Harbor Hotel Provincetown

It is right across the road from the beach. Very family friendly - offers fenced in courtyard with pool, fire pits, comfortable seating, and lawn games. Would definitely recommend.

We love the cleanness of the room and property. Staff goes above and beyond to answer your question. The pool area is a great place to eat and relax. We also loved the firepit area. We would definitely be back

The shuttle to the main area of Ptown was great! Also the facilities were clean and organized

Modern room with great beach view. Well kept heated pool with cabana bar, and 3 fire pit areas on the property. Clean throughout. Front desk staff helpful and pleasant, all shifts. A shout out to Maurice for being so accommodating, he even offered us a ride to ferry area in his personal vehicle while we were waiting for the free bus on the last day, which we gladly accepted. That kindness was exceptional and appreciated. We came in Friday on the Boston ferry and found PTown still charming, fun and friendly. We will return!

This reimagined motor lodge has been upgraded with simple designs and furnishings and plenty of family-oriented perks like gian jenga and connect 4 games poolside, gas firepits that are lit every night, a giant children's splash pad, and a huge pool with a grill and bar. The shuttle to Ptown is complimentary and frequent. Really terrific property!

Absolutely loved the pool and cabana bar. Games and bon fires, proximity to the harbor (esp during low tide) were fun. Didn't get a chance to use the bike rentals but they looked really cool. The rooms are a bit dated and we could hear the door slamming at night near our room (which was near the entryway).There was also some drilling going on during the day (which made it tricky for toddler naps) so there are improvements being made. Other than that, staff were really nice. Our kids keep asking about the pool!

This property is located just outside PT center, which is not walkable from the hotel BUT there is a free bus which stops just in front plus a hotel van which runs 1-8. We used both daily. Our room overlooked the pool. Spacious, nice modern bathroom, refrigerator, coffee machine and good AC and hot water. Pool opened between 10-11am and stayed open until 10(?). There is a cabana type bar and cafe inside the pool gates. My ONLY negative is that the pool bar closed around 5pm and the nice bar off the lobby is no longer open. Secondly (without a car) there is no nearby breakfast restaurant. There is a refrigerated case off the lobby check-in desk that offers wrapped breakfast sandwiches etc. Also assorted drinks and wine for purchase. Good coffee and microwave off lobby as well after 8am. I would absolutely return. The beach is across the street from the front of the hotel. There is a fire pit circled by Adirondack chairs with the fire lit each evening. The staff was absolutely terrific plus we had fabulous meals in town at Helltown Kitchen and Ciro & Sal’s. Totally recommend them as well (advance reservations a necessity!).

We had a wonderful stay. The staff ate very friendly. Rooms and pool were very clean. It was perfect! I highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely be back.

DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH! This whole hotel is a public health hazard. The rooms are covered in black mold all around. This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in a shoreline hotel. We arrived late the first night. When we entered the room, a damp odor hit our noses. We aired the room and went to dinner. It was hard to see in the evening dark what was going on in that room. We couldn't sleep at night because of headaches. In the morning we saw, that the lampshade was covered in black mold, the bathroom paint was peeling off the walls, and the exposed electricity tubes were rusted all over. When we asked them to change our room, they did so. We went to check the second room, only to find out the bed frames were all molded. What is this hotel doing? Black mold is a fungus humans are not supposed to live with. It can cause serious illness and worsen asthma symptoms. It irritates the immune system. Also check the bedbug registry in Provincetown, because some hotels have them. Nightmare.

The location was great! Room was mostly clean. The beds were comfortable. There were sand granules everywhere on the floor when we got to the room. No elevator so ask for a first floor if you do t want to do a flight of stairs.

Great location. Very nice pool and area around it. Fire pits were good to have. Rooms good size. Comfy bed. No storage. Rooms smelled bad unless AC on. Housekeeping not great ie forgot to replace towels, sandy floor. Front staff gave me a really hard time each time I asked for towels. No breakfast or even water included.

Takes along bike ride to get into town from hotel. Shuttle only runs part time. Guests smoking pot and cigarette’s which infiltrated my room. Carpet was stained and the bathroom had long black hair strands on floor and sink area. No room service last day.

