This was a great location on the water with a semi private deck area. However, as it is in a transition phase, they had no food license. The pool was obviously closed (too early). The front desk closed at 8 and there was no daily room cleaning (although they did sweep our floor when we asked.) The in-room coffee was horrid and we had to ask for a microwave. The rate was fair (off-season). What I am upset about is the nearly $200 resort fee. For what? No pool, no restaurant, no real coffee, no maid service. And, our room was above the mechanical/boiler room so we heard it cycle about every half hour. On a plus note, parking was free and the staff was great!

Fantastic location. No free bicycles (mentioned in reasons for resort charges) and pool closed in October. Hire of bikes/scooters available but not cheap. Rooms tired but spacious and with great views. Paid for reasonable buffet breakfast. Good service in bar/restaurant.

The staff was very kind and pleasant however the report itself is under staffed. I’m confused why we pay a report fee when non hotel members have access to all amenities as a hotel guest. It was an amazing stay, however over priced for what was received.

The location of the inn is amazing. We had a room that opened onto the lawn by the pool (I believe it was called Harbor View) and stepping out and watching the sunrise, grabbing a coffee and sitting in the adirondacks, hopping over to the pool for a swim were all so nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had shampoo/conditioner and bodywash dispensers. Other than that, it was pretty basic. Our room was advertised on Expedia as accommodating 3 but all it had was a king size bed. I expected a sofa or something for the 3rd person. I mentioned this at the desk and the guy said he would look into it but wasn‘t particularly concerned. The resort fee of 35 seemed unnecessary at those prices considering there is just coffee/tea offered. I guess it‘s for pool towels and internet but that should be included. Having said all that, i would still stay again for the location.

This hotel boasts an incredibly beautiful location with phenomenal ocean views, allowing spectacular sunsets from the patio. Parking was plentiful and easy, and the shuttle bus to town was a convenient amenity. However, for a nightly rate exceeding $400, the quality of the rooms was a major letdown. The room decor and furnishings felt exceptionally basic. Furthermore, there were significant problems with the electrical outlets: several were inconveniently placed, and some were completely non-functional, creating frustration when trying to charge phones and other electronics. The location is great by beach. There’s a free shuttle to the wharf and sister hotel Harbor Hotel. There’s free piano bar live music and singing on Saturdays. It was a fantastic show. The pool was crowded. The hotel is dated but the bathroom products were very nice, including the lotion. The bed was ok but the pillow could be softer. It’s a quick walk to the Provincetown Causeway to hike on the rocks over to Wood End Lighthouse. You should wear shoes as the sand is very hot on the other side and bring water.

Probably the most I’ve ever paid for a complete dump. Dirty. Noisy. Tv didn’t work. Vending machines out of order. Run down. Dirty finger prints on doors. Just a nasty property. The walls were paper thin so we heard everything…and I mean EVERYTHING. It’s by the water and that’s the only thing it had going.

Great view, easy parking, good location. But… it’s one of the dirtiest rooms I’ve slept in. Surfaces weren’t clean, LOTS of hair (human and pet) in the bathroom and around the room. For ~$450/night, it’s not acceptable… and it’s so unnecessary - everything else was great.

We had a great time at the Provincetown Inn! It was our first time staying at this establishment. The room was very clean upon arrival. The room was cleaned daily, which was nice due to the amount of beach sand you bring back in. The room was a balcony view of the bay. Gorgeous views and we could see 2 lighthouses and the Pilgrim Monument from our balcony. The housekeeper Cherry-Ann was amazing! She's very dedicated and does an amazing job! Thank you, Cherry-Ann! The front desk people were wonderful with great attitudes! 2 negatives. The outdoor pool was freezing cold. Even during 90° days and extremely humid. And the room bathrooms are very small. Not great for people with wide hips lol. Overall 5 star stay!

Our room was dirty. The bathroom was missing simple necessities like hand soap, extra toilet paper and Kleenex. No coffee maker. When complained to the front desk she gave us a coffee maker from another room but never the coffee. The grounds had trash around, the pool was a dingy green and no pool towels.

We stayed at this hotel years ago but we were extremely disappointed this time. The location is great but the hotel sincerely needs a really good cleaning. Not only is there a horrible musty smell throughout the hotel but the rooms and bathrooms are pretty dirty and not very well maintained. The first room we were assigned had a mix of black and pink mold throughout the bathroom and shower. The second room we were assigned had less mold and we decided to get Clorox wipes and cleaned it ourselves since we were in the area for a wedding and hotel availability in the area was scarce.

This property needs a major overhaul. Stayed off season and it was like a ghost town…staying as a single woman, I felt so unsafe and creeped out. Carpets in hallways were old and filthy and bathroom was dirty. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Wow, I should’ve read the reviews in more detail — my room (153) was awful. I booked last minute right before Labor Day and had basically no options, but paid more than $400 a night for a “deluxe king” that was a joke. No carpet in the room, some sort of vinyl flooring. No door on the closet. Bathroom door did not close. Toilet paper holder comically situated 4 feet away from toilet behind the door. No hook for a hand towel. No wash cloths provided. Soap and shampoo pump dispensers in shower could not be opened/used. The only furniture besides the bed was a tiny table with two cheap hard chairs. The walls were so thin I heard every phone conversation my neighbor had. And the noise of the ice dispenser around the corner. The door from the parking lot was right outside my room and anyone opening and closing it shook my room door. The location is nice and so was the staff, but I wouldn’t put someone in house arrest in this room. It looked NOTHING like any of the photos on the website.The kind manager at the front gave me a small refund. But the owners should be ashamed of this. Go somewhere else.

