Very nice and they allow pets!

Overall good, room not as clean as normal...elevators were very slow and 1 not working...before checking out we waited 10 minutes on the 4th floor for the elevator, never came, so we took stairs. Told the front desk and she said yes we know, we've called someone to fix. Would've been nice to put a sign up so we and other guests weren't waiting 10 minutes until we gave up for an elevator that wasn't cominh

The property is being renovated and is definitely in need of that. Everything is very old, but under construction. Probably should close the sections that are in progress. Windows were very dirty on the outside and hard to see through.

The only problem was only one elevator was working the morning we were checking out

Rooms are clean & property seemingly renovated. Lobby area very nice. Pool area needs a lot of work & updating. Water felt weird. Too small & too many people in pool. Tiles & concrete in pool falling apart. Deck dirty with bugs & cigarette butts. Towels extremely small. We couldn’t wait to get out & take a shower. Good overall hotel for short stay.

No tv in room because there was no signal. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. When you rolled over in bed it made a very loud noise like some springs were broken. Did not plan to use the pool but saw a sign that it was closed for cleaning.

The check-in staff was friendly and helpful, but the property itself is not in good co diction. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty and stained, wallpaper was peeling in several areas, the bathroom light fixture in our room had no cover leaving wires exposed, plaster was chipping around the shower. The gym was “out of order” and couldn’t be used.

Nice easy location off of I-75. Quiet and clean. Dog friendly too. Breakfast is great with a nice variety.

Check in, the rooms that I booked put both side by side, one was broken and the other one was rented out. The young lady at the front desk was amazing, great attitude and above and beyond on her customer service. I was moved to another room, 423/425. 425, problems, a/c panel fell off the a/c was stuck at 72 the whole time, tried to get it down to 68 but I just sucked it up and sweated my butt off. I use a CPAP, machine it’s important that I’m comfortable when I sleep. The pool, it was cloudy to the point where you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. My kids refused to get in the pool because of this. The hallway’s had patched marks, the ceiling was falling off. The one elevator was a nightmare, I understand that things break but on a big checkout day, it sucked standing there with a arm load of things going to my car. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry over 20 years, this email isn’t from someone who just wants to complain. I currently work for one of the world’s luxury hotel brands. I hope that these things are fixed so that the next guest doesn’t have this problem. Thank you

Pet friendly

This hotel needs major upkeep. The carpets in the hallway were stained and disgusting, they have probably never been cleaned. The wallpaper everwhere was coming off or ripped. We would not even sit on the couch in the room because it was so stained and nasty. You could hear people next to you in the rooms, and someone stomped on the floors above us all night. This hotel is not worth the $160 we paid. We will never stay here again.

This was a terrible experience. After driving over 12 hours we arrived to a room that was filthy and dirty. There were live bugs crawling around on the sheets (I took photos) trash on the floor and hair all over the bathroom shower and floors. The hallways and carpets of this hotel are in desperate need of renovations. Stained floors/walls, peeling wallpaper. It was a gross experience. We left immediately and had to drive another hour and a half to fine better accommodations. Would give thiz zero stars if I could.

We have stayed in our share of Hampton Inn's in the past and have always received great service and the properties were always well maintained. This particular property was a complete DUMP! I took photographs to document the filth on the hallway carpet, the paint and drywall falling off the walls, the wallpaper curling up in the bathroom, not to mention how disgusting the tub was in our room. There was no way we were going to shower in that room. We checked out at 6:15am and went to another property. Trust me you don't want to take your family to this property and let your children play on the floors of this property. I don't know who is leaving Stellar reviews of this property, but they haven't stayed in a room on the 2nd floor it's filthy! The two ladies at the front desk barely acknowledged our presence. There is a Military base very close by and Military Personnel should not be staying in this filthy property! They deserve better!

Dirty bedding left behind on sleeper sofa. Pot smell all through the hall. Employees present not sure why this was allowed in a non smoking area. Wall paper peeling off. Toilet over ran. The list goes on.

Fourth floor looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Wallpaper coming off walls, particle board damage around fridge, dirty smell.