The place was dirty and carpet stained. Called Travelocity to report the conditions and they did not do anything. I paid $366.00 for a dirty motel

I stay here 1-2 times a year. Normally we stay in a courtyard room with a patio. Unfortunately that was unavailable due to last minute booking so we stayed in a regular courtyard room in the other building. We have never had issues here until this trip. The first night we stayed I was in bed and felt tissues on my feet. There were 3 dirty crumbled up tissues at the bottom of the bed. Which means the sheets were not changed prior to our arrival. The housekeeper left the door wide open as she was cleaning the next day and we brought it to her attention- meanwhile that night we had a bunch of bugs in the room and on the bed from her leaving the door open. We did speak to housekeeping management about the tissues and lack of cleanliness that the bed was not changed prior to arrival. Otherwise room was ok. Floors with no carpeting versus other building. Little dangerous if someone were to fall. Maurice is always welcoming and Emiliano is always amazing! I will continue to come here but sure hope for better service and cleaner rooms in the future. Was definitely disappointed.

Wireless is terrible (intermittent and unreliable), and that didn’t improve after we told them at the beginning of the week. Housekeeping never got it right (we’re 4 people and we rarely got 4 towels each day. There was little to no cleaning daily, and we were there 8 nights, so that wasn’t great). If you want food, be aware that there’s no breakfast (that is made known) and takeout options in the area are limited. On the plus side, free town and hotel shuttles run regularly down Bradford St into the middle of town. And the room itself is clean and was recently updated. There’s also a pool with grilled food available in the afternoon. In total, as long as you’re aware of the limitations (and that season prices are high, but average for the area), this will be an okay stay for you.

Nicely designed rooms and well maintained + clean. Beach is right across the street and bikes + scooter rentals are outside hotel along with bus stop. Strong AC and nice bathroom. My only critique would be that the barn door fad on hotel bathrooms is overrated. A regular door offers more privacy. Also the AC unit does not have adjustable fins and blows right at the persons head sleeping next to it. However I slept backwards with my head at the foot of the bed to remedy this. The beds are comfortable. It was a nice stay and I would come back.

New, great design and conveniences (like restaurant buzzers used in the pool area, thick white towels, good wi-fi) and free shuttle into town. And it’s on the water.

It was nice being on the ocean but my complaint is the windows were filthy. You pay for the view but we had to wash the windows ourselves so we could see out of them.

We really enjoyed the ocean view that our room provided, as well as the cleanliness and roominess of the room, the modern retro chic design was cute too. Our only gripe was how small the bathroom was, but other than that this hotel is very convenient with how close it was to a lot of the bars and clubs and restaurants and shops. Definitely would recommend we come again but this time during Pride of course so we can be a part of the festivities.

Front desk staff was courteous and checked us in early without any problem. Although the room looked nice and well maintained, the room itself was dim lit with poor lighting and the beds were a quite uncomfortable. It was a very pricey stay to walk away aching from an uncomfortable bed. It was just ok...

The room is too small. There is no dresser in the room. Too pricey for the experience.

Had a nice stay here, wasn’t blown away but I loved the balcony space and the fact that there are Queen size beds. The bathrooms definitely need an upgrade, specifically the shower curtains, which cause for a bunch of water to spill out every time. It was also a task trying to get more towels and wash cloths. Then, it would also be nice to have a room phone to reach the front desk.

Crista is the BEST! I had accidently scheduled 3 king sized bedrooms with two children and their grandmother. As soon as I realized having separate rooms without adjoining doors was not going to work, Crista went into troubleshooting mode. She found the LAST two rooms that connected during the busiest time of year! The staff always was above and beyond. Horis would check in with the families with young children to make sure the splash pad was turned on for them - everyone was so approachable. THANK you for making our East Coast vacation relaxing, safe, and a family hit!

Over all it was a good experience. Its a road side motel with NO food options except by the pool and coffee in the morning. The entire staff was pleasant EXCEPT the pool side bar tender. He was rude every time we encountered him .

