Quality Inn Lancaster

They were newly redone however our bathroom door would not shut. Also the breakfast was only cold cereal or waffles. Not a great stay. Don’t see us returning. The property was also not very clean. Also they only had one ice machine which was located on the 3rd floor.

There for quick weekend getaway. Hotel is close to everything! Horse and buggies went by a lot. Pool was not open due to maintenance.

This is the second time my family and I have come there on vacation and the pool is closed. It’s August this should not happen. We look forward to swimming in the pool fix what’s broken it’s August families like pools.

The remodel was more of a landlord paint job type situation. So it gave a very unclean impression. The floor in my room had not been swept. The pool bottom was really dirty and even if you wanted to get in there were piles of shock chemical sitting in the bottom. The breakfast was just fruit and waffels. There is a lack of water pressure. Also, not the hotels fault but the road noise is a bit obnoxious so if you are bothered by that when sleeping then I wouldn't recommend.

Pool was green with algae ( we booked here for use of pool ) the mirrors in bathroom wire are splice together unsafe and located right next to sink. The staff are hard to understand and I believe it is the same for them. They were not accommodating. The handicap shower drainage was not done right and all the water backs up across the whole floor. The towels they give you are like shop towels the thinnest roughest towels they could find. If I wanted to throw away 150 dollars I would have walked out but being a single mom who never gets away I was left with no choice but to remain.

No elevator to second floor

On arrival our lock would not work with card. Was supposedly fixed but had to be let in every time we left and came back. As no one on duty after 10pm we were unable to stay out past that time! Lock was eventually fixed on the last day. Pool was also closed - can’t be helped, I understand but one of the reasons we booked this particular hotel. Bathroom is very small with wash basin in room not in bathroom. Overall an ok hotel but not great.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. We were on the third floor (no elevator). The room was filthy. My socks were black from just walking on the floor. The shower had no water pressure at all. We were left with a 1/3 roll of toilet paper, and the door didn’t shut properly so you had to slam in closed to latch. The sheets either weren’t changed or had stains on them and the pillows were disgusting. They say you get what you pay for and the only good thing is the location.

Floors disgusting-we bought swifter to mop them. They do not mop or sanitize them. Shower floor needed to be scrubbed and sink disgusting- needed to be scrubbed. Beds comfortable and sheets clean. Tv pain to operate and no instructions. Breakfast very basic and fruit over ripe. Price good but plan on having to sanitize counter tops and mop floor. Also air conditioners very loud need ear plugs

Well in our room they didn’t clean the place.In our bathroom that we had their was a poop stain on the floor. The floor was dirty and it was like they didnt clean it at all.

Receptionist tried to put me in a king handicap room. I had reserved a 2 queen bed room. She tried to say they didn't have a room then she told me it was an upcharge for a queen room. I finally got into a queen room and it was nasty. Dozens of pubic hairs in the shower. We had reservations for entertainment so had no time to take care of that. Ended up washing my hair in the sink the next morning. I bought a bath mat and chlorox wipes to clean the shower but it was so bad that I asked the receptionist to have the room cleaned. I was gone all day and came back to made up beds and new towels but they still didn't touch the bathroom. I went to the desk and demanded someone come and look at it and clean it. She did and had a worker come clean. He had a dry microfiber cloth and no disinfectant cleaner. He wiped everything down and swept. I asked him about the manager and he told me the receptionist was the manager. There was a major language barrier and cultural barrier. There was no sense of urgency or embarrassment about the filth. I ended up wiping down the whole room with the wipes. I was scheduled to stay for 2 nights and it was a holiday weekend so I had no option but to stay. I asked the same receptionist for one night to be comped. She said she couldn't. She wouldn't call the manager. I wonder if there is a manager. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

We opened the door and saw that the floor had dirt all over. The sheets were either stained or dirty. The towels looked like they were used as grease rags.

The property is in a beautiful location and the outside area was well cared for and attractive. The floor in the room had not been vacuumed. There was hair and some kind of white fuzz all over the floor. Bathroom and shower area also extremely dirty. Hair in floor and in shower. Water temp in shower was not adjustable. Extremly hot when you tried to adjust with cold water would not temper. When we pulled back the covers on the bed their was also hair in the bed. Do not recommend.

