Hotel is a beautiful property however it needs some revamping. The elevators and main floor were out of order for the entire time. The building is not ADA friendly or compliant.

This resort has lots of great amenities. So much to do at the resort - beach, adult pool, family pool, cornhole, hammocks, jet ski rental. There’s a nice outdoor pool bar with good food. The staff is friendly. Both bartenders at the inside bar lobby were fantastic. Patrick at the front desk was amazing. They have a little shop that has snacks, souvenirs and other stuff. The lobby is well kept. Our room was an ocean view which was really clean. My only cons are the elevators stayed dirty (I’m pretty sure they didn’t clean them the entire stay), the hallways/carpet is dated and the beach really isn’t swimable (although there’s a public beach right next door). Also, don’t plan to sleep in because you’ll hear doors banging all morning. All things that aren’t a huge deal breaker but worth mentioning. I’d stay here again. Location was a 15 min walk to the main strip. We mostly Ubered around and didn’t wait more than 2 mins for a ride anywhere we wanted to go.

Beautiful accommodations and grounds. Great food and cocktails! Located on the beach. Adult pool was great as was the beach. Spa had excellent service. Jet ski rental located on site enjoyed an island tour. Located walking distance to Duval Street. Will definitely stay here again!

This is not a five star hotel. We spent a boat load of money to stay in the Motel 6 portion of the hotel. Dirty walls, no plants but dead ones, no flowers, nothing. The room came with stained towels, dirty floors, stained sheets. This is NOT a $900.00 a night hotel. Don’t stay here!!

Hotel is dirty, tired and hideously overpriced. There is also a distinct feeling of prejudice against non-american visitors, this is evident by how the reception staff treat visitors checking in and out. We spoke with many Americans who got complimentary room upgrades whilst we and others had to pay to 'upgrade' to the rooms we had already booked and paid for online. Aside from dirty communal areas and broken tiles / fixtures, we saw a lot of rats running around the hotel dining terrace in the evenings. Finally, the maid only visited our room once in the 4 days we were there. This was reported to reception but made no difference. We will return to key west, but never to this hotel.

This place definitely looks better in the pictures. For what you’re paying for per night it’s definitely not worth it. The building is beautiful, but they need to do a little more upkeep. It looks like they need to walk around with a magic eraser and remove all the scuffs around the building. The room service situation was a mess. They wouldn’t answer the phone and we didn’t know if our food was even coming and then wouldn’t finally did they didn’t give us silverware, twice. It’s nice to be on the beach, but I was appalled that when I went out one morning, it was literally covered in trash. I spent about 20 minutes just picking up plastic bottles and fishing nets and pieces of plastic. The hotel needs to do better. I know a lot of the stuff is coming off of boats, but they should have a staff member coming out in the morning to clean up the garbage not only for hotel guests but for the sake of the ocean that it’s on. There was plenty of staff standing around doing nothing so I’m sure they have figured it out. If this is your first time coming to Key West, I highly recommend staying in one of the cute little bed-and-breakfasts near Duval Street. They are adorable and in walking distance to everything which is really nice when you’re down there!

This was a weird property the staff personalities were great and the outside of the property was awesome but the cleanliness of the hotel inside specifically was brutal it was filthy in the carpet hallways in the four days we were there the hallways were not vacuumed once as there was a packet of sugar on the floor (I took photos of all this as I was surprised) when we arrived which I thought was weird and it was there when we left as I just wanted to see if it would be picked up. We were shocked at how dirty it was when we arrived with clumps of hair and bits of trash on the floor. It was very disappointing and gross for how much it cost to stay here! the room and the room cleaning were terrible they never refilled our items properly we kept running out which was brutal changed our sheets once and the only reason was we were in the room when she arrived and I asked if she would be which became a confusion ! the floor wasn't swept or cleaned once and it was noticeably dirty, the showers had someone else hair in them when we arrived, all in all, wouldn't stay or recommend this and would advise you to go to another island or all-inclusive on another island honestly the ones I have stayed at have been cleaner

Everything was great love the place. The only thing is the elevator has not been cleaned in forever. The track the door runs on is a total mess. Everything else was great. There was also a pill look like a Tylenol laying in the same spot for four days.