We ran into delays in getting to the hotel, but Sean at the front desk was great about it, and when we did arrive in the evening, we received a warm welcome from the woman staffing the desk at 7 p.m. or so. The room had a terrific view--thanks, Sean, for the complimentary upgrade--and was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable. And it was a high point to swim in the heated pool. When we checked out, Sean again was at the reception desk, and I really appreciated his genuine, warm thanks for our stay and wishes for a safe trip home.

The Harbor Hotel Provincetown is the best! The staff is the friendliest and it's such a nice and clean hotel! Love it! it never disappoints! :)

There was a domestic situation in the room next to us. We called the front desk and cops ended up coming but it kept us up for 3 hours from 3-6 am. For the money we were spending we expected the hotel to handle the situation more swiftly. Staff was unapologetic during checkout and didn’t even ask how the stay was. Spending $700 for 2 nights I would’ve expected better service or at least some compassion. Sink and shower also backed up.

We are returning customers and once again enjoyed our short stay at the Harbor Hotel. The staff at the desk was outstanding … very friendly and helpful. When our room wasn’t ready by 4pm, they didn’t hesitate to provide us with an alternative, upgraded room. The shuttle to Provincetown center was convenient and a great alternative to the expense of parking in town. We didn’t take advantage of the pool area or fire pits, but wish we had the time to. Fantastic amenities overall!!

Great location on the east end - the free shuttle bus runs every half-hour, and takes you to the center of Provincetown, so no need for driving - and parking in Provincetown!! It is also a nice walk into town, but the shuttle saves time and is great at night.

The hotel is a short walk to the east and west ends of town and the free parking safes us 20.00 plus per day. The rooms are very modern and extremely clean.

beautiful hotel. best suprise is there was a shuttle that ran every 20 mins to the downtown area, completly free. we didn’t know this when we booked but it was SO convient and saved us a ton of money! the driver was the nicest man we have ever met. highly recommend!

The location is perfect across the street from the Provincetown Harbor Staff was friendly and helpful, they had planned activities for children and adults. They also provided a shuttle to the center of town.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a mostly wonderful experience. There are a few things that could be improved and would have been helpful to know. 1) the lobby which has a microwave and toaster is only open from 8’am-10 pm. There is a fridge and keurig in the room but otherwise no option to heat any food unless you rent/request a microwave in the room. It would really be helpful if the lobby was open to guests outside of desk hours for this reason. 2) since there is a pool bar/grill you cannot bring outside drinks/food into pool area but there is a large amount of space near lobby to bring in food and eat at a table since space inside the room is sparse and the outdoor table on our patio didn’t work for 4 ppl 3) rooms are very limited on space, workable but tight. Please add hooks to bathroom for towels!! 4) beach right across is lovely but definitely mind the tide because it shrinks to a small patch! 5) use the free buses for transportation to town because the bikes and scooters are costly and hard to navigate in the crowded streets of P-town. 6) Sink in bathroom is unusually tall lol. Which is an issue when 3 people in your party are 5’4 and under. Kids would really need a small footstool to brush their teeth or wash their faces. 7) Ability to request early or late checkout ahead of time was a major plus and they were able to accommodate us checking in at noon which was so wonderful and really made our first day enjoyable! We would definitely return!

Helpful and friendly staff. Very nice pool and backyard area. The hotel permits dogs: had a barking dog all evening. The website said it had a restaurant on site: it was no longer open. The food and bar at the pool was very expensive.

When checking in, the front desk person was very accommodating. He got us as close to friends as possible. Very helpful and pleasant. The pool area was very nice and with lawn games, splash pad for kids, multiple fire pits and a cabana bar with food and drinks and free shuttle to town. About the cabana bar: food much to expensive( families can’t pay the those prices, ie burger $17). Then the bar manager coming over telling guest they cannot have any beverage or food in the pool area unless you purchase it from them. This was not told to us upon arrival. They promote free shuttle into town but it’s only Friday and Saturday, we arrived Sunday. Sort of false advertising. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay especially directly across from the ocean.