The floors are disgusting and should be cleaned prior to guests coming to stay there

The location is very convenient. The room was filthy. The toilet hadn't been cleaned, the shower was dirty, the floor hadn't been swept and there was garbage on the floor when I checked in. The water in the shower took about one minute to get hot. There is no switch to turn off the light over the sink. I had to unplug the light each time. The outlet for the coffee maker didn't work. The bedspread was stained in several places. The walls in the bathroom were dirty. The tv remotes are impossible to figure out, and there are no instructions. There is no basic cable, as far as I could tell. The mattress is covered with what felt like plastic and crinkled when I moved. Quite possibly, the worst hotel/motel room I've ever stayed in.

The only thing was the matress it was to hard for me .

This was not a great hotel for us. There was garbage laying around outside that wasn't picked up during our 2 day stay. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable and slid around on the metal frame. It was the equivalent of sleeping on a sofa bed. The bathroom is a whole other story. The sink area is out in the open and the toilet and shower are in a small room the size of a closet. We literally had to stand in the shower to open and close the door. The free breakfast was also interesting. There was no hot food the 2 days we were there even though they have the setup for it. They had 4 apples in a stand, 2 cereals to choose from, and bagels and wheat toast. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday so maybe that had something to do with their selection. It definitely isn't what I've seen in many other hotels I'vebeen to. I'm not usually one to cut down a hotel, I really do try to be nice but in this instance, I just had to lay it all out.

The room was nice and clean - it's been recently renovated. But the room was the farthest thing from sound proof. You could hear the horse and buggies going past even though you're pushed back from the road. Someone was playing music in the morning and you could hear it through the walls. It wasn't the worst and I've definitely been to worse inns but it was annoying when trying to fall asleep.

No eggs, or omelet or sausage or even yogurt. The mattress is very cheap with hard springs. Summary - it doesn’t worth the price paid. Dear management, please pay attention and correct these issues.

They put a hold on my card for $100 stated that it would be put back on my card. I checked my card this morning and the money was taken out of my account. There was no damage to the room when we left. The mattress was hard as a rock. We will never stay at another Quality Inn again. This is the second Quality Inn that we had poor experience at.

Room was renovated but not finished. Lots of patches that needed painted. Grass around the property needed a mowing. Waited at the front desk for 10 min to check out…. No one came

This hotel is nicely remodeled, very clean. It is conveniently located. It's near many attractions including Sight and Sound Theater. It even includes breakfast. We would like to suggest some protein options for breakfast ie boiled eggs or greek yogurt. Personally, we did find the beds to hard/firm for our comfort. And this may sound silly, but the toilet was very low to the ground. Not good for elderly or larger framed people.

I booked for this hotel online and I had a family emergency and I tried contacting the hotel for a refund, they instead lied and said I had no booking online even after giving my confirmation number. They said to contact Expedia. I then did and they said that the hotel is not replying back to them. Not only did I not get my money back, I was ignored and was given horrible customer service when on the phone with the hotel worker. I would not recommend people to book here.

Where to begin! I was arriving early and tried to call ahead to see if I can check in 15 min before check in time (which I usually never have an issue with any of my stays doing this) but every time I called no one answered the phone. Even so I still arrived 15 min early to check in and the man up front was rude and made me wait in my car until 3pm- mind you, this was just after horrible snowy and icy weather. So sitting in the cold in my car for 15 min was insane. So I waited and then checked in at 3pm but when I got into my room the floor was dirty and unswept. There was an opened orange Gatorade still in the fridge! And the sheets and towels had mild stains on them as if they were not washed properly. Also the conditioner bottle they have hanging in the shower was broken and when I went to use it the conditioner squirted out of the lid seal towards my face instead of squirting down into my hand. The toilet paper rolls were not stocked as one roll was half used in the bathroom as well. Also I feel as if the front desk man was stalking me because he said my partners name and there’s no way he would of known that because my name along with a guest was on the hotel room. I just felt weird and unsafe and I stayed there for 3 nights. And to be treated with such little care was a poor reflection on the inns part.

We were in a handicap room. When the shower was used the water came out into most of the bathroom seeping out into the bedroom. My husband’s gym bag and shoes got wet. There was cob webs around the pedestal sink and wall around the mirror. We used the towels we had to soak up the water and tried drying the gym bag at the heater. We asked to change rooms and the staff was very understanding and accommodating.

Property took a cash security deposit, I was told there would be a person at desk for early check out, there wasn't, I have been trying to contact property with no luck, No one answers phone, I guess I just lost fifty dollars, Never again,

The front desk closed at 10pm. Never heard of a Motel front desk closing.