The hotel appeared clean but once checked in and went to take a shower there a as a lit of mold. By the next morning we all had very stuffy noses. Staff was great and helpful. I think they are in the process of doing an overhaul which needs to include ductwork

The hotel was not clean. My shoes stuck to the bathroom floor, the hall carpets are filthy, the shower and bathroom were dirty….we waited to take showers at another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

If you're allergic to mold, mildew, musk, stay away Wallpaper in hallways, ice machine area falling off the walls. Thermostat cover on floor, didn't try to adjust, put the cover back on upside down. Too tired to complain Woke up to a major slippery when wet shower tub Shampoo dispenser completely out of shampoo. Removed the dispenser from wall unit, turning it upside down trying to get anything out of it Threw the my wet towel on the floor, curiously I wiped the floor and as i figured, it to be dirty as well

We usually like Hampton, but unfortunately we stayed on a very old floor needing renovation: it was very old with wallpaper hanging in places and musty smelling hall carpet. The room was the same: rusty door hinges, musty smelling old carpet and broken, old, dirty furniture. The bed and pillows were good, the shower drained well and the shower head was clean. Other than those things, we would not come back and almost left.

There was significant damage to bathroom door handle, the closet door wouldn’t stay closed, the air conditioner was very loud and when it came on or went off, it sounded as if someone was beating on the wall. Won’t be staying here again.

The hotel is obviously in the middle of repairs/needs a lot of repair work done. However the actually room was very nice and clean. My only issue was the air conditioner in our room didn’t seem to work well. We were traveling as a family of 5, and we are kind of hot natured. There was only one air conditioner vent in the corner of the room. We were not sure if it was because there was only one vent, but we stayed for two days with the air turned down as low as it could and the room never felt comfortable. We even were gone for almost the entire day and it still was about 78 degrees inside. Again, we ignored it because we thought we’d were just hot and tired from the theme park. We went to sleep and all woke up around 2:30 am not able to take it anymore because we could not sleep. They offered to switch our room, which was nice. But again, a family of 5 getting up and packing at 3am to switch rooms seemed a little unnecessary so we just went home.

Did not like loud noises, such as walking from floor above/It was very distracting.

After many trips to Florida. This used to be our go to hotel to stay in. However over the last few years we have found properties we prefer better in the area.( better value, newer property). This year, a last minute decision to go to Florida, our normal property was booked. We decided to give this one a return visit. First off let me say the night staff was very friendly and welcoming, The hotel common area were clean and well taken care of. The room was clean overall but in severe need of repairs and maintenance. The popcorn ceiling had a large water stain and was peeling off and the walls had several dents and marks, the desk and furniture were starting to show more than “ normal “ wear and tear. The bathroom fan did not work and thus the steam from the shower was causing all the wallpaper to peel in multiple locations. Instead of repairing they used staples to attempt to fix the issue. The breakfast was average, the gym equipment was in need of repair. At checkout I voiced my complaint to the front desk and was told “ next time you come everything will be remodeled “. After paying the most I have ever paid for this hotel I was disappointed. This hotel has dropped several spots on my list and I may just keep driving if this is my only option.

This was an older model Hampton inn, not renovated. But the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and it had a good size TV. Breakfast was decent, was hoping for something a little more original than scrambled eggs and sausage link, and there was no fresh fruit like and other of your hotels. The hallway were freezing cold, and made a very uncomfortable But the rooms heater worked okay, even though the front face plate of the thermostat was missing and I had to call for the maintenance man to come up to show me how to make it work.

It was a good stay. The hotel was being renovated so there was a lot of workers. The hotel was clean and front desk was very friendly. Bed was very uncomfortable. The hardest bed I have ever sleep in. Pool was dirty. Breakfast was very good.

Nice room; didn’t realize it was a handicap room so it was very roomy. The A/C was problematic since the fan would not stay on. We experienced cold, hot, cold due the cycling of the air compressor. The bottom sheet was put on inside out so it popped off during the night. The room was well maintained. The staff very accommodating to allow early check in so we could dress for a funeral service. Highly recommend some handicap railing outside of the bath as well as some plastic strips in the bed of the tub to prevent slipping.

Comfortable bed, spacious room, great unit AC unit, quiet.

They need renovations to all the common areas of the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious. However, the bed was extremely hard which is unusual for Hampton Inn. Lastly, the air conditioner kept the room very comfortable. For the price I would not recommend this establishment to others.

Th bed was hard and sounded like broken wood, when the AC came on it sounded like someone was banging on the door. The room smelled old and moist.

Prescilla was superb atthe front desk.

Staff was welcoming friendly, easy check in, the one issue I came across and notified them about was taken care of. It was decently clean but could use some detail cleaning, overall good stay, comfortable and convenient

Have stayed here several times. Last stay I forgot a pair of new tennis shoes in my room. I called bext day and spome to Laura. She was helpful, housekeeping retrieved my shoes and Laura held them in the office so when I came back through a few weeks later she had them for me. Service above and beyond.

My visit at the Hampton Inn, in Valdosta georgia was very pleasant The staff was very professional and polite.