The location is convenient, close to the beaches and to downtown by bike or walking. There is plenty of parking space. We stayed in standard king room for 3 nights. It was small and outdated with roof view. Room was expensive and absolutely not worth it. A shower was small, old, had crack in plastic wall and not well fitted door. The room cleaning is once in three days with supply on demand. We asked for the room upgrade with ocean view; the manager told us he has the room; latter we were told that “something happened” so the upgrade never happened…. no further explanation. We are not planning to stay in this hotel in the future.

If you get a room overlooking the sea, this place is amazing. The location offers views from most rooms but I would not choose poolside unless that’s your thing. The location allows quick access to the breakwater and bike paths. They offer a shuttle to and from town if the walk seems too long but renting an ebike is the way to go. The rooms are worn and the bathroom small but the beds are very comfortable, and being on the water is fantastic.

I appreciated my early check in, my taxi from the ferry arrived at 2pm, and my room was ready :) I had a ocean view from my room, with a nice deck, beautiful! My A/C, heat, and T.V., worked very well. Just a couple of things that could be improved. I couldn't connect to WiFi, on my phone, or on my tablet for my entire stay. I asked at the front desk, and they said "they didn't have very good connection, they've had problems"? I also asked for a microwave (it said on Expedia, that you could get one on request). They said, "they didn't have any at that time, we're in the process of getting new ones" :( The guy driving the shuttle to town is very friendly, and accommodating.

We had the loveliest 2 night stay. Room and facilities were extremely clean, sheets and towels were crisp and clean, like new. The pool was just opening .. it’s huge with a well stocked bar and great bartenders!! Front desk staff, Jane , Arla, Raymond and Roxanne, Vesco, and Jay were especially friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely would stay again

Checkin time is 4:00, and we were still waiting at 4:30. Then they gave us a room that hadn’t been cleaned. But they then moved is to a clean room after we complained. And they messed up our billing. Great location, though

Check in process: Around 2:00 Staff on duty said our room was not ready early because while it had been cleaned it needed to be inspected and the inspector went on break. At 3:00 we approached another reservation staff who said that while our room was still listed as not ready, she could check the room’s readiness, walked down the hall to do so, and returned to give us the room keys, saying that sometimes housekeeping does not inform them when a room is ready. We waited an hour longer than we likely needed to.

Terrible experience. Arrived to check in and get to an event at 4pm. It was a shitshow with a long line to check in and one person at reception. Eventually someone came out from back room and tried to help. Rooms were not available to check in with no rstimated time they would be.

I have been staying at the Inn for several years. Check-in was always easy. The last two experiences have not gone well. I feel that the front desk has no idea of what is going on with guest, not very friendly and not very helpful or knowledgeable about the check-in process. I required about staying an extra day and they wanted to move me to another room which made no sense when the hotel had several rooms available for incoming guest

Right near the beach. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Its an older hotel and i love the touches. My room has a patio, comfortable bed, and a lovely deep bathtub. Coffee and fridge in room. Location is right where the pilgrims first came ashore - its a naturally sheltered area with 3 lighthouses and gorgeous beaches. Really could not be more fantastic!

Fantastic location, nice hotel with beautiful views of the cape cod bay and amazing sunrise and sunset views. Town is a short walk or take the free hourly shuttle through the day, from and back to hotel. We enjoyed our stay truly in a cozy room with views and walk out to the beach. Will do it again if we go back to Provincetown.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Provincetown Inn. We stayed the week after Labor Day so the hotel's season was already over and the hotel was really empty. It took us probably 5-7 minutes to find the front desk man, but once found he was nice enough. W only spent one night but ate in the bar of the hotel. We had VERY GOOD clam chowder and fish and chips. Again, very good! The bartender was great and the conversation in the bar was lively! Sunrise and sunset on the cape was my favorite thing!!

Before booking, we had checked with the hotel regarding the restaurant and bar hours. We were assured that both would be open. Again at check-in we asked about hours. Again, assured both would open at 5:00! At 5:30 when we went to get a drink and appetizer, both were closed and not opening for the evening! We were assigned a room in the “historic” wing! That refers to the fact the rooms need a lot of attention. A Mr. Clean sponge goes a long ways. The person who checked us in was lovely and tried to be helpful. Would we stay there again? Probably not. The $30 amenities fee should be referred to as a parking fee as there were no other amenities provided.

Overall, I love this Inn. We come here every year. The food and adult beverages are great! This year we encountered a negative person working the front desk. She was cold and aloof. She barely looked at us and never smiled. She made us uncomfortable with her disdainful affect. I happened to wave hello walking by and she looked the other way with a sour face ! Ugh

The hotel is going through renovation's so a little chaotic but what an amazing location and the little upgrades are nice. Most staff super friendly and helpful. Not all. The breakfast in the cool old bar is great and did I mention location.

This is an enviable location -we chose the view of the breakwater which was very nice. However for the price the rooms are small and overpriced. Smoking is permitted on the premises so we had smokers on either side of us including two ladies who sat outside their room and smoked all day. The service at the restaurant is very slow so be prepared. Overall the only good thing here is the view

Season just opened under relatively new management. Due to that, upon arrival we learned that the restaurant was not open the late afternoon we arrived - in the middle of a raging Nor’easter. Would have been nice to know that before arriving so we could plan to have food in. There seems to be a disconnect between front desk, kitchen & serve staff (& staff in general) about what is available for services or not. Nobody seemed to know? Coordination between staff & management needs to improve. I wish the new management good luck. Really like this old, unique place.

The bed was very comfortable. The rooms have a beachy vibe and the bathroom feels more like a beach cottage than a hotel bathroom but it was serviceable. It was sufficient and the location, view, staff and comfort of the bed more than make up for it.