We booked a double queen room weeks before our trip, when we arrived at the hotel and went to check in the gentleman at the front desk told me they over booked our room and would need to give me a king size room. I told him there were 4 of us and a king size bed would not work. We went back and forth for about 45 mins before he finally gave me a double queen room and said we would have to switch rooms the next day. The next morning we pacled up everything put it in our car, went to turn the key cards in to get our new one for the new room and he told me we didnt have to change rooms. Got back to the hotel around 9:30pm that night and our key card would not work on the hotel room door. We had to go get the key cards activated again. When we walked in the room, room service never came to the room, we had no clean towels. Sent our son to the front desk again and were told there were no clean towels, come back tomorrow. The mattresses on the beds were also very hard, we had a hard time sleeping and the pools was not cleaned or filled.

The lady at the front desk was WONDERFUL, so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, I’m always nervous when the room is an exterior entrance but this hotel was very safe. I will definitely be staying at this property again.

This hotel has caused me so much annoyance and mental anguish since we checked in. During our stay the hotel has made not 1 or 2 but 5 billing errors, 3 on one day, 1 on the next, and another 1 was a malicious charged bc I left a bad review on Google regarding this experience; the owner admitted this to me on the phone before hanging up and then refused to answer the phone for an explanation. I have since filed a dispute, was left with no choice but to file an incident report with the smoketown police, and reported them to the FTC bc this is considered abuse of a clients financial information. How do you make all these billing mistakes when you’re in hospitality industry?? The new owner will not accept blame or even acknowledge how stressful this is for a patron to experience not 1 billing mistake let alone 5 all on different days. The owner has never told me on the phone or in person why I was charged, but since leaving a bad review he has only responded to my Google review (never told me in person or over the phone) trying claim my crated 20lb dog messed up the room and that I somehow tried to deceive their staff, when I originally told them twice I needed a dog friendly room, and this is a pet friendly hotel. They will say this, that and the next to avoid accountability, when the truth of the matter is, no one on vacation wants to deal with something like this.

The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and reaches out to make sure we had everything we need. We like the location and easy access to local attractions like Sight and Sound theater, dining options and the outlets.

The location is great, off the main traffic route but in the midst of Amish country activities. The property is a bit dated, an upgrade of rooms and furniture would be advisable. Everything is clean and functioning, rooms have enough space. The breakfast is on the light side, not many choices were offered (eggs were freshly boiled, though). Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Overall a good place to stay for a night or two, especially considering the price.

We did not see when staying in 2024 there was a pool. Saw it when registering this year. Enjoyed the pool, closeness to Rt 30 and all of Lancaster county. Very much loved the waffle breakfast each morning. Quiet area, close to all there is to do in the area.

We recently stayed to go back to school shopping at the outlets, and this hotel is very convenient and close to everything. About 2 miles from the outlets and only a 5 minute drive. Front desk lady was very nice during check in and check out.

Hotel room was in decent condition. Had ironing board and iron but no blow dryer which was unusual. We asked for tissues and toilet paper never received it. The breakfast they say they provide was absolutely horrible a half a loaf of bread, some old fruit and a waffle machine. Will not be going back to this hotel again.

All new beautiful furnishings, Great breakfast, waffles, juice,fruit, cereal or toast and good coffee. Saved us $15-20 per day on breakfast, each. Front desk women was very helpful. Needs second chair in room for playing games.

It's near to sight and sound which was my purpose. and it was near amish village, shopping and restaurants. The Only thing that I don't like was the breakfast.

The shower wasn't clean; it looked dirty. There was hair on the walls, and it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned. There weren't enough towel. There weren't enough towel at the pool. At breakfast, I had to ask for maple syrup refills every day. There were no plates; I had to ask for them. The orange juice tasted like they'd combined all the juices into one.

Positives: The front desk staff was very friendly. The grounds are kept up nicely. The location had great access in close proximity for shopping, which is convenient. The country view of farmland was beautiful from our room. Breakfast was decent enough with fresh fruit, waffles, coffee, juices, etc. Negatives: Our door lock jammed and we had difficulty getting back into the room at one point. Also, fellow patrons partied all night keeping us up, due to their drunken behavior and loudness. We did not get a restful night's sleep. People can be so rude and uncaring of others. Cannot blame staff for that however, as it was after midnight. I would give 3.5 out of five stars.
