breakfast. I noticed this and went down to reception and spoke to the receptionist who was helpful but needed assistance from the night Manager who couldn’t have been more unhelpful. When I asked him why I’d been charged again £64.70 he just fobed me off saying he had to go as he was busy. I explained that I had checked with my bank and that I would like an explanation but I got no response and again he told me he had to go. Because of this I don’t think we will be staying there again.

Good stay. Security staff not helpful but Jefferson ar reception was great.

The Stamford Bridge hotel was what we expected, it was clean, well presented, a little dated, but no worse than most hotels we've stayed in, but what was excellent was the level of customer care that we received, the duty manager Neal went above and beyond with making us as comfortable as possible.

At check in the young pretty lady on reception was absolutely delightful, smiley and went above and beyond in my eyes. We told her that we were going to see The Lion King at the Lyceum. Not only did she explain how to get there and the length of time each stage would take she even printed all the information off for us! Being from West Wales, having no underground systems and a bus that comes only twice a day, that was invaluable! We were naive enough to think we could just book a cab at the hotel but she explained that during rush hour, traffic would be at a virtual standstill, something I hadn't even considered! Our family room was spotless and the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in! If I could have taken it home, I would! There were all your basic needs there, shower gels, hand wash and loo rolls etc and plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits..Being 4 of us, more milk was needed which was quickly and courteously supplied. My ONLY criticism was that although there were usb wall sockets and plenty of plug sockets on the 'kettle side' of the room, there were no sockets available next to the beds. Meaning my grandkids couldn't play on their phones and have them charging whilst lying in bed! I know..... poor things right?!! Staff were extremely polite, helpful and had smiles on their faces which means so much to me and the cleanliness was excellent in the breakfast area. There was a superb range of breakfast foods available too. 10/10!

Good location close to subway. Breakfast is good, but miss variation of bread and some toppings. A bit outside central London but close to subway to get into city centre. Good location to get to Heathrow by subway.

Great place to stay for Chelsea matches. Convenient location for central London attractions. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms good size for London hotels.

The property boasts an extremely convenient location, being a short walk from the underground station, and is notably safe and quiet. While the interior and facilities are outdated, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions. We definitely recommend staying here.

Close to restaurants and tube.

Simple check in, clean, comfortable, proper furniture in rooms rather than the coolie-cutter designs most chain hotels have. Added bonus of being part of a football stadium. Easy to get to from Fulham Broadway tube station. Quiet.

Booked last minute. On arrival the staff were excellent, polite, very helpful, they stored our bags for us. Went into London, underground station just 5 minutes away direct line to central London, very convenient. Or an easy walk to Chelsea harbour pier and we got the Uber boat up to embankment. Room was clean, well stocked for an overnight stay, aircon was great. Breakfast was easy and plenty of choice. Would book this hotel again without question next time we are in London.

Easy walk through a safe and pleasant neighbourhood from Fullham Broadway tube station. Sainsbury's supermarket right at the station for all stuff you need. Shops, pubs, restaurants all around the tube station. Hotel very nice and the breakfast was great. It's an all-you-can-eat full cooked breakfast with tea, coffee, and juices. Plus cereals, ham and cheese slices, toast, and even sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and hummus! I could have asked for a better breakfast and it sees me though wandering London until late afternoon or even dinnertime. 100% stay there again.

Check in was really easy and simple, customer service was impeccable, staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was okay, food wasn’t hot, eggs came out 20 minutes after ordering as this was separate from the all you can eat. Bar is reasonably priced, staff very friendly. Great location in London. Close to the underground, grocery stores and restaurants. Staff is very friendly. Building and area had security. Breakfast buffet was great with vegan options.

Great place to stay. Close to tube station and right in the grounds of Chelsea football stadium. Room clean, bed a little hard. Only 2 critics was some of breakfast items were over cooked, and fire alarms went off at 2am and woke everyone up and we were panicked.

Comfortable, clean, quiet hotel. Food is not very good and was similar to what you would get if you was sat in the stands. Exepected more to be honest... Great hotel, if yoiu do stay, would recommend eating outside of hotel.