Unfortunately, this property was a complete false advertisement of what was shown online. Completely outdated, dirty, and not by any means worth $1,000 a night.... The pools resembled a Motel 6 which is ironic for a 5 start hotel. The elevators were barely functioning and completely disgusting. The door paint was literally peeling off and eroding. There was no one to help you set up beach chairs and for a 5 start resort at $1K per night... you would think that would be with the "beach front property". Which let me tell you that it is barely swimmable and there are rocks every where. I truly would save your money and stay somewhere for half the price that would honestly be a more charming property. This place probably had good bones before Hilton bought them. And then added on extra segments to the original building that resembles a Motel 6... WOULD LITERALLY NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

The room floor was extremely dirty, I let my baby crawl so we could unpack our things, his legs,hand and foot got black full of sand, filthy. The shower drain was blocked, when we had shower the shower floor was like a pool and water overflowed. The lift on our tower was not working and again with a baby was not helpful. This place has everything to a 5 star hotel but they are lacking on maintenance and management. The vacation that was supposed to be relaxing was pure stress from check in to check out. Would not come back.

Nice property that needs upgrades. After walking in and the amount I paid, when I went to my room it looked like a motel from the outside. 2 Elevators, one out of service the other did not stop on the third floor all the time. Limited amenities for the $60 Daily Resort Fee for a weekend for 2, Beach is all rock so you need to use the pool. Therefore, if you are looking for a romantic getaway with your partner, only look at this place as place to sleep, they offer nothing.

We chose to stay in the largest room with an additional sitting area. The couch and table area was super useful and convenient. The bathroom was nice and new. The toilet was very close to the shower door and a little strange they would put it there. The bed was very hard, pillows gave me ear ache and the sheets were really rough. The air in our room worked well and the balcony was small but nice. The towels were very small and very stained. Unfortunately the water was very cloudy and not clear. So we didn’t swim much due to visibility. The food was horrible at the restaurant so we found other places to dine. Overall was no where near worth the almost grand a night to stay. Have ustayed at many other luxury hotel brands for a bit less for extremely better accommodation.

I have stayed at the Casa Marina many many times over the years. Although the outdoor area and grounds are stunning, the common areas, hallways, elevators, etc. leave much to be desired. The room was fine but small. Unfortunately, it was the third room we were assigned because the first two were unacceptable. The first didn’t have windows and high level rather any natural light started over 7 feet up on the wall. It felt like we were in a basement the second room option had big windows, but for huge air-conditioning units blocked any natural light. The third room was fine.

The property is beautiful - very old and historic. However, that only gets you so far. Our room was small, the carpet in the hallway needed to be replaced, and the bathroom was tiny. No space to put your shower supplies other than toilet seat the floor directly outside. They charge $60 per day resort fee. We stayed three nights and I still do not know what the resort fee was for. Maybe towels and beach chairs? We get those at a courtyard Marriott without paying a resort fee. If you are going to charge a steep fee, then it better come with some amenities other than a workout room and some shared umbrellas. We ruled out several other properties because their prices seemed higher, but if you factor in this resort fee, these rooms actually cost more and you get less for your money. The beach was gross - not well maintained and not combed each day. You couldn’t really swim because the shoreline is rocky. Our room ran off of a generator. It was located outside our window and it was very loud. At some point during the night we lost power and it was not weather related. You would think they would’ve comped something like brought water to the room or something. However, they were still charging $6 for coffee when I had to take a shower in the dark with my cell phone as a light. When our room wasn’t cleaned by 4 PM, we had to actually request for room service to replace our towels. It seemed like no one cared whether we were there or not. It’s like our money didn’t matter.

The check in was not a great start. When we arrived at 3, we were told our room had been cleaned and was ready, but needed to be "inspected". It was not inspected until after 4pm- which was check-in time, but we had to ask at 4 and again at 4:15. I maybe should've slipped them some cash to get the inspection done. So that was a frustrating start. I am all for paying for a nice hotel, but here you are paying for location and views....the property is a little "beat up" over the years- the elevator barely works and new paint is sorely needed. We had an ocean view room, but the balcony situation was not private- you could inhale our neighbor's cigarette smoke or join in the crystal clear conversations being had next door. To top it off, we were billed someone else's breakfast and had to spend some time sorting it out and it was taken care of. We enjoyed Key West, but there are definitely better places to stay the the Casa Marina.

When we first walked into the lobby, we could smell how clean the property was. The resort staff, from the desk clerks to the waitresses, were phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to take care of us. Our room was great. The pools were extremely clean.

Overall, we had a good visit to Key West and stay at the Casa Marina. There were a few things, such as attitudes among staff, that were not always the kindest, and we felt like we were bothering them by asking the simplest questions, with the exception of the bartenders in the Canary Room. In addition, the $100 per day incidentals charge was rather confusing and the check-in staff did a terrible job of explaining it, and there was no disclosure regarding this charge anywhere to be found. It was not an issue, but a heads up would have been nice.