Check-in was at 3pm but was told our room wasn’t available and they didn’t know when it’s be ready. I had to ask multiple times if there was anyway they could prioritize cleaning our room since we were in a time crunch. The lady checking me in never offered an alternative resolution and would have been fine with saying she wasn’t sure if she could anything. I then asked a 3rd and 4th time when she finally asked her colleague and her colleague came up with a solution for us to check-in right away. We didn’t have an ironing board in the room so I called the front desk to see if they could delivery one to the room. She mentioned the person with the whereabouts of an ironing board wasn’t on site at the moment but would ask them when they were. I never heard back from the about this. The temperature in the room never got below 69 degrees even though we had the cold air on 65. This made sleeping conditions very uncomfortable with it being summer in South Georgia. Thank goodness we only stayed for one night.

Check in was at 3:00 pm but it took 2.5 hours after that before our online check in was ready. I even had to call to ask an ETA. Front desk was short staffed, and courteous but it would have been helpful for someone to have called and let us know prior to arrival that our rooms weren’t going to be ready since we had already checked in the prior night online and chose our check in time. I understand being sold out and multiple late checkouts but communication would have been helpful since we are traveling and timing our arrival accordingly. We also had chosen our rooms while online check in and we were assigned different rooms.

Good choice for a short stay. Staff are excellent. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is decent also. Property needs some updates, but that might explain the construction on-site.

The property was undergoing renovations and smelled moldy. The A/C unit in the first room assigned was not working, but the onsite handyman, Terry was PHENOMENAL and got the unit started. However, we left to attend a family function and upon return, the room was stifling and the a/c was not working. It was after 10 PM and when I brought it to the desk clerk's attention, she immediately changed us to another room.

I'm going to shorten this review as much as I can by simply using bullet points: 1. Front desk clerk could not locate my reservation which resulted in a long hold time with expedia. 2. Could not get into my actual room until 9:30PM and check in was at 3:00PM. No compensation was offered. 3. Was placed in a room next to a loud party which resulted to police being called at 2:30AM. 4. Instead of compensation, was charged an extra $35.00 for date change. I do not recommend this hotel and will not stay here ever again.

I was there for an event at the Rainwater Conference Center and stayed there overnight. The beds were very comfortable, friendly staff, great location not to far from eating establishments.

The property is under renovation. Yet, the areas are clean. The staff is great, professional and accommodating. The property is located near a variety of restaurants and Walmart and Sam's Club is down the street. I will definitely stay here again.

The Hampton Inn sign on Norman Road takes you to a restaurant parking lot, not into the hotel lot.

The highway noise is bothersome due to its close proximity to interstate highway.

Stayed overnight and waked next door to Cheddar’s for dinner. It was nice to be out of the car. Room was very comfortable. Great linens and pillows. Very close to interstate.

The property is undergoing a renovation, so I understand the mess. I stay in Hamton inns all over the east side of the country. and I count on two things a high-quality bed and A hot cup of coffee any time of the day or night. This property had neither! at a little after ten pm. when I told the night man your out of coffee. he said I will put some on a little 4am. Not what I'm accustom of hearing at a Hampton Inn. very shocked by the cheap hard king bed. also, not what I'm accustomed to at a Hampton Inn. If I wanted to stay at a super 8 I would have saved 50.00

Hallways rugs dirty snd worn out. Wallpaper pealing off walls. This place needs a toral renovation. Breakfast was sparce, only 2 hot items, scrambled eggs and sausage links. That's all!

Easy to reach from the interstate. Some areas showed a lot of wear but generally clean. Breakfast was good, more than just continental.

Breakfast was very good and and the breakfast area was clean and plenty of seating.

The property is under renovation so the carpet in the hallway is waiting to be replaced. The area around the pool needs attention. The room was roomy enough for my stay but the bathroom is waiting on the renovation. The breakfast was good, I really enjoyed the waffle mix-where can that mix be found.

Pleased that Breakfast had waffles but there was no fresh fruit available. Limited options. Floors were unclean upon entry to floors. Large balls of hair and dirt in walkway. Dirty bathroom flooring. However shower head was amazing.

Had a very nice stay there, and the breakfast buffet was perfect.

Good beds and breakfast. Keys were ready when we checked in and there was no wait- very much appreciated that as we arrived late and were ready for bed. Eco friendly silverware at breakfast and bath soaps.

The breakfast offerings were very bland. The eggs were almost completely dry and lacked any taste. The sausage was over cooked and pretty chewy. I was disappointed in the lack of attention to the freshness and taste of those breakfast offerings.