The gentleman at the front desk when checking in did not greet us. He sarcastically stated when asked if we had a view he stated “you have no view” like he took pleasure. Did I say no one offered to carry our luggage to the room. My mom is in her 70’s. Floor was dirty. We walked barefoot and out feet were black. We asked for a bottle of water for our trolley trip and the guy said “ we are out, if you need water that bad you can purchase in Morrisons. I felt like a second class citizen. I stayed there last year but this year was worse w staff.

At this hotel, they have no idea what it's like to treat a guest in a 4-star hotel, where a room can cost $700 or more, as was our case. They have very poor service, very poor customer service, very poor attention in every way. They don't care about anything, nor do they care about you as a guest. They don't guide you, they don't offer any service, they are extremely slow in everything. Our check-in was an hour after the scheduled time.

Mediocre for the hype and cost. Rooms, towels, beds and room service was basic corporate hotel level. Restaurant and bar staff were amazing. They went out of their way to take care of us and the high point of our stay. Door guys and valet were on point at all times all day. It’s to bad the hotel and front desk staff did not have this same standard.

Unfortunately there was construction going on during our stay and we woke up to noise from that most mornings. That was after the wild cockerels roaming the streets woke us up during the night! The resort IS in a good location though with a super private beech and a short walk to Duval Street and most restaurants and bars.

I like its historical background, style and large private beach. Two pools. It's location a bit south of downtown makes for a quiet neighborhood.... ... but also makes it a bit of a walk to downtown. But there are plenty of transportation options (bus, bike, scooter, golf cart, etc). My only real complaint is there weren't many trash cans in the room! Only one small one in the bath. Had to use alternative options to get rid of trash.

This is our favorite place to stay in Key West. It has everything you need with a very classy upscale feel. You can snorkel right off of the beach. It’s far enough away from everything to feel quiet and secluded yet close enough to enjoy all that Key West has to offer.

The staff were mostly friendly and quick to answer questions. The resort itself was not very entertaining and overall to expensive for what it offers. The dinner restaurant on resort was awful with service and limited food choices. Also unwilling to accommodate shrimp allergy. Husband and i spent more time in mallory square and exploring key west than we did at resort. If you get a rental car be prepared to pay daily parking fee at resort. Definitely would not stay at casa marina again. It is a beautifully designed resort and has a lot of history to it but it is not worth the price you pay

The property was lovely, such a beautiful space. My room was quiet, the bed was so comfortable, I slept so well! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the food and food service. The food was not very good, especially given how expensive it was. $22 for the equivalent of a garden salad? And service at the pool/beach was incredibly slow. They could have used a second server so it didn’t take 45 mins to get someone’s attention. They also got my order wrong 4/5 days which was frustrating, but not the end of the world.

Extremely Disappointing – This Is Not a 5-Star Hotel Our experience at Casa Marina was a huge letdown from start to finish. For a hotel that claims to be luxury, the service, amenities, and overall experience were shockingly low quality. Room service was especially bad. Food arrived in takeout containers, and once they even forgot to include silverware. We paid $160 for breakfast for two people and ate it out of boxes. On another morning, the only way to order was through their app—which didn’t work. When I called the front desk, they were rude and told me someone from food and beverage would call back. By the time they finally did, I had already missed breakfast because we had to leave for a boat tour. So we paid for breakfast we never got. Despite the Do Not Disturb sign on our door, housekeeping still knocked loudly trying to clean. Staff felt untrained, unprofessional, and just plain strange. At the pool, we saw an employee jump in the water with a guest. Another staff member told him he couldn’t swim there since he worked at the hotel. He responded that it was his wife. The staff member replied, “Well, we can get HR involved.” So yes, an employee was apparently caught swimming with a guest he was romantically involved with—right in front of everyone. Totally inappropriate. On top of that, someone was banging on our door at 1:30 in the morning. It was unsettling and made us feel unsafe. There’s no security presence, and the entire place felt chaotic and uncomfortable.

For a Hilton the food was sub par. The description of the food was great however a smash burger should be juicy not dry and for being in a tropical area the guac was flavorless along with the stale chips. The service while at the pool was intermittent.

We had a wonderful stay. Resort is quite nice. King studio ocean front was well worth the money. Wished the sargassum wasnt so bad but that's mother nature. Pools were excellent. Restaurant and food was exceptional. Definitely pricey but its key west. Gym was just so-so. Room keeping was minimal but good. Would definitely recommend.
